Excellent! This place is a gem! Quiet, very clean, cozy. The rooms are large, all with a balcony offering great views of the mountains around Lecco. In 5 minutes you can walk to the cute old town of Pescarenico by the river. The breakfasts of Signora Ornella are amazing!

We were given a very generous breakfast including biscuits, bread, pastries, variety ham, yoghurt, milk, tea, coffee and juice boxes! Completed the stay with a hearty breakfast to perfection! Location is easily accessible by car and parking along the road wherever possible. Our host, Andrea was very responsive by message and gave clear instructions. Would highly recommend!

Lovely room, clean, spacious and good breakfast. Good location, just a short drive to Lecco and a good base to explore nearby villages.

Clean rooms, only minus low mattress. Tv in a small and distant room. The timed thermostat is useful. The common area is clean and equipped with everything you can eat for breakfast, capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster and last but not least the mini dishwasher. Owner, even if only heard by phone, always present and available. We missed the human check-in a little bit.

I stayed with my husband and son for two nights in June. Really very nice structure, spacious room, super clean, attention to detail and excellent organization of the check in that you can do independently. Well stocked breakfast kitchen. Quiet area. Packed with functional details, including a smart TV where you can link your Netflix, prime, etc. accounts. in a convenient area, not too central, but where it is easy to find parking very close. Very clean and quiet place. Owners are nice We only stay for one night. Cool breakfast area with cafe machine and full fridge so you can serve yourself or cook diner if you stay longer. Lots of vintage furniture and a small terrace makes this place interesting.

Small house renovated with great care and well maintained. Excellent cleaning of the rooms very friendly and helpful manager. The only flaw is little attention to breakfast where it is offered only with packaged products, personally I would have preferred less choice but with fresh products (what's better than fresh bread for breakfast!).

Very charming place with a super friendly host! We had a family room with place for 5 to sleep, and air conditioning, which was very helpfull with the temperatures. We got directions on where we could go and eat in the neighbourhood upon our arrival. Very kind person towards our kids, and they loved the (lazy) dog!

Wonderful friendly Christina who showed us around and gave us advice for the local area (including mechanics when our car went wrong!). Lovely building, big bathroom.

The fairy garden is a lovely, welcoming and relaxing place. Emanuela the owner is fantastic, she does everything to make herself available and not to make you miss anything. Comfortable and spacious environment, strong point, reserved parking which is a real gem. I recommend to everyone.

The manager was a very nice lady, helpful, she advised us many things about for example where to eat, she also gave us good discounts on a restaurant in the area .. Speaking of the room, it is not a room, but practically a mini apartment. Breakfast included, which we could have in the room. We found many types of coffee, tea, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, suchi, milk...

Excellent breakfast. They also run a restaurant, it is one of the best restaurants in Lake Como. The only regret we had was that we didn’t eat there for a second night thinking we would try somewhere else.

What a fantastic place! A lovely family run b&b with restaurant below with exceptional food! Breakfast was plentiful, all fresh and locally gathered. Owners very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help us with late arrival by leaving keya out and accommodating us with a crib and high chair for our baby. Quiet and peaceful after a long day of driving. Not so easy to find a parking spot later in the day.

Our room was very neat and the food was amazing. I follow a vegan diet and the kitchen crew was innotative in order to take my wishes into consideration. The hosts took great care of us as well. I really recommend!

Beautiful room and perfect place to stay in lake Como in the quiet Mandello del Lario, far away from crowds and overall a much more enjoyable experience. Great attention to detail and nice touches. Bathroom was superb!

Superb location, a few minutes walk from the train station and the ferry landing station making it an ideal base for visiting other parts of the lake. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functional, the staff are very friendly and the price is very reasonable. The short version: The atmosphere, the food, the drink, and the staff at Mama Ciccio's are all amazing 5/5 undoubtedly. BUT, the beds are real cheap. The mattresses are thin and quite firm, and some of the frames lack support and dip in the center. This makes for a lackluster to outright poor sleeping experience depending on your preference and how stable your frame is. Inquire the staff for accommodations...

Incredible food, best I've had in Italy thus far & I'm at the END of my trip! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's not on the water, but I would say a better experience by far. Take your time to enjoy the atmosphere in the water until sunset, then tantalize your taste buds with the food and wine here. You MUST see the wine cellar, enjoy a tasting & endulge on the recs.

Lovely little hotel in Mandello, a bit 'faded' but clean, spacious rooms, great restaurant and charming helpful service. Nice little terrace for breakfast/dining/aperitivi and ideally placed for everything. Recommended!

Enjoyed our pasta dishes. Prawns were slightly overcooked. Pizzas and calzones going out to other tables looked really good. Service was friendly and efficient.

Amazing pizza ! Though service is pretty low and needs improvement... We had to wait to place the order and get the drinks for really long time. Drinks were served only after the pizzas arrived. Two pizza orders were mixed - got Napoli instead of Napoletano. Yes it was busy, but I'm not sure if they were understaffed or simply disorganized.

Wonderful, quaint, warm and very friendly staff make this hotel a must-stay. Nestled in the woods above a river, it is a peaceful and beautiful spot just a couple miles above the shore of Lake Como. Restaurant is excellent and lots of parking. Be prepared for a tricky turn down into the hotel parking lot, but once you do it, it's totally easy.Highly recommend it!!!

An absolute beauty of a place to stay. The views are incredible. As was the food! Lovely and welcoming staff. We visited during the heatwave, touring on our motorbike and was greeted by the lady at reception with a cold bottle of water. The food was freshly made and the service was great. The hotel is out in the sticks but I would highly recommend visiting for the views and the food!

Nice staff, nice owner - they are very helpful and speak good English. The place is quiet and between green hills, with a spectacular view on Mandello and the lake. Rooms are nice and clean and offer everything that you need.

We loved our four night stay at Villa Lario. We were in the Bellagio Suite with a balcony looking over the lake and highly recommend. We spent our days visiting Varenna, Bellagio, Lecco with our rental car and enjoyed coming back in the afternoon and spending the rest of the day on our balcony drinking wine and ordering dinner from Amaranda. Situated on the outskirts of Mandello, Villia Lario resort is a quiet and intimate experience. We stayed 2 days at Villa Lario and had a fantastic stay. Hotel and scenery was spectacular, culinary experience the same and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend everbody to go and visit and get the same experience.

Best B&B I have ever stayed in.

Wonderful place to rest and charge your battery. Laura is super empathetic and knows what her visitors want. The accommodation is super clean and there is lots to do once you’re back on energy (swimming, hiking, strolling and of course eating). I would always go back!

Very nice B&B on Lake Como, just above Mandello. The room is not huge, but it is very clean, comfortable, british style. Abundant and quality breakfast. The lady who runs it is very kind and helpful. The house has a great view of the lake.

Maria was a wonderful host, and I would definitely stay here again. The location is very peaceful, and the garden is lovely. There isn't much things in walking distance however, so if you want to be very close to services this maybe isn't your place. The room was lovely, but the bed was a bit hard for my liking.
