Strategic position to reach the center of Massa Marittima on foot, with a breakfast room overlooking the hills, fantastic! Simple rooms but nothing missing, clean and quiet. Abundant breakfast with everything and more! 😍 Used as a support to go to Cala Violina, which is about 30km away! The helpful and kind staff, convenient and ample parking!!

Big flaw is the lack of air conditioning units in rooms but as I learned this is common in all farm like hotels in all tuscany and maybe all Italy(?)

At night its not a problem in August as the temp drops to 24-25 degrees C but at 35 C during halfday its a problem .

I returned after several years and it remains my favorite hotel in Massa Marittima. Family run, breakfast with very good products including homemade jams and cakes, basic but comfortable rooms. A little gem that makes you feel at home.

Fantastic hotel that I come to as soon as I can every summer. The location of the swimming pool overlooking the valley of olive trees is fantastic. The center of Massa Marittima is just 10 minutes away on foot. Friendly and professional staff. Also highly recommended for the price.

Breakfast is at 8. Since I leave at 7 to work, the girl made sure we had something ready early in the morning.

Everything was top. The rooms were clean, the staff was awesome, the pool is great. Really pretty resort with very very nice and fun staff.

The Rosmarino room confirms the description, retro style but clean, even in the bathroom, in addition to detergents, there was a body cream, no bidet but there is a comfortable shower to do so. Side view of the stairs leading to the swimming pool, if you look out you can see a bit of greenery. The whole hotel has an enchanting view into the green valleys. Air conditioner works well, I would add an extra socket and a fridge. Lots of mosquitoes and geckos wandering around but we are in the countryside. Very convenient tree-lined parking. Perfect location, crossing the road, you go up towards Massa Marittima in a few minutes, wonderful, the square with the cathedral takes your breath away, the heat too ah ah. Follonica and the coast just 20 minutes by car. Breakfast under the beautiful porch, well done, jam made by them, various types of honey (they are on sale), sweets and I even found for myself (I announced that I am vegan) spreadable chocolate, packaged croissants and biscuits, I liked making myself toast, good coffee, vegetable drinks I don't know I didn't want to ask.
Some exteriors need some tidying up, you can see that there is a newer part, I saw, also from the online images, the beautiful superior rooms while they were open for cleaning. Swimming pool and greenery around also to be rearranged, clean and functional, thanks to the helpfulness of the owners it was possible for us to have lunch by the pool, asking for a salad or a sandwich, watermelon, an aperitif, honest prices, I didn't want more, a incredible peace. Thanks again

Due to the remote location, getting here without a car was fairly challenging. Although Sandra at reception was very helpful and friendly to us settling in. She also happened to be the most confident in English speaking which made it easier to resolve any issues we had. Sandra helped us get a taxi sorted to the nearest train station and went out of her way to purchase us suncream as we didn’t have a car to leave the resort. Her kindness went a long way for us travelling through Italy and we hope she knows it didn’t go unnoticed.
