Riva del Sole is a wonderful place to stay, with guests of all ages. There’s room and activities for everyone, and enough land and space that it never feels crowded. The hotel buildings nestle into the surrounding pine woods and greenery, while on the beach the sea views are lovely. All staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is one of mutual respect and safety. Very relaxing for a vacation

The location was amazing, the info-structure is very good and very well maintained, all personnel was very kind and helpful. The only downside was the meals, as an Italian, I was expecting food to be much better (even I understand that cooking for 200 people at the same time it is not easy task), but definitely launch and dinner was very below standards.

It was a very clean, beautiful Family place. The sea was only a two-minute walk away, and there were lots of trees. 🌳I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

This hotel is the real deal. Everything you could ever want in a resort - beautiful rooms, spa, delicious breakfast, and the most incredible staff. We stayed here for two nights of our honeymoon and cannot recommend it enough. Just 10 minutes from Castiglione delle Pescaia if you want to explore downtown, or 30 minutes from Cala Violina boat tour, we had the absolute best time and can't wait to return

This place offered an ideal Tuscan escape. It's surrounded by gorgeous countryside and is only a short drive to a sandy Mediterranean beach, where you can reserve chairs at the hotel's partner beach club. I went with high expectations and they were met and surpassed. The location is glorious even if Google Sat Nav persists in taking you in the wrong entrance! Did I say this was my best stay in a beach resort, in Italy?Rooms are big, clean and furnished with all you need. The beach is sandy and big. The Swimmingpool is big enough. Stayed in July 2021 family 4 people. 2 functional communicating rooms (one with a cadtello bed for children). Bathroom not very large. Unfortunately the parking is a bit far but, given the excellent location close to all useful services (beach, minimarket, dry cleaner, pharmacy, bakery, ice cream parlors, restaurants and more) and a stone's throw from the town center, the car is not needed. nothing at all. While passing through Castiglione della Pescaia we chose this hotel for its very convenient location, both for going to the center and for going to the beach. Really nice area, nice and clean apartment, but there was no wlan in the apartment, also it feels like the hotel is saving money wherever it's possible. The problem kind of was, that there was nothing going on, even though there were possibilities to. (Went there Late July - Early August 2018)

The staff at L'Approdo are so friendly and helpful. The Breakfast has a really good selection. The rooms are modern and clean. There are great views of the sea and castle. The hotel is a short walk to the sea, restaurants and cafes. Definitely 5 Star!

On holiday with my wife in Cstiglione della Pescaia, we stayed at the l'Approdo hotel. Very nice and relaxing place. A stone's throw from the beach, but practically close to the center of Castiglione. Recommended for a relaxing experience.

We stayed a weekend in this hotel with friends, everything was perfect from breakfast, dinner to the room and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff throughout the hotel, the car park is a bit far away but with patience you can find a place even closer.

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful! We had a room with a balcony facing east with a view of the Diaccia Botrona Natural Reserve and the harbor. We really liked that. The hotel is centrally located, with short distances to the restaurants, beach bars and ice cream parlors. For the second summer we stayed here. Last year one week, this time two. All perfect. Chiara, the owner, is kind, attentive, courteous. And since there is no two without three .... Great for the price. Please avoid the rooms with sofa bed. We were fortunate enough that availability meant we were upgraded at no extra cost after the first night. Management were very pleasant and the location is superb.
