We loved our stay at Hotel Borgo Di Santa Barbara. Easily communicated with hotel manager Martina throughout the duration of our stay through WhatsApp - scheduling transit and shuttles from Aurelio (staff). They were extremely nice our entire stay. The restaurant located on the property La Locanda was amazing, great food, nice and quiet patio outside. Would recommend staying here and would come back!

We had to stay at this property unexpectedly after our other accommodations fell through and we discovered a gem! The owner greeted us and checked us in early upon arrival. She was so welcoming and helpful! The vibe of the property is chill and relaxing 😌 We enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the pool (they grow their own vegetables!) and a great dinner at the restaurant on site. My only regret was not staying longer! I 100% recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay for one night, and found the hotel to be quiet, comfortable, and serene. The check-in was very quick and easy, followed by a restaurant right on site that does a wonderful dinner as well as a complimentary Italian breakfast. The pool is cozy and received plenty of sunlight, and the room was comfortable along with a top notch A/C and a stocked mini fridge. We’ll certainly stay again next time we’re in town

We ended our Europe trip with a week at Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara and it was the perfect choice. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, a great place to unwind. You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade. The family who owns and runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and their hospitality really stands out. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to return someday.

Rosario is a very hospitable and attentive host, he is eager to help you with any requests. Rosario will always recommend the best attractions and towns to visit and he’s always right - everything he recommended was worth visiting. He is already our family friend. The rooms are always very clean, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is classic Italian - very good! The location of Locanda del Sole is perfect - it is right near the popular Riaci beach and a 20-30 minutes walk to Tropea and Santa Domenica. There is a train station in Santa Domenica, which makes it very easy to access other towns in Calabria. We go there every summer and will return again! This is our dream place❤️
