10/10. I can not find a fault with this hotel. Immaculately clean, Rooms very spacious, cleaned every day. Loads of parking spaces, Staff very friendly and very helpful. This hotel should be 4*. I would recommend this hotel 100 %. The only downside is, its a little way out of town. Apart from that Fantastic.

We made a reservation at this place as we would be passing through while we traveled through the region. Altopascio is a quaint little town with places to eat downtown. Some interesting buildings. I'd give it a 3/5 as the rooms are dated and not that great considering; however the host was very friendly upon our arrival and so were the women serving us breakfast which made our stay that much better

Clean hotel with nice staff. The area is somewhat isolated but easily accessible by car. The rooms and facility are well furnished and clean. This is a 3 star hotel which deserves its three stars. Suitable when traveling with a large group as there are many rooms and large spaces.

We stayed one night walking the Via Francigena the rooms are large and clean - the hotel is close to restaurants and shops and serves a decent breakfast - we had some confusion when leaving as we thought we had paid but they were very understanding in notifying us and sorting out the issue. The host here is so nice. I wanted to visit my friend’s family, and since they had an extra bed in their apartment, I was allowed to sleep there. I even got breakfast the next morning. The host was always smiling and had fun with my friend’s son. I can strongly recommend this place!

Very good accommodation to stay if you want to visit Lucca and Pisa. We looked forward to breakfast everyday because of the home made specials that were a treat everyday. Best place in the neighbourhood to my opinion. Difficult to find another place like this for tasting the real local cuisine.. which by the way tastes wonderful especially if it goes together with good wines. If you are unsure what to pick in the menu, the Cioncia or the Porcini mushrooms based specialties when is the right season would be probably my first recommendations..

Wonderful B&B in great location in amongst the wine groves. Really convenient for the Livorno ferry. Extremely friendly and cooperative - the breakfast is sensational. Wine and olive oil available to buy and restaurant next door. Well worth the 5*

Excellent position as regards the route of the Via Francigena (the Lucca-Altopascio leg is lengthened by a few kilometers, to reach the landlord, but the one of the following day is shortened). As soon as we arrived, the owner gave us a bottle of fresh water each. Available to give information on the spot. Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful villa. The location is very quiet, with a nice village within walking distance and many beautiful places nearby. The owner is welcoming and very helpful. They live downstairs, but that's no problem at all. They are open to questions, and offer enough privacy. The house is very clean and the pool is great to cool off in. A place to come back again!

Stayed here a year ago. Could not recommend it highly enough. Lovely villa close to the village of Montecarlo. Good facilities with it. Nice a cool in the summer, complete with a pool. Owner is friendly. Reasonably priced. The only downside is the wifi is not great so maybe rely on your own data. Great to have a nice relaxing stay over.

This is a very beautiful place 12km from the centre of Lucca. It has everything you need, including a dishwasher, the apartment is very clean and more than big enough. It is nice to be traveling again and it was fantastic to spend 6 nights at Corte Benedetto. This is my 3rd time staying at this property and I love it more and more with every visit. The owner and his staff are wonderful and they will go out of their way to make sure you have a relaxing visit. The location is beautiful and peaceful, but with a car, it is a convenient base for day trips in Tuscany

We had an amazing time in Relais Corte Benedetto!!! On our roadtrip through Toscane we slept here for 3 nights. We stayed in a verry big and beautiful room. Breakfast was nice. We enjoyed the hottub and the free coffee and thee. No loud traffic nearby.

Fantastic experience! Enchanting place, quiet location surrounded by nature. A large, well-kept pool with salt water. To keep company there are a few puppies and animals that will make your children smile and go crazy. The staff is really helpful and friendly, it almost feels like family! Nice enough place but very dated. Pool is superb but doesnt open until 9 ! so no early morning swim before work for me. Closes again at 7 so only just got in after work. Restaurant appears expensive. Overall not bad but needs an overhaul

A warm welcome from this family run Albergo. A lovely local, family run relais, with an excellent pool and lovely walks around the nearby lake. Dinner in the nearby restaurant Serendipico was good although the chef, Masaki Kuroda was away at his new restaurant in Lucca, but it didn't compare to the meal we had the previous year. It made for an excellent short break.

I recently found the name of this hotel in one of my scrapbooks from when I traveled with People to People Ambassador Programs when I was a young teenager in 2009. I have fond memories of this hotel. I also had one of my the most significant ghost experiences here. I'm smiling back on the memories and would love to return one day to see if it's like I remember it.

Quiet place nice, helpful and discreet hosts. Excellent cleaning and even services. Great location to visit the park of Pinocchio Garden Garzoni and the Butterfly House. Between Pisa and Florence it is only a little over half an hour from each one. I would recommend it again!

We had a fantastic warm welcome by the host and a beautiful air-conditioned room! We had a fantastic time here visiting Lucca, the beach and the hills. The host gave us some good advice for dinner places and she was very helpful in making a reservation (as we don't speak Italian).

Amazing place. I rested here on my hike of the Via Francigena and immediately felt at home. The room is comfortable, wifi is great, and being able to use the well equipped kitchen was great. The hostess is one of the kindest people I have met only my 4-month journey. Go here!

Very nice Italian lady renting out a B&B with several rooms (each with own bathroom) and a shared kitchen+livingroom (incl. TV) and a nice south-facing terrace where we enjoyed the sun. Includes breakfast (self-serving) and WiFi. Would book again if I come back to the area.

Villa Colle Olivi is situated on a hill in Pescia where it is very relaxing to spend your vacation. The location is great to visit several Italian landmarks and cities like Pisa, Lucca, Florence and even Siena with the nearby villages of San Gimignano. Giampaolo speaks English fluently and has a lot of tips on what to do, where to eat… he and his wife Paula also make very nice Cappucino’s. Perfect...

We were upgraded to stay in Hotel Le Vedute, a very pleasant, large building with a swimming pool and restaurant. We had spacious rooms, and made use of the pool and pool bar. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, organising luggage transfer for us. This is a good stop to break up an otherwise long day on the Via Francigena - it's a short walk off the route. The location is perfect for visiting many locations. The breakfast and dinner served by the hotel Le Views are nothing short of excellent, Negative sides: there are no mosquito nets on the windows of the room and in the evening mosquitoes abound, the pool of the B&B always badly kept full of insects, and the bathroom should be refurbished as access to the tub / shower is very difficult.

Is actually a very nice area with a pool. Breakfast was great too. Unfortunately, you can tell that the Bssitzer has been more concerned with the 4 star hotel around the corner lately (same owner). Some money would have to be raised again. Still nice.

Kind and generous We did not get to stay at La Stregatta. We arrived on foot and found to our surprise (it was early March) the place was fully booked. There was no other accommodation available in the village. Despite being busy, the owner kindly offered to drive us to Ponte Cappiano. He refused any payment. We are both very grateful to him for his kindness and generosity.
