Beautiful location, charming hotel, clean, staff friendly and helpful. One of my companions, however, was disappointed in the quality of the food and miserliness of the servings. I don't agree on that, though.

The tallest mountain in the whole Tuscany. Great views if you hike it.

What an amazing experience! The Fabbrini family made us feel so welcome and food was exceptional. Such a beautiful spot, we’ll be back!

Decent, cost effective place, not far from the hot water springs.

We stayed one night while passing through the area. The hotel has free onsite parking. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an Italian breakfast included with coffee, juice, an assortment of brioche and baked goods, yogurt, fruit and a small assortment of meat and cheese. We had everything we needed for a nights stay.

We stayed for one week in Hotel Fabbrini in Abbadia San Salvatore, situated near the old city center. It had a big parkingarea. The rooms are large, good beds and shower. There is an excellent breakfast buffet, free wifi. Personel is very kind and did there utmost to make our stay a very pleasant one. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to return next year. Great hotel! Located in the center of the town with its own parking area. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and big. There is a great breakfast witch is served every morning with various juices, cakes and coffee. They also serve lunch and dinner and it is nice to have a beer in the evening at the bar. Really a recommendation to stay for anyone who would like to visit Tuscany...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. With attention to details. Quiet neighborhood and blooming crocuses made a very good impression. Perfect place for digital nomads. Internet connection is very good!

Had a fantastic stay here. Me and my friend rode here on our motorcycles and Enrico, the hotel manager gave us some fantastic routes to follow through the forest – The area is absolutely stunning. He really made our trip, and even went above and beyond to create a custom scenic route on Google Maps for us to follow on our onward journey to Sienna. Highly recommend, especially for bikers!

Great place to relax into the nature of the south of Tuscany

I had dinner at the restaurant, with a nice mushroom-based menu. The place is simple, but tidy, mountain style, the staff is kind, aware and prepared. Excellent menu, even with off-menu delicacies. Right account. An excellent and advisable solution for those who pass or stay on Monte Amiata.

We stayed at this hotel on the first weekend of September. Initially we intended to stay one night and move elsewhere on the second day, but we decided to stay also the second night thanks to the excellent experience given by the courtesy and kindness of the owner, always present and available for any eventuality or advice. I have been there since I was in the area on business. I did not find myself bad, but if you are "a little robust" like me, ask for a room that has a shower, at least, of normal sizes ....... I then highly recommend the property to equip the rooms with a mini fridge , above all because the bar is not always chaired, perhaps increasing the price of the room a little. The management compared to past years has changed ... And definitely for the better! We eat very well both fish and pizza and the rooms have been renovated. Definitely recommended!

Excellent cuisine where you can eat good fish on Monte Amiata, but also pizza and many other local dishes with excellent value for money.

It was a wonderful experience. Professionalism from employees excellent service and fabulous area. I had heard about it not too well but now that management has changed I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go to rest and live in clean air. I will go there again

we stayed with the family for a weekend on the snow we found an excellent welcome, a very warm atmosphere and a truly exquisite dinner .... we suggest the tasting of their appetizers, numerous and delicious we'll be back for sure in the spring

We spend every year a long weekend with my wife in a romantic and intimate place without our kids. My had chosen this plan last time. And it was a 100% perfect choice. All details were just great. I am writing in advance of our stay to commend the service of everyone on the team. I called to talk to the front desk abut upgrading my room and for the first time in my life I was disuaded, being told that I have already booked a stunning room. Had a great experience here in this beautiful castle in the Tuscan hills. We loved the meals in the restaurants. Superb food and fantastic wines, and great service from the staff. My wife took full advantage of the spa and pool. Would love to go back.

The hotel is beautiful, but there is something off about this place. You should check out the ghost of Velona. I felt like a cash cow more than a guest. Transfer provided by car service €110 each way as compared to €30 to €70 by private car. Why would they do this? They also take a piece of restaurants they booked for me. It’s fine. Not worth more than that. Truly not worth even the review. Incredibly expensive for sub par food, a lackluster concierge, little to no service, rude staff. However, I will note, Domenico and the cooking class was the only highlight! Last thing - don’t pay for a suite with a terrace, the doors do not open but somehow still allowed water in when it rained. Not sure.

Without a doubt a stunning location and beautiful property (exterior). Rooms and breakfast felt as thought they fell short of the price point being charged. the whole experience was unforgettable. An enchanted place of incredible beauty. I would like to make a special mention of Agostino's massages. He has magic in his hands. during the massage I had visions, like those you have during meditation and he was so good that at a certain point I had the sensation that there were three people massaging me instead of one.

Many hotels in Tuscany were closed and it was hard to find this one. When I checked in, the waiter introduced that it was left by the Medici family. There was also a picture introduction. It was an unexpected surprise. The room was fully heated and spacious, and the window opened to see the valley view. Check in There is a welcome card and gift box on the day, and breakfast is available.

We chose this accommodation as it is just a few minutes to the Fondeverde Spa. Very impressed with accommodation, restaurant and cafe on site. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant.

We dined at the restaurant. Great food, lovely service and nice Antinori Chianti Classico to drink. It was busy (Saturday night) and I think reservation in advance would be prudent. Highly recommended, we will return if in the area again.

Pucci makes you feel like part of the family with her generous manner and amazing food. The apartment was tidy and comfortable for all four of us to relax. The close towns of Pitigliano and Orvieto offered exploring and countryside to view close at hand. Loved our cooking lesson and meal with wines selected from the region. We'll be back again.

I loved the stay here. The owners are lovely and the food is among the best I tried in Italy. It was nice to have different and delicious alternatives than just pasta. Is In fact an unique experience, in every sense. The visit to the castle is something that adds value to the experience and what better guides than the owners themselves :) We will come back.

A beautiful property. We stayed in a little apartment, our breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. The owners are a lovely couple, very welcoming. The hotel's pool and restaurant are an oasis in the forest just below the wall. The only drawback was no AC when we stayed in July, but they do have heat for cold weather visits.

Super cosy hotel. We stayed here only 1 night but wished we stayed more. We got upgraded for a bigger room. We were greeted with tea and coffee and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of things. The breakfast is served in a different building. You have to cross the town, which is a great opportunity for you to see it as well.

Had a one night stay in Bologna and was surprised by the great quality of this hotel. The only negative was the defective or badly installed water pump of our room's AC unit kicking pretty loudly at night. In summary I can highly recommend a stay.

Well managed space with different pools and an amazing park where you can relax. Most of all is really clean and well maintained. Water make your skin softer, I don't know if it is thermal but I felt like this nice effect. I would surely recommend

Nice camp ground. We have been there for two nights with our tent. They have a lot camping spots there and also a nice grass area where one may camp. In September there weren’t many people so we had free choice for our spot. They have three pools but when we were there only one was open. The pool area looked a little outdated and might need some renovation. All other facilities are in really good shape...

Excellent camping place. Areas are spacious and there's lots of green decoration. Toilets and showers are very good, no coins needed. Three swimming pools offer sufficient options. Big playground areas, and a nice historic village within 5 minutes walking distance. Restaurant has big menu and decent prices. The surroundings are perfect for hiking and cycling.

I had the most perfect stay at Palazzo del Capitano! The hotel is truly a gem, you walk in and you are transported into a fairy tale. The staff is outstanding and Lorenzo makes you feel so welcomed and at home. The hotel is family owned and the owners are so lovely and their love truly shines around the property. It provides a very unique medieval experience. The staff is attentive. The family's idea of ​​renovating this village and building hotels is quite interesting, it's well worth seeing, but after a day or two, there's not much to do.

Unfortunately, this accommodation charges 20 euros per night for the dog, which is totally overkill for a small dog. A one-time final cleaning of 20 euros would be completely sufficient. Better a little fewer frills, but reasonable prices for rooms and pets.

We stayed in one of the many satellite structures ... very spacious rooms but absolutely invaded by mosquitoes and no air conditioning. It is advisable to at least put mosquito nets on the windows so as to open the windows in the evening and not to spend the night hunting mosquitoes

We had a good 1-night stopover at La Gustea Hotel on our way from Sicily to Milan. A smaller family hotel, a pleasant owner, luxurious rooms and a gorgeous modern bathroom, the hotel is equipped with an elevator. The reason I only give 4 stars and not 5 is that I would have liked a functional wifi connection in the room in a 4 star hotel, the internet looked like it was and the speed was comparable to the 90s with a 50kb modem connection, 2 key cards should be given for the family...

We „had“ to stay there because our car broke down in the middle of the road from Rome to Firenze. Very good hotel in Chianciano Terme, now has passed superior category 4 stars!!! I suggest you this for your holiday. Staff very friendly and professional, good food with international choises menu, nice swimming-pool and outside american bar!!
