Hotel Ziakis

Yes it's up the hill and slightly outside town but the views are stunning. Really relaxed staff who were happy to help whenever asked. The goat track added a bit of adventure walking into town so all good.

Pleasant accommodation with a decent pool. Comfortable bed. Big breakfast. Nice coffee. Staff very friendly & accommodating. Spectacular views in the day & night.

Just returned from a last minute cheap holiday and pressed confirm before reading ALL the reviews. Once confirmed and put all the reviews in order, we started to panic and tried to change. We decided to just go and see, and move if necessary.
DONT BE ALARMED... Yes the hotel is on a steep hill, hence the spectacular views of the town and bay. Not too bad walking into town, but for €6 you can get a taxi. Our room was see view and the view was outstanding. Our air-conditioning worked, and our sheets and towels changed 3x in a week. Pool was clean, however you could hardly hear any music and the food was eatable. The staff were friendly and we had no issues. So glad we didn't change. I'll be honest, I'll probably not return, but that's just due to the atmosphere around the pool and bar. We did however meet some canny couples around the pool. But I tell you what, we got a bargain at £300 each for a week. You couldn’t get a caravan for that in the UK. So put that into perspective. If I'd paid much more, I probably wouldn't be happy.

What a great little hotel. 4 days relaxing in the sun, a stones throw from the town and restaurants.. not really ideal for kids as they'd get quite bored but if you just want to relax on your own or as a couple like we did, this is perfect. Rooms are basic, no TV but didn't really bother us, but there's a l shower and air con. There is WiFi, The Food downstairs by the pool is great for snacking during the day, I recommend the Gyros, chicken or pork are both great along with the Greek salad. We came for only 4 days so could experience much of the town but will definitely come back in future and look to stay at this hotel again,

Hotel is situated up a very steep hill and is some distance from bars, beaches and restaurants. Views are excellent. Nice buildings and pool. Rooms are clean and well maintained but poorly equipped

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Staff are amazing and all speak good English. They make everybody's holiday special. Thanks to Anna for the great food and Stavros and Renaldo for the great service and company. Was a pure pleasure to spend time there.

The Ziakis Hotel is a small family run hotel. It IS basic no frills. WiFi only in the reception and no TV in the room. BUT.... its has an amazing warm welcome from the staff and it's quiet and relaxing. The food in the snack bar is lovely and fresh cooked. Beer is cold. What more do you need?😁. It is at the top of a very very steep and long hill. It's OK to walk down, but a taxi is definitely needed to return. Not for anyone with mobility issues.
