Hotel Yakinthos

During our recent trip to Katerini, we had the pleasure of staying at the Yakinthosh Hotel, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service.

The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the modern amenities.

The dining experience at Yakinthosh was truly memorable, thanks to Yanish, the gracious host at the hotel’s diner. Yanish’s warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. He has a genuine passion for hospitality, taking the time to ensure each guest has a wonderful dining experience.

Bathrooms are a bit small, the rooms are comfortable, the terraces have great view to the sea.

Very good hotel, clean rooms and delicious food!

Thank you for the warm welcome, especially to the manager who took care of us from beginning to end! The hotel is near the beach, near the center and all taverns!

Lovely hotel with superb service, a short walk from the beach.

Location: Short walk from the beach. Separate from the town, so very peaceful and quiet. Parking available in the streets around the hotel.
Room: Spacious, nicely furnished. Ours had e huge terrace, which was lovely. The bathroom was good enough with a good shower.
Cleanliness: Superb. Daily room cleanup with fresh towels. The common areas were spotless.
Staff: Superb. Everyone was extremely helpful and accomodating.
Facilities: Swimming pool, well maintained and clean. Sunbeds, umbrellas and a pool bar. All good. Restaurant, with very good food at a decent price.

I was on a colony with a choir of goldfinches from Poland for 9 days, I spent them in a nice atmosphere and friendly service. you eat as much as you want for breakfast and for lunch and dinner you have a buffet. The beach is a few steps from the hotel, so we visited it every day. For our trip we got lunchboxes that were enough for 25 hours of travel.

What not to like. Rooms are better than in the pictures, place is quite new and well maintained, they have a nice pool and area for sunbathing, big restaurant with decent breakfast and sometimes thematic evenings with live music. But the music from the restaurant is not reaching the rooms, so you can have a good sleep if this is what you need. Not to forget, the man who never sleeps, the waiter from the hotel and restaurant was always there and even though, sometimes he was probably not getting enough sleep, he was always taking care that everything is in place and guests have a nice stay. Oh, and there is enough space to park you car just next to the hotel, on the streets. Oh, and it is clean, it really is.
