Situated just outside L'Aquila near a quite busy road, but that's about the only downside. Clean rooms, a small but nice swimming pool, but most important an impeccable service and excellent restaurant!

Stayed here twice at the reccomendation of my Italian collegue Dino - An excellent base for working in the area and getting a few hours off to explore the region or relax by the pool. My room even apperently came with an optional "resident cat" to make visitors feel relaxed and right at home, after inspecting my car on arrival.

It's a nice little hotel, even it may not seem from the road. Rooms are nothing fancy but are tidy and clean, food is amazing and the staff is superb. Some little technical problems in some facilities, but nothing major. We held a little company retreat and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended if you need a place where you can focus on work with your team.

Food is amazing! We stayed in the London room, heated tile floors, super clean, great wifi, and personal service that you simply cant get back home. Highly recommended.

I'm giving this five stars out of a price-to-quality ratio. We arrived here tired, after a week of camping, and wanted a hotel in L'Aquila, so we could leave the next morning straight to our flight in Rome. The owner is very kund and helpful. Rooms are confy and give you what you need: a nice shower, good beds and tv. The location is quite far from l'Aquila city, but it is also a good point, the area is very quiet and relaxing. The owner can cook a great dinner and a cappuccino with croissant as breakfast is a perfect way to start in the morning.

The hotel is located a few kilometers from the city of L'Aquila and a few minutes from the state road, therefore in a convenient position for visiting the L'Aquila area. You can breathe and experience a familiar and informal atmosphere that is reconciled with the desire for relaxation and vacation. I really want to praise the hotel staff. I had a situation with my (first) room that it was next to the room with a guest who was obviously unwell - loud coughing and sneezeng, etc. Practically, I could not sleep normaly in the room. Very clean hotel and very good service with helpful people. Unlike other hotels Hotel Canadian has a pool, a gym and a sauna all for free and it also has an amazing breakfast with lots of variates to choose from. We stay at Canadian for 1 night only,but it is very clean and tidy. The position is optimal for work or visit various cities because it's near the highway. It's very quiet and the staff very kindly. Does what it says, good value for money, if you're not too sensitive with mattresses and pillows, breakfast not bad but could do with fresher fruit selection, unsweetened cereals or vegan stuff. Conveniently located for intercity bus travellers. You need transport to get to the centre.

Hotel is within walking distance of L'Aquilia centre with many restaurants etc (although it's about 15 minutes uphill).

Perfect position right below the Spanish Fort. I left my car in the parking lot for two days and walked all over L'Aquila. The room was clean and service was great.

This was a very nice 🏨. We 👫stayed two nights and it was clean and the bed 🛏️ was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the manager even sent someone to the laundromat with us to translate so we could get our clothes washed and dried. The breakfast 🍜 was delicious and they were very helpful in getting us a early 🌄 morning taxi 🚕. I would definitely recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone.

Very nice place to stay in the vicinity of the castle Forte Spagnolo. The rooms are in brand new conditions, rather large, and impeccably clean. The bathrooms are equipped in a hairdryer, bidet, and modern shower with many options. The shower may be a bit small for large people. Free breakfast offers a wide variety of croissants, pastry, jellies, and fruit to choose from. Excellent choice in L'Aquila

The first time we stayed at the San Michele was over 20 years ago when looking for a small business / vacation hotel. We have stayed here several times both before and after the devastating earthquake in l'Aqulia . The construction after that earthquake was the largest project in the EU and is scheduled to be completed in 2026 when l'Aqulia will emerge as the cultural center of Italy.

Nice business hotel in l'Aquila. Conveniently located in the center and close to the old town. First I have to say the service at the front desk and the breakfast was impeccable. The gentleman at the front desk was professional, kind and welcoming and this made the difference to my stay.

Receptionist was wonderful and helpful, provided us with lots of recommendations of where to visit locally. Outdoor swimming pool was relaxing, hotel grounds are well kept. Rooms were up to date and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Stayed here 3 nights. Parking was good. There was a wedding and that was nice. Affordable with good breakfast included. Cute dog outside begging for food. Room was a good size. Overall good experience.

After a great snow day! We went to the Cristallo hotel where there is a very nice and welcoming bar and the helpful and very kind staff. We met Alessia from the bar who gave us all the information to go on the snow and she was helpful and nice. We will be back :)!

Bicycle tourist here. Your bike can go in an unused basement that has fogged glass and is locked, with entry only by the staff.
