Hotel Clelia

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is very close to the train station. The check in was very quick. We got the attic room, which was perfect for a couple. it's also spacious, and there is plenty of space in the wardrobe. Minibar, kettle and tea, just loved it.

Pool is big and there are loads of chairs to sunbath.

Our room was spotlessly cleaned by Cecilia and Felicia. Thank you for your hard work girls. Everything was perfect. I would also like to express my gratitude to Costanta, Alessandra and Anna. Your kindness and helpful advice made our stay very pleasant. I loved our chats about life and Deiva Marina.

The best thing about the Hotel Clelia is the way it is run and the ladies in reception. Each and every one of them goes over and above to help you with any questions you need. It has fast become one of my favorite hotels.

Amazing place because of three simple reasons: 1) great service, they offered us a new room as we had some little issue with the first one 2) super close to both train station and the paradise beach 3) if you go off season in october, you gonna enjoy a real gem as the town is quiet and the beach is more or less all yours.

Don‘t expect luxury, but expect a very well governed hotel that you will visit more than once. Five stars rating.

Very nice staff, the rooms are rather small and the bed was way too hard. The water pressure in the shower was good.

Big breakfast selection, fresh juice, sadly the coffee was not good for Italian standards.

Also the dinner was disappointing, but we only had it one day, so no points taken for that.

Book directly thru them and don't use sites like booking.com.

The freshly made gelato is really good.

The short walk from the train station to the hotel took just a couple minutes. Walking onto the grounds of the hotel, we were delighted to see a courtyard filled with shade trees, aromatic flowers, cushioned chairs and pleasant sitting areas and a large inviting swimming pool. My friend immediately bought a gelato while our husbands took care of checking us into our rooms.

Our room was cool with a tiled floor and a lovely balcony with two lounge chairs as well as a small table and 2 chairs. As well as more plants with flowers blooming on the balcony; which overlooked the pool. The room was quiet. We couldn't hear any of our neighbors, or street noise.

The location of the hotel is close to the train station, and not far from the beach. We walked to the beach and found a nice restaurant for dinner the first night there. We visited Cinque Terre using the train, which is very convenient to the hotel.

The beach is nice and but rocky. There's no sand. It's a beach covered in small rocks, so wear water shoes or water socks.

Breakfast at the hotel is delicious. The buffet is generous and there are plenty of choices. The orange juice machine was my favorite tool.

While we sat by the pool, staff came out to deliver drinks and nuts and chips.

Dinner was so good. We sat by the pool and had a tasty dinner in a lovely atmosphere. One of the BEST parts of our stay, staff never rolled their eyes, or fussed when we asked for ICE with our water or Cokes. In fact, one of our waiters (I'm sorry, I'm terrible with names and have forgotten his name) said he "LOVES ICE" with his Cokes and drinks. I know this sounds trivial, but let me tell you, we had some definite hostility in many restaurants from folks who would not give us ice with our drinks.

In closing, enjoy the gelato. Eat the breakfast. Sleep in a lovely room. Swim in a refreshing pool. Dine poolside. STAY HERE!

Nice hotel, beautiful garden and big pool. Be aware that the attic rooms are very small and the ceiling very low.
If you are taller than 1.60m, and weigh more than 70kg, you will bang your head many times, and have trouble getting into the minuscule shower cab... ouch.

The hotel is close to the sea and train station, if you want to visit Cinque terre this is your perfect stay. Even if it's close to the train station it is pretty quite there. The room was spacious and clean, the food delicios, you have to try the pasta and frittura di pesce it's amazing. Also i would like to mention the ice cream, you have to try it, it is the best in Italy, and everywhere in general. Breakfast has a variety of coffee, tea, juices, ham, cheese, eggs, and of course croissants. The hotel provides free parking for guests, also there is a nice pool, big and clean. The staff is freiendly and always ready to help if needed. We had a great stay, thank you.

Perfect Hotel in a quite but central location next to the beach and just a short walk from the train station. Cinque Terre and Sestri Levante can be reached in in just twenty minutes by train. The dinner is delicious but the breakfast is also very good with good variety of ham, egg, sausage and of course the typical Italian style breakfast. The homemade ice cream is a speciality of the hotel and is probably the best in town. The hotel is nice and clean and well looked after. It has a good size pool situated in a lovely garden surrounded by trees which provide some shadow. The staff is very friendly and always courteous. The hotel is the perfect destination for someone who is looking for a relaxing, good quality holiday a bit away from the main tourist crowd. It‘s the perfect place to enjoy „Dolce Vita“.

I was here just this last week, all the staff have welcomed us like no one as never done before, I felt like at home every minute I spend there!
The room, the view, the restaurant, the breakfast....everything was perfect!
I am still feeling tonic and energize, even if I consumed enormous amounts of delicious food, the restaurant service is wonderful! Outside the Hotel, you can easily reach the beach in one minute walking, for the services offered and the value for money, at least is a 5 stars superior! My room was awesome at the 3th floor, with an incredibly large bathroom, the breakfast was simply amazing, with a lot of fresh fruits and a great variety of choice, everything organic, biologic....unfortunately I have been only for 4 nights, I wish I could spend a week Hotel Clelia! I recommend it for who wanna spend some days to refresh his soul and body...
The last tip I can give is to book directly on their website, the fare is significantly lower than you can find on the net.
