Residence Hotel Antica Perla

We recently stayed at the hotel for a family celebration in Sicily - the staff were lovely the place was clean and they even changed the towels every day as standard, however unfortunately we didn't have a car and there is no transport anywhere near to the hotel, so we had to use taxis all of the time, sadly taxis are very expensive in Sicily so even a trip to a local restaurant (as the ones close by weren't yet open -think the season starts in June) so about 3 miles costs 40 Euros each way - we spent a small fortune in cabs that was down side.
There is no snack bar so make sure if you are staying in the hotel for the day that you get some food in as there is nothing other than ice cream and crisps after breakfast.
The location if you have transport is great really - right on the beach - and just a few miles from the valley of the temples, in season I imagine the 2 local restaurants would be great. All in all the staff and hotel were great.

Very good room and an excellent sea view balcony. Spacious room with a small kitchenette. I am pretty sure they gave me the best room in the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. The sea in front couple of ...seconds walking distance from the lobby. An almost private beach.Amazing. Needs more advertising I think because I found it by almost accident. And it is worth a lot more!!

We were made very welcome and the apartment exactly met our expectations. Very good and plentiful breakfast. Rooms very good. We are 2 couples of friends on a week-long trip to Sicily. We are satisfied with our choice.

A great location on the beach, close to all activities in Agrigento and in San Leone. There is something for everyone in the area from youngest to oldest. Host Claudia is an amazing person. She helped with all excursions and information about the area. Claudia is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Antica Perla is in a perfect location. Very close to the Agrigento city and its great restaurants and of course the valley of the Temples. The pool at Antica Perla is big, beautiful and made for peaceful, lazy afternoons. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ample and good variety for all tastes. The bar is lovely and great for a drink or an afternoon coffee. Parking is always available in their lot. The staff made our stay very comfortable and memorable. There are several good restaurants walking distance and many more a short drive away. Great take out of Italian specialties and great supermarkets nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Perla. All our family loved our stay there. We look forward to staying there again in the very near future.

The location of the hotel is excellent, overlooking the sea where you can swim. Free parking.
Pool big enough to have fun and relax.
The rooms are large with a view of the endless blue with a small television in the wrong position, at least in mine.
Clean hotel but there is no shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom apart from one sachet of shampoo and one sachet of shower gel and this for 2 people.
The breakfast was quite good and the staff helpful.
You need a car to go to the center.
I would definitely return to this quiet and beautiful hotel.

Spacious room with splendid sea view. We also had a kitchenette in our room which was very convenient for us and a large terrace. Very helpful and kind staff. We really had a great time. Definitely recommended!
