Enjoyed a very pleasant stay 👍
It is perfect located, walking d8stance to the main places.
The Hotel is 4 stars, very cosy and elegant. We had to park outside the historical area and walk through the cobbled streets with the bags. We were specifically touched by a Mr. Mario working there. Intelligent, heart-warming and helped us a lot with changing a room. There are very many constructions right now in the historical centre and it is very loud and the noise and closed streets should be...
Very pleasant experience in this hotel, the staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Strong recommend to everyone.
Let me start out by saying getting to the Hotel is not the easiest. The hotel will send you a message telling you to call when you get to the area and they will guide you in a GPS will not navigate inside the city. What the message should include is "Via Vittorio Veneto, 44, 70022 Altamura BA, Italy" this is the entrance. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and helpful. Valet parking...
Very difficult to get to the hotel if driving, however, staff was very helpful in getting us there

Fantastic facilities. Went for an Apulian wedding and the scenery is unforgettable. The various halls for the aperitif are great, a beautiful outside terrace that we barely visited thanks to a heavy rain, great dinner hall. Overall it was a fantastic place!
Very nice and elegant location, good service, good food. Kind and helpful owners.

Nice modern hotel in a new calm residential area with smart rooms design (junior suite can host a family of 3 persons), spotless clean and very well equipped, gentle and helpful staff and decent breakfast. Recommended when you plan to visit Altamura historic center or sassi de Matera.
the rooms are big and comfortable, everything is clean and the food is good. The staff is super friendly :) I highly recommend the place
Extremely spacious and clean rooms and outstanding service. Bravo!
Great modern hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will stay here again. Highly recommend.

I slept in the hotel and had a great time. Mr. Angela very courteous, made me feel at home. A good breakfast to start the day right. I advise.
5 stars for Angela, very good on every aspect, she is the backbone of this hotel. As for the structure, as we have been told, it will be fixed for 2021, some renovation work will certainly give it an even more pleasant appearance. Happy to have been hosted, and to have been recommended by Angela for our stay.
I was on a bike trip through South Italy. Stayed in this hotel for a day, fixed my bike thanks to the owner's son, had a good time in the town. Nice small hotel, comfy beds and good chilled atmosphere. They treated me with a shot of 'Padre Peppe' before my departure. That was a blast! :-)

Hotel is cheap and good enough
I stay one night in this hotel. The room was big and comfortble, full accessorized. The breakfast was very Good.
The rooms are set up like a motel, spacous, clean, moden, with 2 A/C, fridge and seating area. Views are of open countryside which does mean you need a car to get to it although the town is only 1km or so away. The price is excellent value for money. Only marked it down as some ouside painting on steps could lift the look. We also ate dinner in the restaurant and although it was nice and cooked well...

Beautiful hotel. Room is spacious and the cleanest amongst the 4 hotels of similar level we stayed during this trip. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, the beef entree looked unimpressive but surprisingly it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection served piping hot. Breakfast could be better with more varieties. The only issue is if you want to exchange your towel the answer is a rude “no” which...
New and well equipped hotel, with spa, breakfast and lot of facility Good parking But all are extra-charge Room is nice, cozy and clean but so hot. Couldn’t control the heath from room and iI was awaken in the middle of night because of to much heat I book the hotel especial for spa but Suprise .., is with extra charge. Modern hotel. But without **** treatment. The staff had the cordiality and friendliness of the barracks from ex communist states. We really didn't feel welcome... No smile or friendly word at breakfast. We were here in autumn so the outdoor pool was closed. We had to pay 30 euros for the indoor pool and wellness (90 min), which we didn't. The first time we experienced this. NOT RECOMMENDED if you want...
We took 17 of our customers on a Southern Italy trip. We stayed in four hotels through out our trip, this was our least favorite. Here are dome of the reasons why: -Place looked a little disheveled. We believe the building and grounds were under construction and the hotel did the best they could to hide it. -The bar tender our first night had a limited menu on the drinks he could create. He told...
Usual hotel for simple stay. Nice pool, but not very friendly personell. No signs about pools and no one to explain the rules. Good brakfast.
Facilities were great, but a bit of a palaver to access the garden. Once there, fabulous. Swimming you have to pay towels and a swimming cap! On arrival the bar area was commandered by a baptism party and ended with a loud disco!! Breakfast choice was abundant, but the coffees ended up being lukewarm by the time you got to your table. The rooms were really well equipped

Beautiful tranquil, clean and tastefully decorated hotel set in the middle of the countryside yet close to the amazing town of Matera. We had a delicious dinner and made much use of the delightful pool and the lovely walks through the fields gave the dog plenty of exercise.
My husband and I stayed in the Bubble Room at Tenuta Danesi, and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had. Sleeping under the stars is simply indescribable — magical in every way — and Tenuta managed to deliver so much more than we ever imagined. Beautiful building in a peaceful location, in the middle of a grain growing property. Generous sized, tastefully decorated, well kept & clean room. Comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast included. Beautiful pool & lounging outdoor area. Would be a gorgeous spot for a function

Well locate, nice rooms, clean, good breakfast.
Clean, new, convenient and super nice staff
It was exceptionally clean and well presented. The hospitality and service was top class. Lovely breakfast, comfy beds and quality air-con made for a good nights rest. A bit out of town, however only a 10min walk or 2min drive from the bus stop & or train station. Also only about €10 cab ride to the city if that's more convenient. Would highly recommend.
Clean and stylish. Good free parking! Breakfast was nice. Hotel was kind of isolated from the downtown / sassi area with no food options in a walkable distance which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Staff was great.
Rooms are clean and modern. I can't remember having met a friendlier staff in all my years of travel. We got great dinner recommendations. It's outside the central part of town by 3 km, a 30-40 min walk or a 10€ taxi ride. The also have a nice breakfast that's included.

This resort hotel is so beautiful. It is convenient to drive here. It is ten minutes away from Matera scenic spot. We were treated to champagne when we checked in. It’s a gorgeous hotel, absolutely beautiful view. It’s a great location. It’s a small & cozy place, not loud or over crowded. The owner, staff & breakfast were great. We would definitely come back.
Stay here for the view alone. Only a couple of rooms in a great location (just around the corner from the Michelin star restaurant, Vitantonio Lombardo Ristorante and close to a great bar ( and pizza joint (bella vista matera). Rooms were very modern, spacious and clean but still in the Matera grotto style.
Style in the stone, but not as good as pictured and difficult access. You have to park in the new city and take a shuttle in. Wonderful staff, fabulous location. Good breakfast. Rooms need updating and desperately needs maintenance.
Good storage for our bicycles, helpful staff, extravagant breakfast with great coffee, location very close to the old town but out of the mayhem and convenient for access to shops and services.
Perfect location for a visit in Matera. Underground parking with elevator so easy to load and unload luggage. Lovely breakfast, very friendly staff and very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is modern and a 1 minute walk from the main square - we appreciated the proximity and easy access especially given the 40C heat. Highly recommend.

I wish that I could give 10 stars to Sextantio! The property is stunning, the town is wonderful, the views are breathtaking, and the staff is incredible. If you are visiting Italy, Matera is a must. Stayed in this fascinating hotel in Matera for 3 nights. Our room was in one of the old cisterns carved out of the limestone. While not luxurious, the unique aspect of being in a cave more than made up for any lack of facilities. Matera itself was astonishing - truly exceptional place to visit. Great local restaurants, too, all full of character.
It was quite an experience staying in a cave hotel! It's not easy to retrofit facilities in a cave so don't expect luxurious bathrooms or decor. New, clean and welcoming apartment. New and spacious bathroom. Pre-packaged snacks, rusks and jams, milk, juice, coffee pods / tea. Public pay parking nearby. Perfect location for visiting Matera. The girl, Antonella, who manages the Residence is very kind. Recommended!!! Unfortunately the mattress was not very comfortable, it is advisable to add a tea towel in the kitchen.

Splendid hotel, in the center of Matera, Francesca at the reception was helpful and competent. The room was wonderful with a gorgeous bathroom! I highly recommend it.
+ Very good location, spacious room, modern and comfortable but nevertheless remains very typical of the Sassi (do not expect the room to be very bright). Very pleasant bathroom and rather decent bedding. - The curtains do not allow you to achieve complete blackness.
