Where to stay in Ponza Village

Ponza is a beautiful location, and Hotel Chiaia di Luna is the place to stay! The staff are so kind, and go above and beyond to help you navigate the island's quirks, and make your stay more special. We loved the beautiful view, the shuttle to and from the port, the connection to the Vespa company, cappucinos, the bathtub, and the no-frills breakfast.

We have stayed here three times. Excellent location with easy access to the port. Stunning views. Front desk staff are delightful and super helpful. The multi-star rating, however, has to be taken within the context of Ponza, and not the world. The rooms are small, the room decor is far from brand new. Some amenities that we would expect from highly-rated hotels elsewhere in Italy (body lotion...

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Salty pool is perfect, breakfast excellent (ask for coffee though as otherwise terrible). Friendly shuttle bus who can get you up & down to the village. Poor choice of food for vegetarians (one pasta) so best to eat out. Don't book a sea view room as next door the nightclub is loud until midnight. Only other criticism is phoning me in UK repeatedly offering a cash...

On top of the island experience. Grade A breakfast, incredible views and vibe. Carlo their driver is now a friend, and I slept so well every night. The ONLY criticism I have is they HAVE TO CHANGE the MUSIC selection from a 3-hour rotation to at least a 9-10 hour rotation or find a way to expand it. the staff, walking distance to village, the little bus service, the view, the floor tiles, the small but nice room, the view. and luckily no parties half of september at the terrace anymore, so ai could sleep.

The Hotel was really cute with a nice maritime design. When we arrived we got provided a really good overview about the island, where to go and what to do. The food in the hotel restaurant is also very good and everybody was very friedenly and helpful.

A lovely little hotel in Ponza. The location is perfect - restaurants, shops and the port are within walking distance. The rooms are very modern. The staff are incredibly friendly, I felt very comfortable there. Three planned days turned into six. So highly recommended.

This is a great boutique hotel very near Ponza center. The rooms are done with style and the restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful, including the owner Luisa as well as Adelina who helped our group in many ways. I highly recommend this hotel!

We just came back from Ponza and we stayed at lovely Piccolo Hotel Luisa. Everything was great: our family room with a large terrace, deeply cleaned everyday and furnished in the typical island-style; the breakfast, with both sweet and savoury products; the restaurant where I could taste a delicious risotto and a memorable revisitation of the Sicilian cannolo (pity I got a table just for the last dinner...

Great location and great staff, make sure you call to book as they are able to give you a better price then online through a 3rd party. Breakfast is included and it was very well presented with many options. You’re also able to leave your luggage and shower after check out in an outside shower. great if your ferry leaves later. All the rooms are renovated and with AC. Great views too.

Everything about Gennarina a Mare was perfect. It exceeded all expectations and I could not recommend the hotel and Ponza more.

We spent a wonderful week at Gennarino a mare. The location is fantastic, the room a favor, it's not very big but perfect, with everything you need and an unforgettable view. The property enjoys a panoramic view of the sea and Palmarola. You can enjoy heavenly sunsets !!! Clean rooms every '.... the owner is hospitable and friendly with everyone, willing to give advice to visit the island! I recommend it to everyone!

I loved my stay here. I didnt feel like i was staying in a hotel, it felt like home. Just very relaxing and comfortable.

The best hotel terrace I have experienced. I read some reviews complaining about the rooms being old and small, but this is not the case. Booked the economy room, had a great view across the land side of the island, a large bathroom and great air con and ceiling fan. Terrace and pool are magnificent, especially as the sun sets across Ponza. Lovely staff

Amazing view all away around the hotel. Listed building on top of the main hill above the harbour. The economy room with sea view is newly refurbished and confy. Solarium/balcony/swimming pool are just amazing. Nicely decorated internally. STAFF Are VERY WELCOMING AND PROFESSIONAL (from receptionists to the cleaner) . The Rooms are all different. It was a Prison before! Cool Location. Nice terrace with a DJ and good Atmosphere. A Pool is available. You can look over all of Ponza habor. The Service is lovely. Don't expect to much. Wifi is working with around 2Mb/s down 0,10 Mb/s up.

The most exceptional thing about the hotel is the people working there. I was treated in a way that is above the usual. Teresa at the breakfast is just an angel worth meeting and so much fun, so is Maria who cleanse the room with her great smile. Rosario and Roberta at the reception make you feel welcome from the start, are just extremly sweet and help you with everything. I have never encountered...

The hotel is located right in the port of Ponza and is a few hundred meters from the ferry. The entire staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. We had a room on the third floor and had a wonderful view of the harbor from the balcony. Upon arrival, the hotel room was available even before the check-in period. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the Piscine Naturali which is wonderful. The view from the terrace is beautiful and it´s wonderful to have breakfast with a view before walking to the beach where you can rent boats and sail around the island. We loved staying at the Hotel and will hopefully return soon :)

We have chosen this village to spend 5 days of total relaxation on the occasion of our twentieth wedding anniversary. The structure is of excellent quality as is its location near the natural pools and the beach of Cala Feola. The staff at the reception is very kind and the breakfast is excellent. I've been here 3 days, but the location is beautiful! Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 10 a.m. Dinner is also fantastic! You can have fantastic fish here. I live in Honduras, but here is incredible. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

We stayed only three nights in this beautiful property. The kindness and hospitality of Mrs. Rosaria who, with care provided us with useful information on places to visit, repaid us for the inclement weather. We spent a wonderful stay in one of the most beautiful places on the island with a 360 degree view: over Ponza and Palmarola with its wonderful sunsets. Wonderful structure located on a hill halfway between the Port of Ponza and the locality of Le Forna. Unique panorama, from the breakfast room you can see both the sea side to the east with the port and the west side with the island of Palmarola. Very clean harbor hotel Their strong point is the fact that they keep your suitcases for you until you have to catch the ferry, plus they let you take a shower in a half bathroom. Weak point the little bath and a strong smell of closed in the closet I recommend an air freshener to managers. Apartments with a view of the splendid Feola cove .. Interior a bit "old-fashioned" and bathroom without a shower tray to be renovated. However, they are very clean and upon request provide bed and bath linens ... Wonderful shower on the terrace ... Wonderful holiday the advice!

Perfect. We chose the three-room apartment. 2 bathrooms with very nice showers. Huge sea view terrace with outdoor shower and breathtaking view. Functional kitchen and living room. Comfortable rooms and refreshing by ceiling fans.

Clean environment available with all the comforts you could need during a vacation on an island like Ponza. The staff accompanied us and explained everything in detail. We took extra (but we knew of the cost) the household linen and towels.

I spent a week in one of the three-room apartments of the structure, I must say really not bad, I especially appreciated the 2 bathrooms and a third shower in the back, the optimal position for those who want to go down to the sea in a few minutes and relax, a little less if yes wants to reach the port. Excellent location, and the sea view of cala feola. Decent apartments, well equipped, quiet environment, with good value for money (in September). The rubber gas pipes (cylinder on the balcony) that expired in 2008 only need to be replaced !!!

Hateful climbs long before dawn. The DE FACTO terrace is the most beautiful thing in the house. The house itself is nice, except that it is of a shameful sterility. Everything is missing: a sponge to clean, a broken air conditioner remote control, a cloth in the kitchen to dry, salt and oil bought in large quantities by those who are probably thrown away without batting an eyelid. The location is superb, with marvelous view of Ponza's port. It is quiet but very close to the heart of the village. The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and has some pleasant outdoor space for breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with good advice on where to eat, what to visit etc.

I stayed with my family at Casa Carmela for 4 days. Structure with a breathtaking view, clean apartment, well furnished with air conditioning. Really good breakfast. Enzo and Maria Grazia have always been kind and helpful, to try!

We spent a wonderful week in a simple but comfortable apartment. The owner was of a unique kindness, very difficult to find. There are some uncomfortable stairs to climb, but all of Ponza is as beautiful as it is uncomfortable. A holiday and a stay to be absolutely redone.

Large room with all the necessary comforts. In the morning it is possible to have breakfast on the terrace with a panoramic view of the island. The staircase to reach the B&B is absolutely rewarded. Il terrazzo/giardino e la splendida vista. La signora Anna Lucia è davvero gentile e sempre disponibile per ogni evenienza e la sua famosa crostata a colazione davvero squisita! La colazione con vista è stata davvero apprezzata. Su richiesta, ci è stato possibile lasciare i bagagli anche dopo il check out e fare una doccia nel bagno di servizio dopo il mare. Torneremo molto volentieri!

Posto carinissimo ne centro storico di ponza. Terrazzo panoramico sul porto bellissimo con piante di limone a impreziosirlo, soggiorno molto accogliente.

Fantastic view with a beautiful roof garden. Hearty breakfast with freshly baked tarts and donuts from Anna Lucia, of an absolute cordiality, she also gave me the recipe !! It was possible to leave our bags and take a nice shower after our stay. Thank you! I'll be back for sure.

Enchanting location, very comfortable rooms, all located on a well-kept garden terrace from which you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the island ... and what about Annalucia and Antonio .... unique managers .., immense availability, very strong sense of hospitality. Everything needed to get us back as soon as possible.

The structure is nice and clean, but the highlight is the garden that overlooks the sea offering a fairytale view where you can have breakfast in peace with the world. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Dream weekend.
