Hotel GARDENIA & Villa CHARME Adults Friendly 10Plus

Short two nights stay. Great location 2 min walk to lake, nice walk to a center, shop next door. Very friendly and helpfull personel! Rather tightly around the pools during summer. Strange thing that we found in the room was a hotel’s notice about thiefs from Eastern Europe in the area which looked odd. We shared feedback on that one with reception staff. I would come come back for another short stay.

After a very positive 7 night stay at Hotel Gardenia last year, we opted this time around a 10 night stay so we could see more of Lake Garda and also grab some much needed pool time in between.
I'm glad to say nothing had changed, standards remain very high and Management are always visible, and very friendly. Same with general staff and a very good clientele too, all walks of life from all over Europe (& UK) and everyone just gets on...think Hotel Gardenia's vibe rubs off on everyone.
Pool kept spotless, a very good and affordable breakfast and a very special mention to the cleaning staff, very high standards resulting in spotless rooms and a very clean hotel.
Only a 10 - 15 minute walk into Bardolino either by pavement or much more scenic lake. And, bus stop both ways only 3 minutes away too.
Think it speaks volumes that the majority of guests of Hotel Gardenia are recurring, as are we. On checking out we rebooked another 10 nights in July 2024!

Must be one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, most certainly the cleanest. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. My room had all the features you'd expect from a hotel, but again, just so neat and clean. The swimming pool was such a welcome relief in the blistering heat during my visit. Breakfast was also very delicious, serving some very tasty pastries among many other things.

Had a really nice week stay here in 2005. The hotel is small but has everything you need and is only a short walk along the lake into Bardolino

Everything was just great from the welcome drink to leaving for home. The staff and owners were friendly, very accommodating - and there was always plenty of them around at the key times. The breakfast was great, plenty of it, good selection (some bacon and sausage would make it perfect) The rooms (and the hotel in general) was spotless. And the pools were never overcrowded.
All in all, a great time had by the whole family.

If I was being ultra picky, the temperature of the pool was a tad on the cold side - but, as it was hot in the sun so any pool would probably be chilly.

Lovely hotel and the staff are always happy to help. The rooms are clean and the beds v.comfortable. There are two pools to the front, one quieter than the other( although both are fairly quite). Its situated a short walk from the lake and the town center. The only down 😐 is no ironing facilities in the rooms. However, irons are available for use behind reception. 🤗

It is always top service-----even at this time(end of season) is very busy. Staff could not be more helpful. Ryanair travellers note (boarding passes) we return each october
