This place was perfect for us and what we needed. The rooms are spacious, airy, fresh, and clean. Nice balcony. Housekeeping came everyday. Water hot. Has pools. A little beach space next to a forested area. Breakfast included, with eggs. Seems like some tour groups lodge here, and they seem to be enjoying. Simple place with convenient location. We spent 2 relaxing weeks. The location was good as well as our room. We really appreciated the maitre Carlo, always kind and available to every guest. We will come back again to Club Esse Posada.

Great location for a quiet vacation in a small dreamy Sardinian town. The port is only 5 mins walk with quite a few great restaurants. With a car, you can go to all the great beaches around including Madelina in one hour. We stayed in a room with 3 bed. It was cleaned daily, enough space. The only shortcomings were the staff. Good morning. I am now returning from a week's stay at the Capo d'Oro Club Esse residence. Very kind staff and very clean and well-kept environment. Excellent animation. I recommend an excursion organized by Salvatore (a kind and professional person) to the islands of the Maddalena archipelago. .

Great location, comfortable bungalows, great staff. Cleaness 10 out of 10. However not suitable for families with little children. The playground is not maintained and rather dangerous at current state. There were guests complaining about our children whenever they started to play in the swimming pool. Appartments that have very strategic position if you want to travel nord Sardinia, situated in Palau where from you can take the ferry to the LaMaddalena islands. Great hotel. Very friendly staff that gave their best to help. We got a free upgrade to a beatiful room since I mentioned it was part of our honeymoon. Hotel is old fashioned, 70’s style. Needs a refurb. Not worth 4 stars, more 3 star. The view is incredible though, without you might get dissapointed..

Nice hotel right in the centre of Palau! The staff were lovely. Would recommend a trip over to Maddalena as Palau town is a bit quiet. Breakfast was good but quite basic - what you’d expect for the price!

This hotel is very nice. Good style and spacious rooms in a great location. The hospitality is excellent. And there is a nice bar attached with snacks and beverages. My only suggestion would be slight improvements to breakfast which would put it over the top (fresh juice, more fruits and vegetables, etc.).

Our stay at La Vecchia Fonte was ok. We chose it because it was a bit of a last minute booking, they are close to the diving center we were visiting, it has air conditioned rooms and it has a relatively good price when you compare to other properties in the area. My stay in august 2021 was enjoyable. The view, room, cleanliness, and personnel were all excellent. They offered us the best directions and assisted me in planning a surprise birthday celebration. Good facilities, however, the service provided is not up to a 4* hotel: - very aged bed linen and towel (in the picture here it’s not dirty because of me, it’s a way they are normally given). - only basic show gel, no body cream - no kettle/cups in a room - no blankets (they hardly found just one for me for a second night, for a first night they couldn’t arrange anything) - very poor quality breakfast...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. We had a balcony with an amazing view of the harbour. The room was not very big but more than enough for our stay for a couple of days. Else it was very clean and it had a nice bathroom. The walls are rather thin so it can be a bit loud. I can definitely recommend it over all!

The staff is very kind and helpful but this isn’t 4-star hotel service so not great value for the price. You should replace all the plastic product by refillable bottles, add kettle and fridge in the rooms and have comfortable headboards, pillows and mattress. The view from the hotel is really nice, but you can hear easily your neighbors

Beautifully renovated hotel with a great view of La Maddalena. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. Location is walkable to the port about 7-10 min. Breakfast very good as well. Has private parking but looked like only a few spots and some street parking right in front of the hotel.

Lovely place to stay at night, but in the morning the cleaning lady drags the chairs across the floor of neighboring rooms so we were up by 8 am , comes in without knocking ( this happened all 3 mornings we were there), and then says reception said we checked out... All this before 10 a.m. Everything else was fine.

Terrific room on 5th floor overlooking Palau and La Madallena @ Caprera islands. 10 minute to ferry terminal and centre of city.

Breakfast was not so nice. Low quality, not much. Prices for additional services also very high! Room was ok for the price but not very satisfying! No additional blankets, shower had no real curtains and everything was flooded.

Great hotel. The location is very good and the personel was very nice. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are a little bit old but the beds where very comfortable. I slept very good. If i ever come back to palau i will go here again.

A nice hotel with comfortable rooms and beds. Piccada includes a free breakfast in the morning comparable to any hotel in Italy. Many great food options for lunch and dinner are nearby. It is located in a great beach town with great views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby islands. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Friendly receptionists, Cafe worker only speaks Italian, but is very cooperative. Apartment came with own bathroom, extra bedroom and one room for living, cooking and watching TV. Very spacious for two people. Be aware: There is no roomservice and at the end of the stay you have to take out your trash. Very beautiful location next small woods and 5min walk from the beach.

We enjoyed our apartment & its surroundings. Go at the end of the season as we did if you prefer it to be quiet. Staff were nice & helpful. Lots to see in walking distance..

"Hotel" is not the right classification. Did not know about €100 deposit or having to pay extra €10 for towels though. Supply your own toilet paper. Bed is firm but comfortable. Pillows are not.

Gorgeous place! Close to the city but also very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly staff and great food! Their cheap laundry service really saved us! And the dinner at the hotel was super nice. We ate there and then watched the Italy - England final! Only thing I missed is that the double bed didn’t have a top mattress which meant that there was a gap between the beds and it was a bit hard.

Bed very hard but otherwise very comfortable and authentic style room. The shower is very good and the room has a small fridge plus air con and shutters over the window for complete darkness at night.

The hotel is situated on the hill, near the city of Palau. The rooms are spacious, clean and traditionally furbished. It is constructed into a castel and sometimes seems like being in a Greek village. There is a panoramic swimming pool, restaurant where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner via buffet. The beach is about 350 metres far from the reception accessible by a walk path

I had an amazing time in this hotel. I never ever write reviews but I was so overwhelmed by my experience at this hotel that I had to write one. Daniella, Angelica and the other staff at the hotel are phenomenal and so helpful. Breakfast was great and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Very good value for money. Don't expect anything exceptional (with exception of the rock in the middle of the hotel). The rooms are functional and clean. There is a separate bathroom and a balcony on the room. The breakfast was actually good and the cappuccino much better than expected.

Rooms are clean and much more than you would expect for that price. The location is quite nice. You walk less than 10 minutes to the center at the port. What is really amazing is the staff, so helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend, just skip the breakfast buffet

Nice holiday houses in good location if you’re traveling by car, a few km away from Palau, each house has its own garden, barbecue area and parking place, there’s about 20 villas overlooking a bay. A place well taken, nice rooms, kind personnel, beautiful view on the garden and the small beach. At the village beach umbrellas are too close each other, no space to open your arms without touching the neighbourhoods. Animation too much "80' style", even if I'm not a fan of any animation; but the pair of times I went to have a look in the evening, the head of entertainment appeared too much invasive...

Kate, the host, is super kind, everything was perfect. I have been in to different bright bedrooms (with bathroom included) and they both were big, confortable and extremely clean. The Fonda offers guests a tasty and varied breakfast- the homemade pudding is the best! I really recomend this place, I surely would come back.

We had a wonderful night's stay at La Fonda. The rooms were bright, airy, beautifully styled and spotlessly clean. Our host Katie was very friendly and welcoming. No breakfast offered because of Covid but a short walk into the town and local cafes/restaurants. Would recommend to anyone visiting Palau!

We checked day by day what B&B we were gonna go to next and our B&B before this one didn't know La Fonda so we doubted for a second. But really really happy we went anyhow! Was a lovely B&B. The rooms are very bright, white and just very calming. I think this might just be the nicest B&B we slept in during our Sardegna roadtrip.
