I am about to travel back home from Achilles hotel Methoni. The Hotel is more of a family run guest house. All the staff are like a big family. Rooms are great. Very clean everywhere. Nothing is too much for them. Like all the other reviews I don't have a word of criticism. Short walk to beach. Around 10-11 Greek restaurants in the area. No Chinese or Indian restaurants and definitely no McDonald...

The Achilles is well situated at the centre of town right next to some fine restaurants. Staff are amazing and friendly. All in all a very relaxing experience. Rooms and facilities are all clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. Could barely hear any noise from other guests. Nearby attractions take a little energy however are nothing short of amazing 😍

An excellent small hotel that benefits from the customer care you rarely find. The owner Elene was outstanding and helped us with restaurant selections and places to go, arranging a really friendly and cheap taxi taxi driver. Room : very clean on arrival and cleaned every day. We have just returned from this lovely little family run hotel in Methoni. It is so friendly and serene so we feel quite refreshed. The rooms are very pleasant, the beds very comfortable, the air-conditioning is efficient and the maid service is very good. Lovely staff, clean and spacious room, great location. Not too crowded at this time of year (May into June); although the season hadn't started for many businesses, still plenty of choice for eating and drinking. (We found the mattress too firm, but this is down to individual preference.)

Only stayed one night. Amazing hotel clean, spacious room, lovely bathroom & Balcony. Staff so friendly & helpful. Breakfast was really good. Could not fault it. Definitely stay again.

Lovely setting, recently refurbished, very helpful staff. Comfortable bedrooms and fantastic shower! Would definitely rebook.

Newly built place with good plumbing and water pressure. Breakfast is average, filling but not very varied. The wifi is slow to return, but quite fast on the cable. The room has rj45 sockets, patch cord can be requested at the reception. Excellent view from the balcony and terrace to the valley, the bay and the ancient fort.

Perfect place to relax. A beautiful hotel at the beach and very close to town center. Very nice staff!

End of season…. 25degree centigrade, not too many people, I have the feeling I am at the arse of the world…

Incredibly helpful staff - good breakfast. Our a/c was out of oder but everything was done to help the situation. A new a/c was ordered. In the meantime we have been given a fan to help with the heat. The location is magical the castle nearby makes for stunning views at all hours.

Good place to stop for a few days. Family run hotel, good room and price and the location was fantastic. The only downside and not the hotels fault was a very bright light shining on the beach and also into my room.

Excellent location and sea view. The beach is in front of the hotel and it is very clear and shallow, ideal for kids. The rooms are outdated, but it did not matter for me. The minus was that we booked a room with breakfast, and both the 2 days there was nothing left to eat when we were going to the breakfast buffet. As I understand, they never renew it.

Great views, great beach, nice places to eat.

The best hotel in Methoni. We stayed there with our 2 kids for 10 days. They are renovating and the new elevator was the best thing to do it. Big thanks to Mary and George ❤

Beautifull see view Hotel next to the long beach of Methoni, just restructured. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation in Greece.

Alex Hotel is a very nice, clean and friendly accommodetion. It has fantastic balconies seeing the sea. Giorge and Mary are worn hosts.

One of the best points for sea view in Methoni. Try waffle with chocolate. Pizza is also good. If Yiannis is in the beach bar don't forget to try Mohito.

Welcome from the host was great, the room had all the necessary things, the breakfast however was exceptional, we have rarely been treated to such a breakfast feast, fresh orange juice, home made bread, fresh cakes, Greek Yoghurt (of course) fresh fruit, jams, honey, spread, tea or coffee, eggs, all very tasty. A wonderful welcoming small Greek hotel. Rooms were lovely, beds so comfortable (which is not often the case in Greece)and bed linens excellent quality. The breakfasts were superb, homemade bread and deserts. Would definitely stay there again.

I've just come back from a wonderful week at the Ulysses Hotel. It is an amazing hotel: wonderful breakfasts, comfortable rooms and such a friendly welcome from Nikos and the whole team. It is a mini paradise! I can't wait to come back.

Enormously friendly and thoughtful host. Accidentally booked a room for one person for me and my wife but that was no problem and we got a double room free of charge. Very hospitable place at 2 minutes walk from the old castle.

Stayed here for the second time, very clean hotel with all amenities. The people who run the hotel are fantastic, friendly, polite and always available. It is ideally located a few steps from the beach and the square with shops for food and drink, near the castle and there's free parking across the road. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when around.

Very nice house at a very quiet hill overlooking Methoni. It is close to the town and to the beach, but you still need to have a car. Panos, the host, was very polite and welcoming. It was great that the house is very well taken care of, not the kind where some things are broken, some barely work etc. Overall, we had a great time and would love to go back sometime.

Nothing to complain about. A matter of personal taste, but the mattress was quite hard

Excellent villas with a breathtaking view of the sea and Methoni Castle. Furnished and internally decorated with impeccable taste and with all necessities for an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Excellent house, excellent service, excellent geographical location to explore south-west peloponnese. It's not a property by-the-sea but its service and the cuteness of this vacation house will give you ...a story to tell...!!! (We booked Villa 2)

Although it can serve 7 persons the equipment especially for kitchen is too limited.

Very nicely welcomed in a magnificent property that's very tastefully furnished and offers the full comfort of great infrastructure. Most enjoyable place, minutes away from a very nice family friendly beach.

This property is beautifully kept and maintained. Rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast is second to none and all homemade. The host, Panayiotis is lovely and speaks perfect English.

Our staying in this hotel was one of the best experience. Clean and spacious rooms, hospitable personnel from reception to the pool bar guys, who did whatever they could to service every guest. Moreover, the breakfast includes products for every preference , different every day and we were absolutely satisfied. I hope that we be back sometime soon.

Very nice hotel. Highly recommended. Also value for money and the staff was very kind. It's close to Foinikounta, Koroni and Methoni. It also has a lovely beach called Maurovouni. The breakfast was also very good.

Very good value for money option

We had an attic room which was quite spacious although the taller people kept banging their heads on the ceiling. Room had basic amenities. The hotel was very clean, the pool and surrounding area was lovely, there is a lot of outdoor seating and overall the place felt loved and well kept. Breakfast could be a little better but the bread was nice. A bit of a walk to the beach and not much shade...

The hotel is 50m from the main road and around 150m from the main street of the stores in Finikounta. If you decide to go to a nearby beach it won't take you more than 7 minutes to arrive and 15 minutes in total to reach Methoni. Now, the hotel is beautiful, we took the room in the loft where the bathroom was big and modern with all the accessories. The room itself had a refrigerator, tv a closet and...

Very spacious clean rooms with a beautiful view. The hotel staff were very hospitable, accommodating our requests. The breakfast buffet is huge with a big variety of delicious delicacies and it is served in the hotel garden area. An excellent choice for Finikounda visitors!

This hotel is a MUST! I had an amazing experience at Panorama Resort and would definitely recommend it! The hotel is at a great location, the rooms are very spacious and clean, the food is delicious and what really stands out is the amazing staff; everyone I encountered made sure to go over and beyond to make my experience very enjoyable. The hotel is in a very quiet place , close to the church and away from the center nois but it is not far away because the village is small. The sea is a minute away and all the rooms has balcony and a privet entrances . For sure I will come back .

Found this place via google. Was in Gargalini and wanted a different place and omg I didn’t regret it. Super friendly staff and omg the rooms or so cheap and super clean and comfortable . Google maps is useless to take you here but call the hotel and they will Give you directions. It’s a little tricky at first but worth the hassle. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. A few minutes walk to taverns...

Very helpful and kind staff. Clean, quiet and spacious rooms. Walking distance to taverns and bars. Breakfast could be enriched with more options but we were happily served in our room during our stay due to the local lockdown. Overall, totally recommended.

Wonderful, spacious rooms with nice outdoor spaces and a deep swimming pool. The beach is only a few minutes walk, as well as the restaurants and bars of the area. Very friendly staff. Recommended for families (we came here with a toddler) as there is room to play around. Good location to explore the area as it is in between the main landmarks of the region. Highly recommended.

Although I may not have chosen the hotel room from the booking photos, the room was very nice looking. The pool and the decoration are simple and sea related, the whole hotel seems like an small island village and the staff is very polite.

The hotel is amazing, the staff is very friendly. It’s very close to the street with all the restaurants! I highly recommend the hotel! The villas give the feeling that you are on a Cyclades Island! The view from the balcony is great!
