Hotel Castello

The staff was super friendly and very helpful, they arranged for us to rent a car, gave us an upgrade and helped us even at late hours. The location is also good and the view amazing! Will definitely be coming back next time :D

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Castello. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The hotel itself needs some updating (more comfortable bed and bathroom renovations). Breakfast could be better offering more vegetarian options. Overall, the location is wonderful and it is a great option for a family with small children. There are so many beach options within a short distance of the hotel. Free parking was nice too! Golfo Aranci was less hectic than other parts of the island.

Great stay, very clean and very helpful staff. Breakfast good, if not slightly repetitive. Beach was small and very crowded, would have been helpful to know that you needed to book sun beds in advance, we couldn’t get them a couple of times! Overall a good stay and we would definitely come again.

Both the common spaces in the hotel and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The beach is beautiful and there’s public space if you don’t want to pay for the chairs each day.

We were travelling with a group of students and the hotel staff was exceptional. The hotel offers a shuttle service, which was awesome for students who wanted to check out some snorkelling options along the coast. The concierge staff provided our students with great suggestions for fun ways to explore the area.

The staff at Castello is the reason you will want to to return Golfo Aranci. Their hospitality is unparalleled and for that reason alone, I would absolutely recommend you stay here!!! The staff accommodated every need our group had for classroom spaces and meals. They even hosted us in the restaurant for hours after we had checked out and were waiting for an evening bus to catch the night ferry. I felt like we were those guests who wouldn’t leave the party, though it was clearly over, but not once did the staff give that impression!! A special thanks to Gina, Carlo, Francesca and Georgia for being incredible hosts. I truly haven’t seen this level of hospitality anywhere else. Grazie mille!!

Fantastic hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful front desk staff! A great feature is that they have a hotel driver that can bring you anywhere on the Costa Smerelda (they just add the cost to the bill, better price than regular taxi). Also very pleased that they have a fairly priced laundry service. Will hopefully get the opportunity to visit again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I have nothing but good things to say about it. All the hotel staff were amazing, especially to the big group I was with. They helped us with anything we needed and room cleaning was very thorough and well done. The food for breakfast is amazing (especially the croissants and coffee) as well as the other meals they offered. The hotel is right on the beach with a pool and a walkway right to the crystal clear waters and is not overcrowded. I would say my stay here was amazing and this hotel deserves a higher rating. Amazing experience overall and would stay again!

Nice hotel, good breakfast, excellent and very friendly service. The private beach at the beautiful golfo is fantastic.

The hotel is beautiful! Location is right on the beach next to great restaurants. The staff are so nice and accommodating to all the questions and requests we had for trips, food, and cabs rides. The food is delicious and the rooms all have amazing views of the ocean that get cleaned very well. Great experience overall.

I find this hotel is quite underrated. They mentioned new renovations and we were very pleased with the rooms. Location was AMAZING. Right out onto the beach. Beach chairs and umbrella were reasonably priced for the day. Breakfast was good and cappuccino was good! Very very happy for the price we paid. I hope we can make it back one day! Thank you for the hospitality!
