Great place Inauguration on 29 September 1951 by Padre Pio Friendly staff I highly recommend

After booking this hotel (where I stayed one night) the expectations were not very high. Despite this, I was pleasantly surprised: the location is good (a stone's throw from the Sanctuary), the rooms are spacious and well cleaned, the breakfast abundant and the managers very kind, friendly and helpful! I also point out the presence of a car park attached to the structure. Contrary to other reviews...

I really enjoyed my stay there. The landlord knew Padre Pio and has stories to tell. The hotel is authentic and that's exactly what I was looking for to come pray Padre Pio.

Good afternoon... We stayed at this property on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13. Annual Parish Pilgrimage. There were 63 of us. We had a great welcome, kindness and atmosphere of peace and tranquility what you need for a pilgrimage. Comfortable, clean rooms. Great restaurant. In summary, we have been peace. I recommend it for those who are going to San Giovanni Rotondo.

Serene and welcoming place. Located near the churches of the Holy Father Pio. The reception staff is prepared and very kind. The room I took was clean and very large. Air conditioning and TV present. More than good the reception for people with handicaps. Extraordinary panorama. I advise.

The location is excellent indeed not far from the Sanctuary; the front desk staff is wonderful, helpful and courteous; the spacious and clean rooms; the restaurant menu is simple and good, moreover, the restaurant staff is very kind; the breakfast is good and there's more to it! I go to approdo only to eat something and i think that they have a great food. The location is beautiful, because the place can take a great panorama.

I was in this structure for the occasion of a fiftieth wedding anniversary, very well celebrated in situ ... everything was perfect from the precious tablecloths to the refined and abundant menu, from the impeccable table service to the floral decoration, all well managed by the owners of the 'inn!!! Congratulations also for the pension, for the clean and spacious room!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel on vacation at the end of May. The rooms were very clean and welcoming. The staff, especially Mrs. Rossella, were very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Delightful location not far from the center immersed in ample space with a splendid view of the territory. Tables well spaced .. Dear waiters .. Excellent cutting boards .. All accompanied by live music at the weekend to escape from the usual routine. The only flaw, if we want to say so .. They should add something more to the menu .. Type of sandwiches and pizza to satisfy the customer more .. Overall...

Absolute loved this place. Booked a tour guide, some rental bikes and had a fixed lunch. All very well done. My son and I enjoyed the pump track of site and loved the tour of the Gargano with the rest of the family. Good and drink at the end were cooked and served really well

Hotel was clean en comfortable. People were very friendly. Hotel was very noisy in the morning and cleaning personell made a lot of noise. It woke us up earlier than we wanted. (08:00)

A great place! I recommend to all those who intend to eat quality dishes for lunch or dinner. The location is welcoming and elegant, the staff is very competent and professional, the kitchen is simply perfect. The Polignone family has the merit of all this. Highly recommended.

You can tell Hotel Rossemi is a family run business with their welcoming atmosphere both at reception and the bar. They even drove us into town one day when the buses weren’t running! My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return next time. Thank you!

This family run hotel is excellent. I have stayed in many hotels but have never been met with such kindness and attention. Excellent tasty breakfast. Gluten free options available . Central location near shrine. Don’t look any further - just book. You will not get better😊

I had a good dinner at Restaurant la Solaria. The food tasted very good and the service was ok as well. I think they are focusing on the tourists coming to town for Padre Pio. Because of the many tourists the is even a „Tourist Menu“ which is fine. But you can‘t choose from a lot of options.

We received a lovely welcome with wonderful hospitality at the family run hotel. They even helped us do our laundry!!

I spent about 2 months at the hotel residence, which offers rooms with a kitchenette, excellent for medium-long term solutions. An additional, shorter stay at the actual hotel. Both structures, family-run, are well cared for by the owners and managers, wonderful, kind and professional people, available to accommodate the needs of guests. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the hospital and outpatient clinics...

The service is very nice although it's hard to get along. Tasty meals. Everywhere clean and nice, the only downside is a little uncomfortable beds.

Well .. there is little to say .. the usual hotel that offers a room at a good price for one night! Good cleaning .. the rooms at least mine very bare, but obviously it's one night and away and I don't ask for much! Friendly and helpful manager service. Private parking for those like me who have a car loaded with suitcases. Personally I would be 2 stars but this hotel has a strong point that marries...

Good choice to sleep in San Giovanni Rotondo. Great value for money. Close to the Sanctuary within a maximum of 10min. on foot. The difference and the 5 stars are for the courtesy and kindness of the owners. Be sure to come back !!!

Stefano, owner-proprietor was an excellent host. He took the effort to help recommend the dinner dishes. We enjoyed that so much that we decided to have lunch on check-out day. His restaurant was frequented by many local families, so it’s definitely a great place to eat, especially given the paucity of other options in the vicinity. We had two single beds with firm mattresses and slept well. Good hot...

The hotel is close to the sanctuary and is easily accessible. It is located in a quiet place and the staff are helpful. An adequate place to have adequate physical and spiritual rest.

Excellent structure managed by a large family that made the history of San Giovanni Rotondo. To taste the good local cuisine.

Not awful but not so good, either Definitely not a four star property. More like an ok two-star in need of a complete renovation.

Some of the people are friendly and others not. But overall is a good hotel and very convenient. They came and picked us up from the bus station at san Giovanni and also the took us back to the bus station this morning

Good for 1-2 nights. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Air conditioning was good. Beds comfortable. Shower was nice size. Italian breakfast with freshly baked cornetti and packaged treats. They offered a shuttle to the sanctuary which was convenient. Only a 6 minute walk back ( all downhill going back-all uphill going there. ) free parking on premises that are a few steps from main entrance. Best...

Good location Very good hotel, spacious room and modern bathroom. I arrived after 11 pm, and there was no problem checking in. If you like continental bufet breakfast with choices and good coffee, this hotel is NOT for you. Location is very good, but it is a bit demanding uphill walk to Padre Pio.

As a religious Padre Pio pilgrim, I loved all until shocked by full frontal nude painting in the same lobby as Padre Pio. This spoiled all the other wonderful things about the hotel.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Staff at reception were perfectly professional and helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in. the restaurant was great! All in all a great place from which to explore San Giovanni!

A very good value for money Hotel. It is located just ten minutes walk from the sanctuary of Saint Padre Pio and the cleanliness is impeccable.

Clean room, great shower, food was great staff were very friendly and helpful ,makes all the difference when travelling. Bus stop outside the gate is a great advantage €1 in to padre pio €1 back... Notice board in lobby great for additional information maybe add bus schedule.
