La Belle Epoque Hotel

I really loved the design, and the location is just amazing. You have the railway station close by and the ice cream shop if you want to go and get an ice cream. Unfortunately the food was a bit cold but the cake was ok.
The room was nice even tho the TV was small it worked very well and it had good graphics. The service was ok not the best but ok. I have to say that the waiter in the dining room with curly hair was very nice.
He was fast and very nice. I’m giving this hotel 3 stars even tho the location was nice, unfortunately the food was cold and the service wasn’t amazing. I hope my review helped for anyone who is searching a nice place to stay in Venice. And have a good day

When I arrived after a long difficult train journey a member of the staff was rude to me at check in, making comments about my belly. When I asked about an elevator I was told there was none and I could use the stairs to work off some weight. Who says that to a paying customer? If the room hadn't been non-refundable I would have canceled my reservation then and there and left. In all fairness, the place has a great location, the bed was large and comfortable. Room was a little small. Fixtures a bit crammed into the bathroom. I made a point of not patronizing the restaurant while I was there because of the rough treatment I received. I kept my head down and got out of there as early as I could the morning of my departure. A shame "ma grande entrée à La Belle Epoque" had to be so unpleasant. The place has potential. From what I could tell there is no Wi-Fi despite the fact that it is advertised. There was a laminated note on the desk in my room about no wi-fi.

I stayed there for just one night, the room is very clear, the bathroom very spacious. The view from the hotel leaves you out speechless. I'm giving just three stars instead of five because the staff (except a person) was not so kindly with us three. They offer the storage of your luggages for free also during the day you have to leave.
