Sharing a photo of my room online people asked me if this was a prison cell. Amenities are very basic to say the least.
I was on the first floor and even with the shower on 'full' the water just trickled out, so very difficult to wash, and it never got very warm.
The toilet was situated half under the sink, so if I were any bigger I would not have been able to actually reach the toilet itself!
The floors are all stone, which is very cold, but also means that sound travels very quickly across the building, so be prepared for endless disruptions from the tiniest sounds, especially when trying to sleep.
The breakfast was very basic, no milk for the cereals available and just a single croissant as the 'fresh' food, otherwise everything else was wrapped in plastic from the supermarket.
Staff were a mixture of super friendly (the younger guys) and very miserable (the older men), and rarely spoke any English so quite difficult to communicate (then again, perhaps I should learn Italian!)

Very dirty showers, sent us to another room and the shower was still dirty there. Didn’t tell us we had to pay for parking until we checked out. All negative people and very miserable. Not willing to do anything for us for our bad stay.

Hotel is in a good location walkable to the historic centre but the road in is winding and the GPS may need to be ignored for some turns. Room was clean and comfortable and service friendly and helpful. Parking was available underneath. A nice continental breakfast buffet with perfect cappuccino.

Three-star hotel in the center of Potenza but it also deserves the fourth star. Great professionalism, courtesy, hospitality and willingness to provide information on the location of the operator at the reception, great courtesy also from the breakfast staff, as well as from the bar. The room where I stayed was very clean, welcoming with all the accessories and completely renovated. Maybe other common areas need a revisit, but overall I recommend it.

The hotel is very close to the city center. You can reach everywhere by walking. The hotel is an old hotel and has not been renovated. Despite this, it is clean, tidy and in good condition. It has an authentic structure. Almost everything is wood. The breakfast is sufficient, the staff is friendly and everywhere is clean. Also, the price is reasonable.
