Fantastic resort. Lovely food. No shops or bars nearby. Syracuse is the nearest town. Shuttle bus into Syracuse should be more regular instead of only twice per day.

A very good summer option. There are multiple swimming areas. My only complaints are that the wifi isn't accessible in all area, the buffet options weren't very diverse and that our dog wasn't able to be with us in all areas. I would like to personally thank the manager of Arethusa, he was very helpful, generous and friendly.

This is a very Italian resort, very few visitors from anywhere else. It is quiet most of the time and appears to be designed for (Italian) families with very young children, for more elderly people but not teenagers or adults who want to do more than sit around the 2 pools or on the nearby private beach. There is no easily accessible transport to anywhere outside the resort itself- no buses, nothing...

An absolutely fantastic beach and a second lido-like decked beach, though both can get quite busy. Note that at the beach the front three lines of sunbeds are reserved for "superiore" guests of the hotel, and the rest are packed together in the back rows (even though the front three rows remained empty). We opted for sunbathing by the rocks, so bring your own umbrella. Food at the resort was overall...

Excellent B&B, clean, with spacious room. 15 minutes driving to Siracusa and 5 minutes to nearby beach. Nice staff and very tasty breakfast.

Structure well located and with a beautiful garden, less than 1/2 hour from the center of Syracuse and Noto. Convenient parking with electronic gate. Well furnished and clean rooms and common areas. Wonderful position, close to Siracusa and to amazing beaches (such as Gelsomineto or Fontane Bianche). Very good breakfast, and very gentle people, with wonderful service. Also the room are very clean. We enjoyed our staying!

Nice place with swimming pool and a lot of green around, cute cats too. Clean place and they make you feel like you are part of the family. Everyday fresh pastries and brioches, granita too. Forget about the clock and enjoy it.

Great B&B , lovely people, very clean, and very helpful, they also have a very nice swimming pool, but bear in mind that's also used by a swimming club and it's open to the public, but still it was very clean. Breakfast was simple but good.

Great place for family with kids

We stayed 3 days in this structure practically on the sea. Very kind and extremely helpful managers. It is located 50 m from the sea with a choice of rocks or beach. Splendid sea! A few km from Plemmirio, a protected marine area, which offers glimpses of the splendid sea and surprising beaches. Have a nice holiday ... The structure is a bit dated.

Everything was great! The owners Daniela, Ludovica and Angelo were very welcoming and helpful. We thank them for everything! The hotel has a very good location, comfortable and close to the beach. We loved this place and will go back there again. :)

The water was so impressive, pristine and clear. The venue itself is pretty big, definitely recommend booking online beforehand as there are two queues when you arrive, one with bookings and those without. Two sunbeds and umbrella was €26, parking just in front for €4 all day, small snack of Caprese salad and two waters was €9 (very busy at lunchtime so be prepared to wait in line)

Big sandy beach, pretty crowded, the dark side is the club which take a large part of the beach and the car park. Better to arrive early. Water is cool and clear.

Beautiful beach we discovered in the middle of a family holiday. Adults had to pay for access, but children were allowed in free to use loungers and umbrella. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced, and absolutely fantastic beach and water - provided the relaxation we needed. There is no easy public travel service we could find, but a taxi from Syracuse cost approx 20 Euro

Clean beach, comfortable sunbeds, good customer services, but the pasta was not very tasty, the granita seems to be industrial with dry brioches. The prawn were amazing. Table were clean with a beautiful view.

First of all, Arenella has an advantageous location for travelling around south of Sicily. It's just one hour driving by car from Catania airport, 15 min from Siracusa, and also within one hour to most of local places of interest (Noto, Modica, Marzamemi etc). Maria is a great hostess. She prepares a fresh and varied breakfast every day. While the rooms are not that modern, they have always been clean and have air conditioning. We can only recommend the B&B! Maria also gave us good travel tips for the stay and even made a restaurant reservation for us.

Amazing villa with Pool, great location not far from Syracuse. Make sure you have a hire car to get about it as not much near Villa. Lovely beaches cycling distance away. Perfect place to call home for 10 days

Beautiful structure located in a strategic position to go to the beach (within walking distance) and to reach the beautiful places located in the surrounding area. Large rooms equipped with air conditioning, mini fridge and coffee machine with pods that the owner makes available for free. We thank the owner always very kind and helpful and a greeting to Tommy! Donna Coraly is a beautiful hotel and setting, the staff were amazing and so friendly, it was a very comfortable stay from the moment we arrived. The rooms are charming, and the grounds are so beautiful and well kept. There are 2 pools, one is perfect for lounging and the other you can do some lengths. Breakfast had everything you need, and the restaurant was delicious. Really recommend staying here...

It is a lovely country boutique hotel hidden away but worth the search, Google maps take you into the back and beyond, the hotel will send directions you should follow. Great room, lovely food, friendly service, wonderful family feel to the place. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This must have been the best places that I have stayed anywhere in my life. The owner and all the staff were amazing and attentive.

Daniela and family were just amazing, they are what makes this accommodation so perfect! We arrived late, from the north, Daniela gave great advice and research all the time to help lower our stress that day. Every effort to make our stay enjoyable was made. Breakfast was great, room was great, beach straight across the road - although we stayed at Arenella Beach Rooms, not Samoa Beach.

The staff were very helpful - we made a last minute booking because we had to do a late cancellation at an Airbnb. We stayed in the annex to the Samoa Beach at Arenella Rooms hotel - which was very comfortable.

Wonderful stay with Francesco, very welcoming and available for all your expectations. We are so good there that it is difficult to go home. The accommodations are correct and spacious with basic but sufficient equipment. The park is very pleasant and well laid out with a swimming pool just for you because very few people. After four years we had again a wonderful time at Sant`Elia: commodious apartments with convenient facilities, atmosperic terraces and gardens, and - last but not least - a fabulous swimming pool in a rural environment. Lovely hosts. Fresh local products make a fantastic breakfast - not what you would expect in Italy! The location is great. Between lemon trees and fennel fields. Birds wake you up in the morning. All the historic sights and beautiful little towns of the southeast part of sicily are within short reach, but also Etna, Catania and Taormina are doable in a day. Car is a must though. Definitely a recommendation...

The place is pretty isolated which is great for peace and quiet. The venue looks newly done up, furniture is modern. the kitchen is user friendly and the pool is a good size and cleaned daily. Everything worked and the tv was broken but was replaced the day after even though we never used it. The parking space has a canopy which means your car remains cool and out of the sun.

Enchanting place .. a real happy oasis immersed in the quiet of the Syracusan countryside a few steps from all the places of greatest historical and archaeological interest and from some of the most important oases and nature reserves ..
