Very nice hotel. The rooms clean and modern. The owner and the staff very nice & helpful. The location very good, near restaurants, shops and beach.

The hotel was nice and the people were friendly. However, if you’re staying at less modern part of the hotel, beware of a few things: there’s no hot water (a little warm at best), the refrigerator didn’t work, the wifi didn’t work, and we had to ask to get shampoo and conditioner as well as a blanket. We stayed here for a week on the beautiful Island of Thassos. The hosts are very welcoming, especially Anna and the young female female assistant, (Maria?) Rooms are very comfortable with a superb shower. Good views from the rooftop terrace, which also includes a hot tub and tiny pool

First impressions. Only arrived today so these are just my immediate thoughts. Clean, tidy, friendly establishment which has had a lot of work done to it. There are a few minor issues, which I hope we can get resolved quickly, but otherwise the Menel appears to have been an inspired choice. I'll add to this when we've settled in properly.

Just Blooming Lovely! Centrally placed, tiny and cute little hotel. Attentive service from Anna and Maria. Good breakfast buffet selection for a small hotel. 20 yards outside the door to a great little village and selection of tavernas and bars. Try the Street Cafe cocktails! One of the best stays i’ve been to. Not only the good location, but all the very good service i had during my stay here. The room was brand new with everything cleaned and changed daily, the delicious and various meals and the hosts that are extraordinary, warm people. I highly recomend this hotel as i cant wait to be their guest again.

This is a fantastically run hotel in an idillic location, right on the sea front. It is family run, and everyone is so lovely. Considering price/value equation, this hotel is definetely a very good choice. Owners are very friendly, very helpful. Rooms are small but very clean. And most importantly located just in the town, very convenient to reach restaurants for dinner. Only the breakfast was quite weak this year. Two years ago it was much better. Hope owners take care of this.

An unmodified old hotel with small rooms. The rooms are clean, except the air conditioners that are very dusty and do not work properly. Breakfast is not diversified enough. Probably the hotel was very well-rated in the 1990s. Let's hope the new manager will improve service quality the following year.

Calm, not crowded, many cafes and bars serving on the beach. However it is rocky and the water is a bit muddy.

It was ok, there were tiny stones in the water, but if you go past them the sand is smooth. Plenty of terraces and bars to choose from, the waiters speak basic words from other European languages and are always very kind and willing to make your stay better and better!

The beach is small but clean and the weather is much clearer and cleaner then the rest of the beaches on this side. The entrance has rocks but there is sand at your feet after a few meters. You can even see some fish swimming around you.

In June it is windy and the beach is not very clean. It is a mixture between sand and rocks. They clean it partially just in front of the hotels. A recently renovated hotel with great interior design . It has a nice swimming pool and the beach was right in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was great. Rooms are small, the bathroom doors are frosted glass, and the showers don’t have a door/curtains. We were doubtful about the unknown facility before we came here. Actually the room was modest, but with a nice panorama... Amazing locaiton and excellent staff made us very happy during our stay. Hidden gem (but literally hidden, if you rely only on navigation - we were cruising around looking for it for almost an hour). Pet friendly - they loved Zoë. Great hotel rooms, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was good. The hotel's beach bar is a place where you can spend your time each night. Good location -close to the restaurants and shops but far enough so that there is no noise during the night. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is ok, the communication with the hotel was great even before we arrived at the location. The Greek Night, the sea view and the food and free parking.
