Hotel Alla Posta

The problem described below by the lady is real. I was a wittness at a similar situation in the hotel.The employees of the hotel have discriminative attitude toward elder or disabled people and the answer the hotel gives to that lady, shows that it has been no improvement. For instance the cleaning lady ordered 2 old ladies not to use the elevator for just one floor! The hotel is stuffed with heads of dead animals. It is scarry! It seems they do not live in the Europe of the 21th century. I noticed also there were flies in the hotel and especially in the restaurant/the breakfast room. Prices of the hotel are in general overrated but there are many accomodations opportunity in the area that are more civilised and respectful toward the client. In conclusion, untill they change the attitude and perhaps the personnel, it is a place to avoid.

The worst hotel I've ever been to. The food was really disguisting and there were barely any vegetarian options. It was an exact opposite of what you might expect from an Italian restaurant.

The rooms were also terrible. Nothing was working properly- light bulbs, central heating regulation etc. Everything was old and disgusting, there was no good taste in the furnishing and etc.

I also definitely don't recommend this hotel for families with children. The staff was very unkind and our children were forbidden going into the swimming pool area because apparently they were too loud. There were also multiple situations when the manager of the hotel just shouted at the children.

Also, as we were visiting the hotel for the first time, we were highly discriminated in comparison to guests who apparently have been coming here for 30 years (btw I don't know why would anyone come back to this place for such a long time). For example, during dinner, the old guests were finishing their desserts, while we would still be waiting for the first course.

To conclude, I really don't recommend Hotel alla Posta. The standard of the hotel definitely doesn't meet the 4 stars. I would say that this hotel is rather a 2-star one.
