Good morning, I had to stay at the S.Carlo hotel for a long time, me and my cat and I can say that Fabio, who is the owner, has always been kind to me. My room was really nice, we didn't miss anything. Overall, I recommend it and the price was fair. I would go back.

We stayed one night to break up a long journey. Experience to forget. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but being a 2 star hotel it wasn't a problem at all. The sore point was the cleanliness, something disgusting. The toilet dirty, inside and out and behind an empty roll of paper. Everywhere was full of dust and the sheets gave off an acrid and musty smell, so much so that we were forced to sleep with towels on top of the sheets.

Excellent location very close to the centre. Simple hotel that should pay more attention to the details and presentation conditions of the structure.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a rhythmic gymnastics competition. Service: good, although a little disorganized, there was one person to do all the services. Breakfast: food bought from the supermarket next door. Rooms: clean, a little '1980s style, with wool blankets. Location: decent.😐

Fabio, the owner is very nice and hospitable. He's knowledgeable about Salsomaggiore and the surroundings, giving good advice as to what to see.
The room and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with fresh fruit, cheese, ham, fruit juice and of course excellent Italian café. I can definitely recommend Hotel San Carlo. And I will definitely be back again.
