We stayed here 1 night in mid February. The hotel is kept clean and characterized by a wonderful atmosphere, also thanks to the wonderful fireplace in the center of the hall. The room (standard type) was comfortable and equipped with everything. The pride of the cuisine and the kindness of the owners. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at this quaint hotel for 5 days. Very good typical Aosta Valley cuisine and very friendly owners. Excellent room cleaning. For all these reasons, I would recommend it to anyone wishing to spend a pleasant holiday in this very pretty town, nestled in the Gran Paradiso National Park.

Small hotel near the center of Cogne. The rooms have comfortable balconies from which you have a splendid view of the gran paradiso or the mont blanc. The beds are comfortable even if the furnishing of the rooms could be modernized and improved with minibar and safe. The common areas are traditional and comfortable. We were planning a week in Val d'Aosta and some experienced mountaineer advised to come here. Run by a family from more than fifity years, a delightful lady named Darma will take you back to a different time, made of kindness, fair prices, nice cooking and tidiness. Amazing view on the sorrounding mountains and valleys. Worth to come.

Restaurant was pretty good, we went there twice, first time we had pretty good experience other than waiting few minutes for gentlemen that was busy chatting with other workers. Barman had to ask for him several times before he came to register. Excellent place. Family run with nice and personal owners who work hard to make sure everything goes right. Clean and confortable rooms decorated in a quirky way. Excellent restaurant (possibly the only one during summer in the village). Among others great dishes, best gnocchi a la Valdostana. The ubiquitous polenta Valdostana is also one of the best I had in the village.

This is truly a family hotel and the arrangements in the dining room reflect that in terms of dinner times, food selection etc. Nevertheless the food was excellent and the waiter was very helpful in his explanation of some Italian food names which I found a bit difficult. We stayed in May (and given the good weather in October 2017) at the Les nigritelles residence (unfortunately only 3 days) and we had a really good time. The apartment was very clean and complete in all its parts. The residence is impeccably managed with truly exquisite kindness. The view from the rooms is priceless. We will definitely be back. NB ... I went there to get some fresh air while I was working, and to take two walks. Cogne is splendid for this. Rented at the Vieux Grenier just for a couple of days, I ended up spending more than a week there, refreshing myself, mixing work with walks. Short stay but more than enough to give 5 stars: the residence is nice, clean and welcoming, as well as 2 steps from the center. The location is great. The staff was fantastic. The girls and boys of the miniclub, Dalila, Ludovica, Denise, Giovanni, Simone and Lele are extremely nice and friendly. Really enjoyed this place. A bit dated but the staff are really nice and helpful. The bar closes at 9pm. They are generous with their 4x4 to move baggage around, you will need it. They could clear the path of snow, it's an idea.

This place is the best hotel in Pila in the winter in my opinion but the staff don't have the best English yet still it's much better than my Italian I must admit. The view from the sitting area is truly astonishing showing many of the other mountains. It is positioned with great convenience to the slopes and to the shops.

First time in Pila (and first time skiing for 20 years). Booked this lovely hotel for family holiday and only have good things to say. Staff are very friendly (and work very hard!) and look after you well. We were able to book our ski & boot hire via the hotel and they were ready and waiting for us in the hotel boot room and the skis a 5 min walk away in the hill in the locker. Excellent hotel. Rooms are a good size and clean. The food is delicious with generous portions. Close to the pistes (7-10 minute walk). Natacia and JP and the team really make an effort to look after you. I have been 4 times and likely to continue to be an annual trip.

I didn't stay in the hotel, if that's an option. We ate in the restaurant, which had delicious food. It was really loud, though; it was hard for me to follow conversations in the atmosphere. But the food was nice! Standard traditional Italian fare.

Big rooms, all of them have balcony with great view on Aosta and the mountains around. Very close to the lift for Pila to go to ski. Breakfast is not that big but it’s good enough. Andrea from the staff was very friendly and gave advice on where to go for dinner and ski rental. The hotel is not meant for skiers but it worked fine for us.

I walked in at 8 at night with no reservation. Was given a lovely double room and access to the garage to store my motorbike for 90 euros total. Had a great steak dinner in the restaurant, maybe a tiny bit overpriced, but very good and left happy the next morning.

Although this hotel doesn’t have it’s own parking space, yet the 6euro parking lots nearby are a perfect option, it makes us like local and it mean so much to us just being fewer days to live like a local. Breakfast buffet were a good option if you want get on you outing sooner. We very happy with our stay.

When I arrived after a long difficult train journey a member of the staff was rude to me at check in, making comments about my belly. I stayed there for just one night, the room is very clear, the bathroom very spacious. The view from the hotel leaves you out speechless. I'm giving just three stars instead of five because the staff (except a person) was not so kindly with us three. They offer the storage of your luggages for free also during the day you have to leave.

Just what we expected of a small hotelin a small town in the Alps. Clean amdcomgortabke. Lots of dining options inn the area! Would certainly reccomend!

Second time in this very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is attentive. All in all really good, recommended if you are in the area.

Friendly staff Arrived late, was told to park in a public car park opposite the hotel. Not ideal. Car park turned out to be full. Then was told they actually had private parking but was 100m away. Took 30 minutes to sort, again not ideal late at night after driving a long way. Apart from this, the staff were nice and helpful. The mattress was extremely firm, and only two pillows on a double bed...

Room was spacious and warm, beds were comfortable. We could unload and load the car in the courtyard at the bottom of the stairs; the car had to be parked across the road in a public car park which importantly had 2 electric car charging points. Breakfast (included in room rate) was typically Italian - and good for it.

We have stayed at the Residence Chateau on our trip to southern Italy. It is very quick to get to from the A5 motorway, love rooms and great choice of breakfast, when ever we are on this route it is always our No1 over night stop. thank you

Very very nice apartment, clean and equipped. A little outside Aosta, but in an easily accessible village, the parking space gives an extra point

Outside the center even if only 5 minutes away, I gave 5 stars to all items, I saw what it offers even without having used it, families, couples, or groups of friends can be found well

Excellent structure, apartment, ours, very large and welcoming, very well furnished. We stayed in 5 adults and 2 girls and we found ourselves very well.

This was a lovely find. We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stayed longer. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and again staff were excellent explaining all the options. The main course was cooked and served at our table which was a nice touch. We will certainly consider staying here on the way back should our routing...
