An excellent hotel and restaurant. Sonia and Emanuele were very generous, friendly and welcoming. The room was large and extremely comfortable. La Cantina was a lovely atmospheric space with excellent service and food.

We arrived on a rainy Sunday evening after a tiring hike. Sonia's welcome was a burst of energy! Our top floor room was quirky with a wonderful roof terrace area we would loved to have made use of in better weather. We drank a beer in the small bar and ate in the hotel restaurant - La Cantina (separate review). Breakfast was generous. You could not ask for better hosts than Sonia and Emmanuel.

What a little gem of a hotel. Lovely characterful rooms. Very welcoming owners . The hotel restaurant La Cantena has an authentic rustic charm serving superb food and local wines at reasonable prices. The grilled vegetables in local olive oil and the seafood starter were fantastic. Breakfast can be taken in the light and airy courtyard .

Amazing place to stay in beautifully renovated palace with very well appointed rooms and delicious cosy restaurant. I had a little accident whilst there and Emmanuel was so concerned and kind and took me first to the doctor and then accident and emergency at 9pm on a Friday. Once all was well he collected us at 2am. Super special place

Amazing building with very friendly and helpful hosts, Sonja & Emanuele. Our room was incredible and breakfast was delicious. Great picnic too for our day’s walking. I left a pair of earrings and Emanuele brought them to Otranto for me, exceptional service!

Our hosts welcomed us from the moment of our arrival. Very personal care and attention to detail. Really enjoyed the food and service. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The fish was fabulous but expensive. Just need to watch the quantity that you order.

The owner! The nice couple really tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They brought us fresh fruits from their own garden and homemade cake for breakfast. The room was really big, more like a small apartment with a large bathroom.

The place is amazing! The house is very big. The bed very comfortable. There is a fridge. The lady was always available to help us. Her husband also always offered his help. Very nice and kind itallian family. They even asked us if it is okay to clean our room when we go away. They prepared the best breakfast for us every day. They even tried to learn our (slovenian) language to communicate easier...

Amazing palazzo in tiny village a truly wonderful architecture. Don’t expect being waited on hand & foot - more of a laissez faire atmosphere with pizza nights. Pool a bit small, but a great restaurant for dinner - well worthwhile.

We stayed at the B & b le Rose for two nights finding full availability and welcome since the first day we arrived late in the evening. The structure is well positioned as you can easily and quickly reach Castro, the caves of Zinzolusa. Recommended.
