Clean hotel with nice staff. The area is somewhat isolated but easily accessible by car. The rooms and facility are well furnished and clean. This is a 3 star hotel which deserves its three stars. Suitable when traveling with a large group as there are many rooms and large spaces.

Hotel very well maintained with friendly and kind staff. The rooms are clean, large and with comfortable beds. Equipped with television, mini bar, high quality furniture. Breakfast is served excellently and is very abundant. Recommended
Room is comfortable, service is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is small but acceptable, coffee was great!

Lovely little place, clean spacious, comfortable and fresh, new and well furnished rooms. great breakfast. The staff welcomes you with a smile and gives excellent advice on the surroundings to visit Really excellent quality price. The only weak bridge: the railway passes very close but luckily the train does not pass at night

The house and yard were beautiful, the host was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom and the room were very clean and we had could come and go as we like. We were a little late for check-in since we got stuck in a parking lot due to a broken gate, and the host was very understanding and the communication with him was excellent.
Cleanliness and friendliness of the owners are the strengths of the b&b, the location is a stone's throw from the center of Altopascio and close to the main state road but at the same time quiet
We had a wonderful time here! Incredible hospitality — we felt very well taken care of with these gracious, kind, generous hosts. Absolutely recommend!

lovely location, views of the vineyard, lovely pool. amazing host, helped daughter with a trip to the chemist while we slept🙂 great breakfast, will def be back to stay soon
The host here is so nice. I wanted to visit my friend’s family, and since they had an extra bed in their apartment, I was allowed to sleep there. I even got breakfast the next morning. The host was always smiling and had fun with my friend’s son. I can strongly recommend this place!
Very good accommodation to stay if you want to visit Lucca and Pisa. We looked forward to breakfast everyday because of the home made specials that were a treat everyday. The owners know a lot about the area and and very willing to help and give advice where to go to. Swimming pool was a bit smaller than photos show but still good enough to relax. Also the bathroom was rather small: the shower cabine...
Best place in the neighbourhood to my opinion. Difficult to find another place like this for tasting the real local cuisine.. which by the way tastes wonderful especially if it goes together with good wines. If you are unsure what to pick in the menu, the Cioncia or the Porcini mushrooms based specialties when is the right season would be probably my first recommendations..
Wonderful B&B in great location in amongst the wine groves. Really convenient for the Livorno ferry. Extremely friendly and cooperative - the breakfast is sensational. Wine and olive oil available to buy and restaurant next door. Well worth the 5*

Proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e camera spaziosa e accogliente.
Very friendly owners. Excellent value for money. Clean rooms, nice renovated bathroom, very quiet area and in the village there is an excellent pizzeria. Excellent base for Lucca, about 20 minutes.
Excellent position as regards the route of the Via Francigena (the Lucca-Altopascio leg is lengthened by a few kilometers, to reach the landlord, but the one of the following day is shortened). As soon as we arrived, the owner gave us a bottle of fresh water each. Available to give information on the spot. As for dinner, the location of the structure is at least 1km from the first authorized center...

This was a comfortable hotel with a very friendly manager. He has excellent English and really helped us to decide where to eat and drink. An overall very pleasant experience.
Helpfull Staff, excellent relation price-quality, sometimes 3 stars hotels was worst than Paola. I recommend it with a clear conscience :)
The hotel is perfect for those on the via francigena, easy to find, super friendly, spotlessly clean, all mod cons and a delicious breakfast with great variety and good coffee!!
I have just had an extremely pleasant one- week stay at this charming hotel. What a gem! The hosts, Paola and Marco, are genuinely friendly, approachable and professional. There is a high standard of cleanliness and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet, with fresh local products and good coffee, is attractively presented. Then one can set off to explore the many attractions of Tuscany...
Nice place, modern, with private parking. Staff not super friendly, and rooms do not appear to be soundproof. Overall good.
This was a gem of a place. Not to be missed. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful decoration. Comfy rooms and a great breakfast to start the day.

Beautiful place, well maintained and clean !!! Great for a weekend with lots of company, we hope next time to go back in the summer to take advantage of the pool !!!!
Very quiet place immersed in the green hills. Recommended for holidays or relaxing weekends. Another plus is the swimming pool! Nice and clean room, maybe just a little small for four people but with everything you need! Very kind owner. If I have the chance I will definitely go back.

Guests from 13-15/09 current. Cozy, comfortable, quiet environment where you can breathe a familiar atmosphere. The House located in the historic center of Montecarlo (municipality known for the quality of its wines), enjoys a beautiful panorama overlooking the Valdinievole. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and of high quality. Miriam's cakes, the lady who runs the b&b are good indeed excellent and...
Montecarlo is a small, intact and picturesquely situated medieval village that, due to its geographical location, is ideal for exploring northern Tuscany. The Antica Casa Naldi is located directly at the city wall and offers a breathtaking view over the hilly landscape. Sitting on the city wall as the lord of the castle with a glass of wine in the evening - sensational. The rooms are spacious, with...
Antica casa Naldi is an authentic place with lovely, very clean rooms. You can eitherhave a more international breakfast with coffee/ tea, yoghurt bread, cheese, ham and jam or a an Italian one with cappucino and dolce. Everything is served by the lovely host host Miriam either in the large kitchen or in the small courtyard towards the old town wall around Monte Carlo. Miriam can also provide you...
Fantastic place to really feel like you are in Italy during medieval times. Historic old world feel of the whole place. You walk out of the spacious well-equipped kitchen (with great breakfast) onto a patio, and eat your breakfast on the perimeter stone fortress wall of MonteCarlo, overlooking miles of Tuscan landscape. Bedrooms were huge with the same great views. The website pictures barely...

Breakfast consisted of local and homemade produce and baking, excellent! Dinner was cooked from scratch and represented local cuisine and Nonna’s recipes, the Zuppa alla Garfagnia was to die for. David is an excellent chef and Giulia the hostess with the mostest. They are knowledgeable of the town’s history and told us the story of the Teatro dei Rassicurati
In few places you feel at home like this. Apart from the exceptional location of Monte Carlo, which certainly helps make the place magical, the two owners look after the hotel in an excellent way, are super friendly and able to provide a truly excellent service. Charming rooms furnished in harmony with the history of the place. Crazy breakfast with homemade cakes prepared by the owner. Definitely try...
It was a wonderful stay with comfortable rooms and amazing food. I would recommend eating dinner here; it was the best food we had during entire 2 week stay in Italy. It is also well decorated and very clean. 👍🏼👍🏼

Our host Francesca was welcoming, informative, and charming. Her B &B had the ideal location in the cozy little Medievil town of Montecarlo, known for its smaller Tuscan wine producers, fortress, 17th century theatre, and 800 year old oak tree...the wood from which was made the magical nose of Pinocchio...so it is said😎. Our 2 breakfasts were delicious and delightful. Cakes, quiches, cereals, meats...
truly a remarkable place to stay. Extremely warm and welcoming. many short day trips. We are coming back this is the place only advice is to book ahead best place in the area! The host and hostess ( proprietors ) are super great too Bring your suit ask Flavo about the pool ;) His wife speaks six languages so it was great for us
Wonderful hosts, spectacular hotel, divine ambiance, and most importantly, quality sleeps. Five stars for the obvious perfection that this hotel strives for. All in a beautiful fortified town with proud local eateries. You won't be at all disappointed! :)
We stayed at this delightful bed and breakfast in June this was our first visit to the town. The bed and breakfast is run by a husband and wife team `Francesca and Flavio . They are fantastic hosts and they are inviting you into their home. The hospitality is what you would find in a 5star hotel. The breakfast was first class. The rooms are of a great standard more than just a bed breakfast. I...
