Great location with friendly staff and very very clean. Very impressed and highly recommended
This hotel is in the center of town convenient to everything. Worked perfectly for us. Not luxurious or newly built but Clean and lovely, mid-century modern. The room was very clean, complimentary breakfast on second floor excellent, and whenever we had dinner at their restaurant, also best of quality and full plate.
Location: it was central for where we picked up our rental car for a Peloponnese road trip after arriving from Athens by public bus and had great restaurants and cafes nearby. You can walk to any Ancient Sparta ruins remaining and the Olive Museum. The room was fine - typical small room but accommodated me and my adult son with twin beds. Bathroom a bit small but a verandah you could sit on. Very clean...
The Maniatas Hotel is a conveniently and centrally-located comfortable and clean modern hotel that is great value-for-money. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for those wishing to visit the many historic attractions of Sparti, most of which are just a short walk away. The Archaeological Museum of Sparta - well worth a visit - is located just across the road, and...
Best place for Americans to go. Everyone there is either an American or Canadian who has repatriated to Greece. They have brought back with them the customer service and standards of those places. Very convenient in the middle of Sparta. Also, it has a great restaurant that even the locals frequent.
I would like to take the opportunity to write a review of my stay at MANIATI HOTEL Sparti Laconia . I unfortunately had a family matter and my husband had surgery at the local Hospital at Sparti. I stayed over 5 days at the hotel and the people were so polite, friendly and professional at what they did . From the moment the reception booked our room till the lovely security/staff checked us out and...

Good locatio.nice and clean rooms and good restaurant
The best hotel in Sparta. I have stayed there three times in the past four years, most recently this summer for three weeks. The rooms are meticulously kept and the staff is friendly, helpful and most accommodating. This is my "home away from home" when I am in the region.
Best hotel in Sparta! Friendly reception staff, fantastic house-keeping staff, amazing restaurant staff and all are very accommodating and helpful. Nice (outdoor) pool too :-)
Excellent hotel, fantastic staff always willing to help. No gym though and really terribly low internet speed.
Very nice and clean hotel. We stayed there for one night during last July. Impossible to open the window in our room without the fear of summer insects. There was no pests for insects on the window, at least in our room. Parking is a little problem, even though the staff always preserves parking places in front of the hotel. I believe that during peak season, with all the rooms full, than maybe it...

Nik is a great front desk person! Rented us a room, helped us find parking, gave us water, found a laundry mat, all at 9pm. Room is clean. Beds comfortable. Good location. Nearby restaurants. Reasonable price. 2 thumbs up
Centrally located in Sparta city. All necessities for a 3 star hotel. Value for money. Very helpful personel
Fantastic place and Nikos is the best 🌞🙏 ! Highly recommended 6*
Just across the street is the central square, where there are many restaurants and bars. The road downstairs is being repaired, so you have to walk a few more steps to park, but you can park anywhere on the roadside for free. The room balcony is nice, great for coffee and breakfast
Great room for 2 nights in Sparta visiting family. Close to restaurants. Room was perfect with no issues at all.

Nice hotel, very close to the center of the town. Needs improvement in the common areas (outdated). Excellent and spacious room with great balcony and view. Very clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast catered to your needs. Parking at the side of the road with no problems. Value for money.
Nice place to stay with nice workers. Great breakfast, it's worth the price! Love It.
Pleasant Almost city center Hotel, Unfortunately the room we were given needs immediate up date air-conditioning not working we froze it was full so they could not move us... Pleasant staff and management apologetic...
Stayed 1 night. Room was a bit dingy and smelled musty. There was a fridge in the room, but it was not working and smelled terrible. Bed was clean and comfy enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great hotel with limited parking. I put my motorbike by the front door which they seemed to be ok with, room is a bit small but it was perfect & the local area had clothes shops and great food so I walked around there for the evening and felt very safe. Bikers just be careful the roads are so smooth it’s like ice on the corners, I had my back wheel slide out twice at about 5mph 😬
Comfortable hotel. Small rooms but comfortable beds and a good night's sleep. The real highlight is the balconies, particularly if you can get one facing the mountains. A memorable way to watch a sunset with a glass of local wine in your hand.

I was kind of worried as the price is kind of low but what a pleasant surprise to find a nice and large open space. Clean kitchen. clean sheets, clean floor and clean bathroom with running hot water (I mention it because some reviews mention the lack of hot water but I guess they did not know how to switch it on: the kind of heating system is common in Greece ) It is located in a calm and big garden...
Magical place, great atmosphere, nice room. Good communication with the owner. Couldn't get the hot water to work (despite the instructions), but that's probably my fault. :D I enjoyed my stay very much and can recommend it.
Good for the price. The hot water situation was pretty lacking. The bathroom was a pretty standard Greek bathroom. And by that I mean it sprayed water all over the floor and had no fan or ventilation to dry the mess.

The mountainviews on the large balcony were fantastic! It was a very pleasant house with a nice seating and dinner area, even a machine for your laundry, an oven, and everything you can need. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny terrace outside. In the evening is was getting cold (end of october), there is no heating. You can park next to the entrance, don not drive down! Only 20 minutes from Sparta

Stunning location, resort is absolutely beautiful and rooms are luxurious. Breakfast is top notch, so much on offer We had dinner at the restaurant, shout out to our waiter Christos who was fabulous and made it a fun night!! Highly recommend.
This was our 6th night in the Peloponnese (group tour), so we had some experience with the quality of restaurants. Although the rooms, the facilities, as well as the breakfast in this hotel were excellent, the dinners were way below standard. The quality of the dishes and the efficiency of the waiters was 3* at most. This refers to the two evenings.
An excellent little resort very conveniently located near Mystras (a "must visit" landmark in the Peloponnese). We only stayed for 1 night but wished we had stayed longer. This is such a beautiful part of Greece. What stands out for me besides the tranquil resort grounds is the breakfast buffet. You know a hotel is all about quality when they run such an excellent buffet to accommodate a relatively...
I’m the midst of the high mountains lays a grand place. A great hotel with impeccable services. The rooms were clean and well kept. Pool was a vast area to cool off in. I would most definitely recommend to anyone visiting the historical city of Sparta. Overall 5/5 hands down!
What a phenomenal resort to stay!! We slept here for 2 nights and regrettably couldn’t stay longer. The resort opened in 2019 and is beautifully designed. It has 2 pools and plenty of beds. Staff is superfriendly and professional. Without a doubt the nicest hotel we stayed in in Greece!!
Best place I stayed in Greece. The property sits in a magical landscape, and overall scenery is out of this world. Service, food, amenities are just wonderful.

Breakfast was good. Iwas the only guest, so I could order what I wanted (bacon n eggs, toast, coffee). Host was very friendly. Spoke good English. Place is on Eastern edge of Mystras. Walking distance to town centre. I had a car, so I don't know about buses. Incredible vista of ancient Mystras. Good heated pool.
Nice camping next to Mystras. Good service and friendly staff.
A return after more than ten years on this camping. Our favourite spot was still available. Nicely situated between some olive trees to provide shadow and to host our hammock. Great pool to cool down after a hot day. Unfortunately the so called “new” sanitairy was already a bit worn out. Broken shower pipes caused a shower to the ceiling. And on the day we came there was no cleaning at all. Also the...
One of the best maintained campsites we have ever seen - and we travel a lot. Situated in an olive grove, lush lawn, shade and sun, no fixed sites/keine Parzellierung. Well kept pool. Beautiful Camping site which is very close to Sparta and Mystras. The owner is super nice and welcoming! I lost my phone on the way to town on the street and he drove all the way by his motor scooter to find my phone. I am truly grateful! Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay!

Very cozy pension. Elena is a fantastic host. She is super welcoming, offering a cold beer and fresh oranges upon arrival and after our long drive. The room is very spacious and nicely decorated. There is a water cooker, coffee and tea, as well as a fridge in the room. The pension has a terrace and private parking. Price quality is excellent!
Nice location 50 m from the main square. Lots of good family restaurants nearby. Lovely and friendly owners. Air conditioning in the room, nice and quiet. Very good to have a fridge in the room! Quick free wi fi. LOVED IT.
The apartment was right in the town square with a view of the archeological site from the large balcony. The rooms were clean, spacious with a fantastic bathroom. You could even turn around in the shower!!!

Great mid-range hotel at an affordable price well located for ancient Mystras. pros: the only big hotel in Mystras. the breakfast is nice, we met a romanian lady that is working there and we discussed a lot with her. she is lovely! the jam is nice and you have the opportunity to make yourself a fresh juice from oranges - not in all the hotels you can do this - most of them are buying from the supermarket. cons: I called the number as on booking it was placed in the center of...
Country like hotel with nice view from the balcony. With a bit dated bathroom. Otherwise room was spacious. What I found a little problematic was the entrance to the reception... There were at least 10 steps, so it is harder to move suitcase up to the hotel lobby. I liked that for breakfast you can make your own fresh orange juice 😃.
The location is absolutely perfect. You open the window and you have a gorgeous view of the castle. Breakfast was poor but employees were friendly polite and professional
Such a charming, authentic hotel and run by a local Mystras kind & caring family! Must stay. Great yard & quiet pool and lounge area. Recommend to all family & friends! Clean & great prices and awesome breakfast included with stay!

What an amazing stay!!! A charming monastery in a perfect garden, so well decorated, so clean, so quiet. Very fairy tale like experience. An absolutely incredible modern bathroom, quiet AC, nice beds. Did I mention quiet? Owner Maria is very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. We absolutely loved our stay. What a value. Thank you Maria!
A Surprising Delight. Either driving in, or an 8 euro taxi from the bus station which is about 10 minutes from Sparta center to the hotel front door, we weren't sure if we were at the hotel or not. Thinking back, looking at the classic greek door on a stone wall being the hotel entrance, I think the mystique of that adds true to the ancient surroundings, and I'm glad it is the way it is! Nicely located near the mountains. Great pool. The room was big, but dark, very outdated and unpractical. Even somewhat dangerous with the only available power socket located directly above the sink.
Outstanding location and property. Enjoyed our stay there. Wish staff spoke a bit more English.
We stayed here for one night and I wish it would have been longer…the staff was great, the rooms were very clean, the facility itself was unreal and extremely elegant. The pool was open late for us, the mountain and countryside view was so pretty and it was very peaceful. We ate at the onsite restaurant for dinner and every dish that came out had a presentation that was beyond 5 Star.

Lovely place. The food was great. I really enjoyed the musaka. This was a good stop after an unforgettable visit to the mystras fortress and palace.
We had a great lunch at Mystras Inn. The inn is located in the center of the small town. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I read some of the reviews that said the food was poor or in small portions. I actually had a grate experience here. I ate the best tzatziki and lamb chops that i ever had in Greece in all the years that i visited. 5⭐️ from me!
Pros. We had a very good room, on the second floor of a stone house looking out to the Byzantine fortress hill. This hotel was very cool and clean! The room was super spacious with an amazing view and balcony. The staff were so kind and the breakfast brought to our room was very delicious and filling. We would definitely recommend and stay again if we were to come back to town.
This is a very charming boutique hotel with a nice pool and lovely views. The breakfast was outstanding! The best food of our trip to the Peloponnese. The bread is home baked and it was clearly a farm to table experience. It’s within walking distance to local tavernas.
This was the sixth hotel that we stayed at in our 14 day tour (2 nights) and the object was to visit Mystras Not easy to find but well worth the effort ! Fantastic views over the plain to Sparti. Huge room with unconventional furnishings. All very clean and the service was good. Breakfast was pre-ordered the day before and brought to your room in a basket.
