I recommend this resort from the bottom of my heart. Everything - honestly everything - was perfect! Accommodation - so clean and nice to stay in a room, luxurious view, loads of green palms and bushes in a resort and kitchen? I bet you put some killos on like we did :). Just tasty and a wide choice.

The resort was wonderful, food was really good, the Bravo staff was great. The only improvement could be the quality of the VOI Concierge activities, we joined the Lipari/Vulcano one and it was expensive and unsatisfactory, I would suggest to future guests to check external activities not ones organised by the resort.

Schöne Zimmer und mega leckeres Essen mit vielen Variationen und Abwechslung jeden Tag! Der Strand war zudem sehr schön und sauber mit eigener Strandbar. Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen, die Reisedauer von 5 Tagen fand ich für diese Unterkunft auch angemessen - für längere Aufenthalte ist das UnterhaltungsAngebot zu klein. Am besten hat uns der Strand und das Essen gefallen.

Overnight at this hotel on the nights of 28 and 29 July 2022. Beautiful structure with large, tidy and clean rooms and an excellent buffet breakfast, but the difference is made by the receptionists, young, courteous and very helpful, and the staff all of the hotel.

Great place! The rooms are clean, everything is available. We had to wait a bit for hot water because we turned on the boiler ourselves. A small courtyard with a table and chairs. We rented a studio apartment, small and simple but complete with everything, an excellent solution for a seaside holiday, also very convenient to reach on foot. The studio apartment had a comfortable little garden which allowed us to often eat outside! Portorosa is a huge residence but well kept even if there are some areas that are now closed. We had a small problem with the toilet seat and the fridge...

Very nice and well-kept residence. We had 6 studios: some with a garden and others with a terrace. All studios had all the comforts and more space you need. In front of the residence there is a bar where you can have breakfast with typical Sicilian delights. The beach (both equipped and free) is very close to the residence and easily reachable on foot. Very kind and helpful staff for any kind of need...

Wir hatten zunächst ein Zimmer zur Straße gebucht und hatten aber auf Nachfrage ein Upgrade für plus 10 € pro Nacht auf Meerseite erhalten, was sich absolut gelohnt hat. Wir waren auch begeistert von der Sauberkeit. Lage am Strand ist super. Personal in der Rezeption war sehr freundlich.

If you are traveling outside the active tourist season, this is the perfect place for a romantic and quiet vacation. Excellent staff, commendable cleanliness and perfect restaurant waiter and meal. A charming place for walks, unpolluted surroundings and a clean beach. Would return again for sure!

The staff was very nice and prontly responded to my requests. The room was very confortable and the bathroom clean and wide as well.

We have been staying here for 10 days and unfortunately our vacation ends in a few days. It sure deserves all the stars! Cozy, large and extremely clean room! The staff is courteous and always available .. the girls serving breakfast (they serve fabulous cakes) are exceptional, courteous and helpful! I highly recommend the property!

Very kind staff, very clean and spacious rooms, large bathroom, strategic position if you move a car. Breakfast with a few essential buffet products, not recommended if paid for separately. After all, there is a lift, parking. Recommended for those who want to use it as a base to move to the various many nearby destinations / attractions. It might even look like a 4 star. Pool good Rooms clean with working air condition Breakfast is an desaster... Goes from 7.30 to 9.30 but if you went there at 9.00 its almost cleaned and empty...So nothing to eat at breakfast -.-

Nice place to relax, unwind and have some peace. Country side but still not too far from the beach. There is a bus that will take you to the beach courtesy of the hotel. It's a good hotel. Gave 4 star because I didn't find the food good for an italian hotel. In my opinion. But there are good restaurants around.

We stayed in August 2017, we found ourselves well, the staff very kind and helpful, we eat very well. I only had a problem, I forgot three designer jackets, I struggled for a month to have them, making phone calls every day, because unfortunately the girl who works in the afternoon in the entrance didn't know how to handle the situation well, inventing something every day different ... finally took...

Outdoor pool very well maintained, a little less than the indoor one. The only flaw that does not allow me to give my best is the cleaning of the reception and of the restaurant with some guests too :)

We could visit Tindari and Marina di Patti in a few minutes. Highly recommended for those driving through Sicily, it's just out of the auto Strada, and very safe at night to park in the Residence. You can enjoy the lovely home made food too !!

Both our apartments were clean, spacious and with well-equipped kitchens. The swimming pool area was lovely. All the members of staff we met were friendly and helpful. Overall a great choice for our weekend stay!

We stayed at the Medimare residence for 2 weeks, beginning of September. We had a great time. Dear owners. Even their collaborators Sara and Ivan, always ready in various needs, all very good. Beautiful structure, clean, comfortable. Close to beautiful beaches and tourist spots. Nice and clean pool. Heartfelt thanks to the staff.

Their motto is to be at home, but some things were missing such as the washing machine in my opinion fundamental if you stay a few days. Kitchen equipped with two refrigerators. Air-conditioned studio, bar service not very efficient. Restaurant by reservation only. Well maintained clean and green pool. All in all I was fine, the room prices a bit high. There is always room for improvement!

The cleanliness is 5 stars. The location requires a car (it is also specified in the description). Comfortable beds and sofa bed. Friendly and polite staff. I think my apartment (18) was the oldest, some tricks were missing. The cleanliness of the pool deserves 5 stars. Overall right quality-price. Dogs are accepted but there are no boundaries like gates or anything like that.

The architecture of the hotel is a bit dilapidated but the rooms are pleasant, simple and comfortable. There are all the necessary comforts for a beach holiday: large shower, efficient air conditioning, hairdryer, balcony with drying rack for costumes (object not obvious even to 4 stars). Stayed in this hotel for nine nights Location, a few tens of meters from the beach and the promenade, dangerous to exit the parking lot, which leads directly onto the narrow street with no sidewalk, everything else sufficient, good professional guys, courteous and always available .if I was passing through I would stop for one night, for a stay I would go elsewhere.

The rooms were spacious and had some good features. The bathrooms were nice. The staff didn't speak great English but was friendly and willing to help. The outdoor breakfast area was fantastic.

We stayed here just one night, arranged by our tour operator, Esplora Travel. the place is compact, stylishly decorated and quirky. It is run by 2 sisters who are extremely stylish ladies themselves. We were lucky in that we had a family room with an extra bed and a beautiful large bath so were very comfortable. The breakfast is a bit basic and limited.

The name of the hotel, "La Chicca", means in Italian something precious, and it is fully deserved. it is a boutique hotel with excelent accomodations and service. The staff is really kind and takes excellent care of the customers , in my case making a reservations not related to my stay. But the real surprise is the hotel restaurant. Their Sicily cuisine is outstanding and the prices are really honest...

This hotel is very close to the town centre. The room was large and very clean. The shower was very good. The wi-fi was weak. The bed was very large. There were lots of issues trying to get the air conditioning to go below 26 degrees.

Wonderful view to Etna from the hotel's balcony. They showed guests a brilliant Italian hospitality and care. Delicious breakfast, cooked by themselves. Definately recommend for those, who enjoy exploring various cultural experiences, local cousine and nature.

Best Food in Sicily! This place has a perfect setting in the small town of Malvagna, offering a Perfect view of Etna. Rosangela and Luigi are the most friendly hosts we met and they served us the best food we got on our trip to Sicily, served in Rosangelas Kitchen.

Hotel view is incredible of the sea and mountains. However, please do think wisely before booking. The hotel is 4hours from the airport. Taxi is €280. You will need to a get a bus and two trains plus another 30min walk incline walk to the hotel. But some shops can call them to collect you from the station. The hotel rooms are decent, and clean. The " buffet" is very limited on their hot/cold food....

We were guests for four days, a group of 14 people between adults and children. The view is spectacular with a magnificent view of the Aeolian Islands. The structure, despite being a few years old, is still very comfortable, especially the verandas of the individual rooms that overlook the sea. We spend a week in Capo Skino, the first night was awful because of the air con which was not working, the next day we changed the room for the one with the sea view (its really worth to pay more to get that room, otherwise you might get something complety different 🥴). I must say that food is quite a dissappointment- for breakfast you get a lot of gluten, the only thing from veggies are tomatoes....
