Hotel Lilly

We spent a week at the Lilly hotel on a breakfast-only basis.
The room we had was overlooking the pine forest and the swimming pool, very quiet and peaceful; (very nice and clean pool). The door leading to the terrace does not have a handle on the outside, perhaps this should be reviewed (in fact we accidentally locked ourselves out on the terrace and called to be opened).
Regarding breakfast I expected a little more choice
The location is convenient and strategic

It is the first time we have spent our holidays in this hotel, it certainly won't be the last.
Friendly staff, excellent welcome.
Our rooms were small but by our choice, clean, daily change of linen.
Satisfactory breakfast, excellent dinners with generous portions.

My husband, I and our dog Zoe were guests of the Lilly hotel. It was a wonderful week. Welcomed with kindness and professionalism, we can only say positive things, Mrs. Caterina and her husband are very attentive to everything that may be useful to a guest, the staff is very young and very efficient. The food is very good and the rooms are perfectly clean. We will come back for sure.

I stayed at the Lilly hotel with my husband.
We had a great time.
The room was small as stated when booking because it was the last one available but with everything you need inside.
Furnishings are not modern but well maintained and impeccably clean.
The presence of a minibar to have water, drinks and, if necessary, medicines in the fridge is very welcome.
Very welcoming family run business that pays attention to customer needs.
Catering with various choices and genuine cuisine.
Very large common areas with numerous windows that make the environment very bright.
Externally space with tables, chairs and a beautiful swimming pool with umbrellas, tables, sunbeds and new deckchairs.
Fundamental presence of ample parking.
Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with 2 motorcycles. Super friendly and everything was very clean. Sufficient clothes hangers available. Cleaning was carried out every day and the towels were also changed. Excellent location to the beach and also to the restaurants in town. The best starting point for motorcycle tours on the Elbe. At breakfast - especially the coffee there is still room for improvement, otherwise everything is perfect.

I stayed with my wife and my 10 year old son for two weeks in August and we had a very good time. The rooms are simple but functional while the common areas are comparable to a higher category hotel. Impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and common areas and genuine and varied catering (in two weeks I think I've seen at most one course offered again). The car park is very convenient where it was never necessary to "elbow" to find a place to return from the beaches. The swimming pool is a jewel in the crown that allows you to relax at the end of the day and let the children take wonderful dives and have fun like crazy. The hotel is really located a stone's throw from the beach in the portion that in our opinion is the best of Marina di Campo. In front there is a wonderful pine forest which brings refreshment to the structure in the evening, however it is located in one of the quietest areas of Marina di Campo (the center of which can be truly chaotic on certain evenings). We have also found that family management is a real strong point of the hotel which also guarantees direct contact in the dining room and the possibility of resolving any requests instantly. The center can be easily and safely reached in 10 minutes on foot either via the internal road or from the wonderful seaside promenade. However, as a starting point for improvement, I suggest Caterina and Stefano consider the possibility of introducing some bicycles to allow even the laziest to reach the center more quickly.

Our second summer vacation at the Hotel Lilly was simply fantastic. Our dog was as warmly welcomed as we were, which was the decisive factor in booking the hotel again.
We had a room with a huge balcony and a view of the sea.
The multi-course dinner offered was traditional, very tasty and absolutely affordable in price. The food was so delicious that we ate at the hotel almost every evening, as did almost all of the other hotel guests. We originally wanted to go out more often, but that was very difficult for us because of the great food and hospitality.
Our dog was always able to accompany us to dinner, whether it was breakfast or dinner, as the dog owners' individually assigned tables were all arranged at a distance from each other so that the other guests were not disturbed.
The hotel has a great location almost directly on the beach (approx. 100m), and about 1km walk along the beach promenade to the town center.
You don't need your own car within the town and can therefore leave it in the back yard of the hotel.
The large hotel pool is perfect if there is too much hustle and bustle on the beach.
We can fully recommend this very pleasant and owner-managed hotel!

Recommended experience.
the structure is old but it is clean and well maintained, the restaurant service is valid and varied.
Located less than 5 minutes walk from the sea, its strong point is value for money! A must?? service! Friendly staff available to satisfy all our needs.
And I admit that I tested them hard with a very lively 2 year old girl and I broke my foot during the holiday....
The bright and large common areas on the ground floor are also beautiful. In short.... if I return to Elba it will be my choice again!
