I loved staying here. Probably one of the most memorable places I stayed in Italy. The food here was great and the atmosphere of being right beside the beach was breath taking. I enjoyed where we stayed too, The rooms were cosy with air conditioning

The beach is located just in the front, and you have access included in your room. This includes sunbeds and umbrellas.
The customer service is amazing, the front desk girls are great and always happy to help

Charming hotel, well furnished and equipped, very modern, very kind staff, quite calm environment. The services offered are many, especially the possibility of using both the beach and the swimming pool; the rooms have an external sink, convenient for rinsing swimsuits; the structure also offers touring bicycles. Excellent cuisine in the restaurant. This structure accepts four-legged friends (with a small additional fee for cleaning the room, which is all there)

Why does no review mention that the MAINROAD is in front of the hotel and the TRAIN I Is right in the back? A quiet and relaxing stay for us is something different!
Standard rooms have no window - is that legal to rent such a room?
Yes, we got a room “upgrade” - but that’s really NOT a “grand hotel” - also this room was new many many years ago and you see and feel the cheapness everywhere.

July 2021we spend 10 days in this hotel we will not be going back.
on arrival they put us in a new building near by it was 100 metres from the main hotel, the room was very comfortable and modern but it was also full of people with dogs. dogs were everywhere, they were in the breakfast room, by the swimming pool and in the main restaurant room, we were surrounded by dogs.We noticed the hotel has annexed a large part of the public beach to entertain and groom dogs they have called CUCCIOLAND.....so if you want to stay in a kennel please go to this hotel.The sea was nice but occasionally we saw Seagulls feeding on floating nasty bits of human excrements . sorry Calabria but wake up please. In general we were totally disappointed with the service. Go to this hotel if you are a dog or a seagull.

With a nice view of the beach , and very close. Good food , clean and calm environment with security; is the top priority here.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and include many options. Directly on the beach with showers, chairs and beach beds and also a bar. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Just spent a week at the Grand Tonnara and were so sad to leave. The staff there is so accommodating and friendly. They treated us like family. Giovanni knows how to run a hotel and make all his guests feel welcomed. Going back again next year.
