Staff were excellent Rooms very clean The costs for drinks and staff was reasonable Distance from hotel to town was a 20 min walk, for us who use gym at home, a walk was our excercise so served us right.

We have been to this hotel every year since 2002 until 2014. We now visit less but for no other reason than we now live in Portugal, each stay was for three or four weeks in August where friends would also come with us, forming a sometimes quite large group. The hotel has always been excellent, with superb staff and a great restaurant. It has been considerably updated since 2002 and I would recommend...

Only stayed one night here, and it was nice. The food, I had dinner and breakfast, was good. I particularly liked my "fritto misto" ( mixed fried fish dish). There was no buffet at breakfast, due to you know what, but the bread and the pastries were fresh and very tasty. The only thing that let it down was that the room was too warm and the bed too hard. I would stay here again!

The place is very beautiful, the location breathtaking

Wonderful location with views all round. Well kept grounds, pool, restaurant terrace and very well restored buildings. Food very good and generous portions. A very relaxing place to spend all day by the pool but also great base for sightseeing.

Exceptional location, service and food! We had an amazing experience staying at the Borgo. This castle is almost 1700 years and is in amazing shape. You will not find a friendlier staff and the restaurant is amazing too. We highly recommended Borgo di Celle.

Good place and good food, highly recommend for the view

We have stayed here a few times. Today we called in to obtain some prices for a later visit for a group, as always there were very accommodating. Our only problem is something they cannot change, the proximity to the town, you need a car. But once again we were taken by the views

The location is outstanding. It's very close to safe and spacious parking spots (if you travel by car). It's inside the city walls, giving you access to all the beauty of Città di Castello whenever you want. The place is furnished with locally sources materials and taste. The small terrace is completely hidden and enables you to view the major town's monuments without even been seen :-...

Very nice B&B 3 min walk from the historic center. Parking is not on site, but still close. Cozy apartment in the attic, furnished with antiques and exposed beams, very typical and pleasant, with air conditioning. The strong point is Mrs. Luciana who prepares fresh cakes and sweets for breakfast.

Very central in a sixteenth-century house, wonderful apartment. Superb breakfast: homemade jams and freshly baked yogurt cake !!!! Very hospitable hosts! Highly recommended!

Friendly very popular hotel, ample parking, super breakfast and dining facility. Family owned and managed. Have used it for years. Would reccomend.

I loved this hotel, you feel part of the city's walls cause the hotel is built with a side directly connected to them. The room was clean, functional and I appreciated the style while the paintings were simply awesome. Tv big and mini bar properly filled. The receptionist has been very kind and also the staff is pretty friendly. Quality whit utility cause it is less than 50 meters from the center....

My husband and I visited this hotel Sept 2021 whilst doing the Via Francesco. We enjoyed our stay very much, the hotel had everything we needed. It was inside the city walls right near the centre. Breakfast was great, service was excellent. Recommended

Average 2 star hotel in Città del Castello. My room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Food is good, especially breakfast. Unfortunately, wifi didn’t work great.

It's a lovely place. It's up a pretty rough dirt road, and if you are on a motorbike it might be difficult, but it's beautiful, quiet and clean, and the restaurant is very, very good. Badia il Vingone is a magic place. The location is absolutely amazing with an unforgettable view over the Tevere valley. This is a very, very old abbey converted into holiday apartments. Enchanting place and perfect base camp for visiting Umbria, Tuscany and Marche. Lovely place with very well-kept swimming pool and greenery. Very nice, kind and attentive managers. The structure in question is located about 10 km, about half an hour by car from the main Città di Castello the first 7 km are with an old asphalt and full of holes, while the last ones are on a dirt road with stones; therefore not all cars are indicated. When you walk the last few meters you are fascinated by the beauty and uniqueness of the landscape, but above all by the silence and peace that reigns...

Amazing setting, great views on the surrounding hills, very nice, no-nonsense food (dinner only), nice accommodations especially in apartments (but for two, not really for four-people), great swimming pool. Unfortunately a bit secluded, at the end of a non-paved country road, bug that's its charm. Loved it.

We spent the night in a room inside the main house. We were very satisfied. The village where the housing is located is nothing special. The homestead itself, the courtyard, the house furnishings, fragments from different eras and details in the interior are interesting and valuable. I confirm everything that Mrs. Pina the Cat has written. He summed it all up perfectly. Absolute silence and peace by day and by night. There were 5 of us and we didn't have any problems.
