We were here in the beginning of March, 2024. The hotel is absolutely great, the rooms are perfect, clean, nice and spacious. We upgraded our standard room to a deluxe one and it was worth the money. The food is super good, wide range of different hot and cold dishes at breakfast and a feast at dinner. The staff was really kind and helpful. We absolutely loved this hotel.

If you want a Michelin-star experience at a reasonable price this place is a must!!!We dropped our jaws once the dishes have arrived as they were so beautifully served.I can't praise enough their chef and the whole staff😍The surrounding area is just an additional perk,let's not forget that the Hotel is located in Holloko😀

Excellent... almost perfect hotel; quality of the evening meal buffet was absolutely above any other 4 or 5***** hotels, beyond exceptional, breakfast buffet amongst the best for Hungary. Location and surroundings, staff all really on the game, spot on - possibly the best staffed hotel out of all 4 and and 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Great location on the top of the village with amazing views from the room. We had the spacious family suit. Very kind staff at reception, as well as in the restaurant. Super selection of breakfast, typical Hungarian dishes and many local produce from local smallholders, great tastes. Same applies on buffet dinner, flavours and variety more than sufficient. Nice and clean wellness area, pool with jets...

Great for two-days city escape. Nice tradition, when baker leaves fresh bread at your doors at early morning. The only thing was that there were no coverage at the top of the staircase - seen very dangerous for families with small kids. And be aware - a bell from the nearby church will wake you up at 5am :)

During our time here, we had a wonderful time travel. We can live in an authentic cottage that is more than 100 years old. Entering the kitchen, we were always greeted by pleasant warmth, the built-in stove made us forget that there is actually central heating in the house. It was an island of peace and relaxation. We'll be back one day, in another season!

We arrived with two dogs in the courtyard of "Hollóköves Vendégházak Oláh Külső ház". I stayed here on my long distance hike through Hungary. It was a nice opportunity to spend a night in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage village of Hollókö. My house had quaint original furniture but modern sanitation facilities. A restaurant was nearby. The castle is also not far, as well as the many little museums of the village. The breakfast in the nearby bistro was well arranged. I enjoyed...

On November 4, we arrived at the restaurant 1 hour before closing time, and were greeted by a pleasant welcome. Everything we chose from the menu was available and ready quickly. Friendly service, family atmosphere.

The Jókai bean soup and venison ragu soup were very tasty and plentiful. The service was quick. There was a lot of traffic, so we could only squeeze in a less cozy table.

We stopped by for lunch with our Australian guest. Great food (Jókai bean soup, strapacska with sheep curd), attentive service, coffee served in a regular porcelain cup, I can only recommend it. Our guest said that even his Hungarian mother can't cook such delicious bean soup :-) ...

We only stopped in for a late lunch, we had very nice service. The food was delicious, but I didn't expect much anyway. The side dish needs to be practiced, but it is not an inedible category. The lemonade was delicious. The price-value ratio is completely correct and we especially thank you for the live music!

There is no or little Wi-Fi in the building. The washbasin lacked a mirror for shaving. Overall calm, totally suitable for tourists.

Kind and helpful staff, skewering, cooking facilities, parking in the yard, cool walls due to the thick walls, even in summer, very good excursion places within easy reach of the accommodation.

Now on Pentecost weekend we were with my partner for 3 days 2 nights. The breakfast and dinner would have been in the bean soup inn 4km away but since we were not brought home by car, they were very decent. The wood-burning iron stove came in very handy because it was good to collect after a rainy hike. They even exposed lighters and paper to Us, they were very attentive. The air was pleasant, calm...
