Hotel Margherita

The staff were so helpful! They were friendly and made our stay wonderful.
They helped with keeping our bags at the front desk while we walked around all day. Excellent towel service for the beach too. Thanks for everything!

The service here was amazing. They will hold your luggage before you check in and then they even brought it to the room for us. Everyone who worked there was super friendly. Very convenient location, just a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants.

Wonderful to experiences at hotel margarita. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well AC’d.
Breakfast very good, and a nice deck for drink service from their bar. Perfect experience and value!

When we arrived at this hotel for a 3 day stay, as part of a 7 week European holiday, I had already become very ill. My partner had no Italian, so the staff took on the task of calling an ambulance to take me to hospital. They also interpreted news from the hospital for the week I was there and made many calls on my partner's behalf to help organise my safe return back to Australia. They did everything possible to make his week at the hotel less stressful too. They prepared a special breakfast for us on the morning of our departure, gave him a selection of lovely fresh fruit to snack on during his stay and prepared packed lunches at no cost for his long train journeys to visit me. They also drew maps and gave him directions for changing trains on the 4 hour trip to visit me. Everybody involved themselves in assisting us - the lovely ladies and Richard at Reception, the wonderful kitchen staff, the cleaning staff and Manager Daniella who was still acting on our behalf after we left! We were astounded at the kindness we received, always with a big smile.
Oh and the room was very comfortable. The hotel has been beautifully upgraded and refurnished since I was there last. The Margherita is centrally located, so an easy walk to anywhere in the little town. Magical place, but it was the people who made our memories so special. We are already planning our next trip back. Thank you to all at Hotel Margherita!

GREAT HOTEL AT A VERY UNIQUE LOCATION!
we stayed in this hotel for four days and I cannot describe how clean and well run this hotel is. Every staff member including employees at the reception, as well as in the breakfast has been very helpful. They all speak English. They are willing to help you for every part of your trip. Breakfast is excellent room service is wonderful. I am surprised that this hotel is ranked as three stars, Even though it is not a resort, I am willing to give them a five star review. Monterosso Is a very pleasant town with incredible views, and the hotel is located right at the historic village, where everything is in a walking distance. I would recommend them without any reservation, and we certainly will come back here and stay with them again.

Stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Margherita in room 204 (see pictures for a beautiful balcony overlooking the main strip)
Hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, versed well in English and were patient with us as we stumbled through speaking rudimentary Italian.
The breakfast provided was standard Italian breakfast, nothing too “special” other than saving a few euro for later (more wine!)
A lovely hotel that we both fell in love with!

If I could give this hotel more stars I would!! We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, with the best recommendations for local places to eat. We had the most amazing seafood pasta as a result. The rooms were clean and modern. It is true from other reviews that we could hear other guests coming in and out but it didn’t bother us. Location is amazing near shops and restaurants. Breakfast has a great range and the most attentive and friendly crew. Highly recommended!

What an amazing staff this hotel has! The best service I’ve had with the most wonderful people. The hotel is located conveniently in Monterosso but what really stands out about it is how welcoming and helpful the staff are. We’ve had some pretty unique requests that they attended to with a large smile and a lot of attentiveness. I would like to particularly thank Eliza for her kind support but everyone was amazing and went above and beyond! Really recommend staying here if you are coming to Monterosso

We had a lovely time at this hotel, tucked away in a quiet part of
Monterosso Al Mare. It's a very clean space, simple and has all the accomadations you could need.
Stephan, the concierge, went above and beyond all my expectations. He gave us delicious morning pastries hot from the bakery and even showed up with them when we were leaving early.
Also, I left two items there and he was kind enough to go to the trouble of shipping them to the US for me. A very sweet thing to do.
