AC is not working or not working properly the next day. The bathroom is badly designed. Water splashed out of the tub /glass frame. There is not much room to sit on the toilet. They were able to accommodate 5 people in one room. There are 2 rooms inside a room. TV is only in Italian. However, there's a dedicated channel for tennis. Breakfast was good. Good view as we were right across the beach/marina

Very good room service. Every day we had our room cleaned and a great service provided by reception staff. Great location and plenty of off-road paid parking available on a first come, first service basis. Great place for morning breakfast as well.

For me It’s always a pleasure to stay at Astura palace. For people coming from India/SOA bring your water bottles from nearby grocery store or supermarket for your stay, it’s not provided as a part of stay package.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Great view from the balcony. Room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is pleasant too. Can't fault the place at all.

I spent almost a week here. The staff was amazing! Very helpful, polite and gracious. Answered every question I had. A very walkable area whether you wanted to see the Medieval part of the city, need a the ATM machine or a place to eat. Very safe place with attractions including the beach close. Relaxing above all. I'll be coming again.

Only For One Night. The mattress is uncomfortable, the bathroom outdated. Convenient because in the city center.

The hotel was centrally located, staff was very helpful and let us leave our bags at the desk after checkout so we could walk down to the beach and the port before catching our train. We were comfortable in our room which was clean, and when We closed the windows and shutters, was quiet. Breakfast was limited but the items were fresh. This is not a luxury hotel, but gave us good service.

For several years in August, for about two weeks, my wife and I have been staying at the "La Bussola" hotel in Anzio. We are very satisfied with the service and the welcome given to us: it feels like home.

I’ve stayed here with my family and it’s amazing. A short walk from a amazing beach. The hotel pool is lovely and quiet. The staff are fantastic. They are so accommodating helping us. The food they serve is lovely and delicious. I would come back here in a heartbeat. All staff are lovely would recommend it to everyone. See you next year!!!!

Feel relaxed. No one bothered. Facilities are 80's but hoteliers are friendly even can't speak english but enough to get what we wanted. The best part was : be accepted as local people. Nice small beach is just 2min working distant. All free to use. The beach located restaurant recommendable : wonderful dinner starter!!!

Loved the private pool/beach. Nice and clean rooms. Rented a car for the weekwe where there, so everything we wanted to see, Was within driving Range. Great hotel for ppl like us, with No need to live in the central part of Rome.

Currently staying during off season. It is reasonable for the cost. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast is good especially for the price - free.

The room is nice and cleaned. Have a nice view of the beach. But the I don’t like about our stay here are the breakfast and the staffs are not friendly to even gave us smile or greeted us back. And also not near the train station, there’s a shuttle buses but the receptionist don’t know the scheduled time.

The room was comfortable with a great view, a pleasent 10m walk to restaurants cafes etc. Staff are outstanding. As no taxis available one drove us to station in a storm. That is customer service. It's not a flash place but earns rating for kindness

We had an exceptional stay at the beautiful little hotel. The building is in a wonderful location right in the walkable center of Anzio and next to the beach. The breakfast was delicious. It felt very Covid safe with the food spread displayed behind a glass case. Try the homemade cakes!

Really nice hotel at a perfect location between the free beach and the city centre of Anzio. Nice clean rooms, some with fantastic beach-front balconies.

Very nice, facing the seaside, a blend of classic hotel (nice garden in the back of the building) and modern (refurbished room). Fair breakfast, nice staff. A bit noisy in the evening as for the people on the seawalk, if you choose a room facing the garden the problem is solved (but you will loose the view) ;-)

Really good location - at the waterfront. Roms are fine - not big,not small - a little bit outdated but fine. They serve simple breakfast - but it was enough for us. Close to many restaurants and shops. Would recommend!

Everything is excellent in the hotel, especially the vicinity of the sea, the terrace and the view but the staff doesn't speak English.

Great location close to Anzio Colonia station great Seaview room great family owned hosts who were very welcoming and helpful. breakfast was great with lots of choices. 1hr train ride from Rome. Would definately stay there again .

Fairly priced hotel with spacious clean rooms, air conditioning, high-quality breakfast, and sea views. In less than 20 mins you can reach Anzio city center. The only one con is the noice from the road.

Great little hotel, lovely owner, breakfast very nice with a great view. The roof top pool was particularly nice, and actually well heated for once! Sea view rooms have a lovely balcony and view. Highly recommend, will likely stay again!

Fantastic hotel, great facilities and staff. They work to a really high standard and are very friendly. Will definitely be back. 10min walk to the main Anzio town. 5min from beach. The rooftop pool is a great sun trap also.

Where's the bad? The woman at the front desk was LOVELY!! The gentleman who served the latte and cappucino was amazing. So cordial. We had gotten robbed in Rome and had a horrible vacation - until we met them and they made us feel so safe, warm and inviting. AND it's on the water! As I stated before, where's the bad?

Staff are very helpfull and speak pretty good english for a region with few british visitors. There is no pool or bar but with the beautiful beach directly across the road, with all the neccesary amenities it really isn't an issue. I was there for the spa service. I really love it: a little area where u can stay in piece and quite with your partner. Wonderful massage and lovely jacuzzi with cromotherapy

A little tiny rooms and bathroom, but location is OK. Swimming pool is very nice. Plenty of restaurants are within few minutes by walking.

Firstly family run business very friendly owners nothing was too much, my visit was a cycling holiday due to the expense of my bikes the owners allocated a secure room for me which was very much appreciated a big thank you to the owners.

Despite the 2 stars I would say that it has everything you need to have a nice stay. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I recommend it for those who need to book in the area and would gladly stay there again.

It's the best place to relax and recharge. Luisa and Paolo (the hosts) are super helpful and lovely people, it's like being part of their family. The whole place is always clean, the view is beautiful (especially at sunset). The breakfasts are delicious, you can have baked goods (croissants, cakes), ask for ham&eggs, fruit and cheese plates or basically whatever you desire.
