This hotel is in the center of town convenient to everything. Worked perfectly for us. Not luxurious or newly built but Clean and lovely, mid-century modern.
The room was very clean, complimentary breakfast on second floor excellent, and whenever we had dinner at their restaurant, also best of quality and full plate.

Staff always destroy somebody's business. Here is was so clean room, so good view and the same so bad staff. At the beginning neither Hello, only after us to do it and then: your room is on the 2nd floor. That's all. Nothing more. Neither asked me if I need help bringing baby and suitcases, neither any other information. When I was in the elevator, I heard: have a good stay!
In the restaurant the same. With very unhappy faces, dropping the dishes with noise and discussing their problems. I understand greek and i didn't want to listen their problems.
So, my conclusion - bad staff makes me never return here.

Very clean and updated and the desk clerk was helpful. The rooms are small, but adequate for 1 or 2 people. I had 3 so it was very tight and the air conditioning was completely inadequate. This is the first hotel I've been in with central control of the thermostat, so forget the control panel in the room it's just a display. The lowest setting allowed was 22 Celsius, but did not kick in cooling until hitting 24 Celsius. The result was one of the most miserable nights I've ever had in a hotel laying on top of the bed sweating. I do NOT recommend this place. I'm making sure to pass this along to the tour company Cosmos.

Location: it was central for where we picked up our rental car for a Peloponnese road trip after arriving from Athens by public bus and had great restaurants and cafes nearby. You can walk to any Ancient Sparta ruins remaining and the Olive Museum. The room was fine - typical small room but accommodated me and my adult son with twin beds. Bathroom a bit small but a verandah you could sit on. Very clean with comfy beds.

I found the hotel beautifull and the personal was very nice with us we were in the Restaurant was very good but I think the portion were very very big! But i find the hotel Maniatis very nice and I hope that I will be back!!

Nice and clean hotel. The restaurant seems to serve a mix of Italian and Greek food. The location is perfect, with a taxi place across the street and the main KTEL bis station less than a 10 minute walk away. My room was clean, but not big. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Don't let its rather ancient look deceive you, the interior is great and modern, the staff extremely helpful, its room very clean and spacy, breakfast delicious. At 65 euros per night for a twin bed room, the hotel is simply unbeatable against any other in Europe.

The Maniatas Hotel is a conveniently and centrally-located comfortable and clean modern hotel that is great value-for-money. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very convenient for those wishing to visit the many historic attractions of Sparti, most of which are just a short walk away. The Archaeological Museum of Sparta - well worth a visit - is located just across the road, and the Archaeological Site of Ancient Sparta is less than a kilometre away. There are many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets located just a short stroll from the hotel, and the hotel boasts a very nice restaurant of its own. The breakfast provided is also great! No parking is provided by the hotel, but street parking was not a problem during my stay.

Decent rooms with a quite acceptable AC with a great deal of options for both temperature and intensity. Wifi's acceptable, just about good enough for some video streaming. The breakfast and lunch was surprisingly filling and of decent quality.
