Friendly staff at taverna, the beach is one of the best locations in Nydri if you are looking for a shade, plenty of the trees providing natural protectionfrom the sun. Sunbeds £5 for the day.

Rooms are simple and basic but more than comfortable enough, with nice balcony, good air-conditioning and bathrom/shower facilities.

Lovely small, friendly hotel right on the beach. Short stroll along the beach to numerous restaurants. Early May is perfect if you want peace and quiet and empty sun loungers! We swam in the sea most days, surrounded by a wonderful view of mountains and wooded islands.

Last time there 2014 and showers were bit out of date, they still are. Single person rooms dont have sun shade what makes balcony hot. Breakfast is same every morning not fun on long term week+. Just returned after a brilliant week at The Oasis Hotel. George and his family were very welcoming. He went above and beyond for us, driving us down to the ferry when no taxi was available. We had a small room with sea view and with the biggest terace. We liked the every day cleaning. Bedsheets and towels change at 3 days. We slept very well. You can see the attention in every detail of the hotrl/room . We had a small fridge, air conditioning, hairdryer and a and a boiler for tea. George & the team are fabulous. Lovely hotel & great location near the beach. If you don't mind 1km to more restaurants then fine, otherwise I would recommend renting a car.

I was passing by on my holiday trip around Greece. I had the opportunity to stay at this amazing location. the minute we arrive to the room we received a certificate of sanitation for the room. The staff is very friendly, the food is really good. They have cut down some services due to covid 19 but everything even the chairs of the restaurant are being sanitized.

Great place for a relaxing getaway with kids. The view from our room out to the sea was breathtaking. The staff was very helpful. Close to many restaurants and attractions. The poll is large and deep, along with shallow spot for young children. There is also a small playground consisting on a slide and swings which my 4yr old and 1yr old enjoyed very much. Would highly recommend this place.

Really a great spot on a beautiful bay, BUT the influence of the nearby camping owned by the same men, is irritating. Each night youngsters are hanging around the building till 2 or 3 o'clock. It's kept clean every day and people are kind👍

I had a big problem with the guests, most of them foreigners who had no sense of social surroundings shouting all the time, yelling as if they were the only people there. Easily the best resort I have ever stayed at. Clean, quiet, peaceful, comfortable, beautiful view, and a great host. We have driven around the island for a week and we haven’t seen a resort we would rather stay at. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice rooms, cleaned every day. The balcony is a bit small and the chairs and table are outdated. A very noisy fridge that woke us up at night - these are the only drawbacks. Everything else was excellent, the ladies at the reception were helpful and kind. We would definitely return to the hotel.

I, traveling with a toddler, must say that This was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had staying at a hotel. George, who works the front desk, was so helpful and so kind to all of our needs. Well located in Vasiliki centre, next to all restaurants and the port, from where we went to Kefalonia next. We had a huge balky, although we didn't use it - nature an beaches around are stunning, no need to be home =))
