Caravel Bike Hotel

Wonderful hotel location, a picturesque lakeside surrounded by mountains just a 3-minute walk away. You can reach Riva del Garda on foot along the scenic lakeside promenade or by bus. Other towns are also easily accessible by public transport. Very friendly staff, only positive emotions. Clean and comfortable rooms; the only disadvantage is the not-so-good sound isolation and the absence of an iron. Breakfast is excellent, and there’s also the option of having dinner at the hotel for an additional €30 in buffet format. Thank you for a wonderfully spent time.

Stayed here with the tour group. Very smooth check-in with friendly and professional receptionist. Food for both, dinner and breakfast, was above expectations. All the staff was really friendly.
Rooms are simple, but have everything you need.
All the facilities are clean. Recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised by the location! Although there is more to do on the south side, this location on the north side is more beautiful and quiet/less touristy. We also loved the service we got from all the receptionists! They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with any question that we had. Their complimentary breakfast was also phenomenal and very substantial. Only thing is that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors. Thankfully they weren’t loud too late. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a convenient parking lot and the breakfast is amazing both in quality and variety. It is really worth it.

The rooms are good, nothing special but the bathroom has a small box to take a shower.

Despite of this point, I would come back certainly.

From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble, from ordering us taxis and arranging excursions, to recommending good restaurants nearby. The rooms were immaculately clean and every one of the staff were just incredibly polite, caring, helpful and friendly, the food excellent and we had an amazing stay. Our only criticism would be that the beds were very hard and the pillows also.

It was very pleasant to stay in this house. Very friendly employees, excellent breakfast, clean rooms and pool area, also dog-friendly AND the first bike cellar I trusted during my trip. If it’s good enough for the pro cyclists here, it’s good enough for me too. 😉 I stayed in two different rooms (one very silent, the other a bit more noisy but nothing dramatic) and even the small single one had a balcony. Top!

This year was the third year I’ve visited Caravel Bike Hotel in Torbole. I highly recommend this hotel.

You will be welcomed by Marcello, who is the manager and had been the face of the hotel for a long time. He is very kind and will go all the way to make sure you have a great stay. The reception also includes Roberto (who even speaks Dutch) and Ivan. Both are happy faces to see and are very friendly and helpful. The reception will provide you with all the information needed. From where to rent bikes to what museums to visit. If they don’t know the answer to your tourism related question, they will find out and come back to you as soon as possible.

Breakfast/restaurant service is run by Renata, Hena, Christian, Rudina, Marina (I think) and the chef Gianpaolo. With Renata in charge, breakfast and diner are run very smoothly. Hena, Christian, Rudina and Marina serve and retrieve dishes. They all work hard and fast, my compliments! Gianpaolo is a great chef that makes wonderful food. Breakfast is comprehensive and diner has been a variation of international dishes. The above mentioned personnel are very nice, service oriented, speak multiple languages and will make sure your stay is up to high standards.

I would also like to mention housekeeping. They work hard and the rooms are cleaned well every day.

The hotel is located at the best spot in my opinion. As it is 100 meters from Torbole center, but has a bit more peace than the actual center. Parking is in front of the hotel and included in the price. Other hotels in Torbole also have parking but some have a parking area 10 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel has a dedicated bike storage with camera security. The pool is very clean and the lobby/bar at the ground floor is cosy and well designed. The rooms are of a good size, have a good size bathroom and I think they all have a balcony. Rooms are also isolated well and I’ve stayed at the road side for the last three years and slept very well.

The big plus at this hotel is the staff. All are very kind and will give you a personalised stay. I highly recommend booking at Caravel Hotel. I look forward staying there again. Grazie tutti e ci vediamo l’anno prossimo!

Very nice place to stay, located in the centre, 2 min walk to beach, great breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful stuff, cosy and clean rooms, bike room including tools. Only the parking spots are a bit narrow so please park carefully and considerately to other guests.
