The hotel is spotlessly clean and perfectly located near the port, making it very convenient, especially for travelers without a car. The staff were all friendly and polite, which made the stay even more pleasant.
While the facilities are a bit dated and I did hear some occasional noise from the bathroom plumbing, in an area with limited accommodation options, this hotel remains a reliable and comfortable choice.
Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend it.
That said, for those traveling by car, there might be more cost-effective options further away from the port.
Also, it might not be ideal for guests who are very sensitive to noise or looking for more modern facilities.

The desk staff are incredibly nice ladies, always welcoming.
The rooms are old and charming, minimally decorated (my favorite) - I extended my stay to enjoy the open window breeze. Not modern, enjoyably so.
An easy walk in to town, or a ferry over to La Maddalena. Will return!

As a family of four, with two adults and two children (12 and 15 years old), we stayed here in 2024. The room was exceptionally affordable, the staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was very plentiful. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed 1 night and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. You could smell mold all over the room, mattresses were covered in mold and dirt. Bathroom was in horrible state, broken and rusty. From the walls there were unprotected wires sticking out. There was no daylight as windows were covered and cloth stapled over them. We complained, staff was friendly and communication was ok. They gave us different room which was in decent shape bit then we found huge cockroaches in it. Real nightmare… We had breakfast included but I can not judge on it as we decided to eat somewhere else.

Lovely place to stay at night, but in the morning the cleaning lady drags the chairs across the floor of neighboring rooms so we were up by 8 am , comes in without knocking ( this happened all 3 mornings we were there), and then says reception said we checked out...

A nice hotel with comfortable rooms and beds. Piccada includes a free breakfast in the morning comparable to any hotel in Italy. Many great food options for lunch and dinner are nearby. It is located in a great beach town with great views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby islands. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. The location is very good and the personel was very nice. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are a little bit old but the beds where very comfortable. I slept very good. If i ever come back to palau i will go here again.
