The best hotel in Methoni. We stayed there with our 2 kids for 10 days. They are renovating and the new elevator was the best thing to do it. Big thanks to Mary and George ❤

Alex Hotel is a very nice, clean and friendly accommodetion. It has fantastic balconies seeing the sea. Giorge and Mary are worn hosts.

One of the best points for sea view in Methoni. Try waffle with chocolate. Pizza is also good. If Yiannis is in the beach bar don't forget to try Mohito.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with balconies with a lovely view. the breakfast is full of fruits and freshly made local delicacies and the owners and staff very kind and helpful. The hotel is located very near a nice beach.

Excellent location between Finikouda and Methoni. Very clean family run business. 1 minute walk to one of the best beaches in the area. Many beach bars and sun beds along the beach to accommodate everyone. Highly recommended.

We are visiting again this year (2022). This means that we are more than pleased with the service, location, people, equipment. Only one "nice to have" point: A playground in the front area would be fantastic!

Newly built place with good plumbing and water pressure. Breakfast is average, filling but not very varied. The wifi is slow to return, but quite fast on the cable. The room has rj45 sockets, patch cord can be requested at the reception. Excellent view from the balcony and terrace to the valley, the bay and the ancient fort.

Fantastic hotel! Very clean and modern, well maintained, very polite and helpful staff, and a great breakfast! The location is also perfect- just a short walk to the castle entrance, beaches and the best tavernas in Methoni! Wish we stayed longer!

Very nice and newly renovated hotel, very close to the beach and the castle. The bathroom door was a little unfortunate in our room - it was a glass door and not fully closing.

Incredibly helpful staff - good breakfast. Our a/c was out of oder but everything was done to help the situation. A new a/c was ordered. In the meantime we have been given a fan to help with the heat. The location is magical the castle nearby makes for stunning views at all hours.

Good place to stop for a few days. Family run hotel, good room and price and the location was fantastic. The only downside and not the hotels fault was a very bright light shining on the beach and also into my room.

Excellent location and sea view. The beach is in front of the hotel and it is very clear and shallow, ideal for kids. The rooms are outdated, but it did not matter for me. The minus was that we booked a room with breakfast, and both the 2 days there was nothing left to eat when we were going to the breakfast buffet. As I understand, they never renew it.

I didn't stay at the hotel, I just visited the café place, thus, my rate concerns only the view from the hotel which is magnificent, just in front of the beach, overlooking the castle. However, the beach is rather muddy in the greater Methoni's area.

Welcome from the host was great, the room had all the necessary things, the breakfast however was exceptional, we have rarely been treated to such a breakfast feast, fresh orange juice, home made bread, fresh cakes, Greek Yoghurt (of course) fresh fruit, jams, honey, spread, tea or coffee, eggs, all very tasty. A wonderful welcoming small Greek hotel. Rooms were lovely, beds so comfortable (which is not often the case in Greece)and bed linens excellent quality. The breakfasts were superb, homemade bread and deserts. Would definitely stay there again.

I've just come back from a wonderful week at the Ulysses Hotel. It is an amazing hotel: wonderful breakfasts, comfortable rooms and such a friendly welcome from Nikos and the whole team. It is a mini paradise! I can't wait to come back.

I loved my stay at this totally laid-back and unpretentious beachfront accomodation only minutes from Methoni's fantastic Venetian sea-castle. My room was comfortable with a small terrace that made me feel like I was in Thailand in the mornings. Thank you Nikos. Snorkeling around the castle was the highlight of my summer in Greece.

The place is beautiful ! The rooms aren't perfect but they are simple and beautiful. The onwer explained me that if they have more money to invest it could be better but they are just one family trying to keep the place alive. The prices are good and the family is friendly. The view is unforgettable! I will come again ! Thank you!

Super clean, elegant rooms right on the beach front, in the shade of a goergous midieval castle. Great spot to start your excursions to breathtaking southwest Peloponese, great place to sink into the relaxed ways of the locals as well. Owners took care of us as if we were family. Recomended.

Location of the property was perfect. No distance of a walk to the beach, the restaurants, the souvenir shops, and of course the magnificent castle, it was just the best. We hired a car to get about Greece and had no trouble finding a parking space nearby the property. It is traditional Greek property, with a balcony, big spacious room, high ceilings, - if you’re like us and admire simple quiet living...

My husband and me came in this hotel in August 2022 and we have one of the best holiday that we lived in Greece. Angela and Aris are very special people! Angela prepared for us every moorning breakfast but it was a lunch (tea, orange juice, toasts, cakes, bread with marmelade, eggs and much more). Enormously friendly and thoughtful host. Accidentally booked a room for one person for me and my wife but that was no problem and we got a double room free of charge. Very hospitable place at 2 minutes walk from the old castle.

Stayed here for the second time, very clean hotel with all amenities. The people who run the hotel are fantastic, friendly, polite and always available. It is ideally located a few steps from the beach and the square with shops for food and drink, near the castle and there's free parking across the road. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when around.

Very nice house at a very quiet hill overlooking Methoni. It is close to the town and to the beach, but you still need to have a car. Panos, the host, was very polite and welcoming. It was great that the house is very well taken care of, not the kind where some things are broken, some barely work etc. Overall, we had a great time and would love to go back sometime.
