Hotel La Pace

Very welcoming family run hotel. There was a mix-up with breakfast but it was immediately resolved in the best possible way. The hotel is located a few km from Pistoia in a quiet area.

It is a family-run hotel located partly on the central square of Maresca.

The structure and furnishings are old, but are well kept. The cleanliness is excellent as is the cooking which is very homely and respects the customs of the place. You can also find local people at the restaurant, which confirms the quality and authenticity of the food.
We also received a nice cooking service for the 11 month old girl and for me who is gluten intolerant.
Breakfast is instead entrusted to local bars via their Voucher.
There is also reserved parking included in the price.
Cost normal, and in any case proportionate to what is offered.

The real strength of the Hotel is the kindness and hospitality of the owners and staff. Everyone is very kind and attentive, attentive to the needs of the guests who, in the summer period, are mostly pensioners, which makes the structure even more familiar and welcoming.

The sore point is instead due to the municipality of Maresca. The night I stayed there was music that shook the walls until 2am in the little square, then the bar on the corner of the square took care of it until 3am, always with music and noise. For me, a light sleeper, there was no escape even with closed windows (with double glazing) and sleeping caps. Fortunately, the baby was able to fall asleep by closing the window. Slept 2 hours and headache all next day.

This place is definitely good for those looking for fun and/or heavy sleepers, for everyone else I highly recommend finding out about events in the municipality, which obviously has nothing to do with the structure.

Excellent example of hospitality and courtesy of the owners and staff. Clean, modern and extremely comfortable. Nice common areas, beautiful and large rooms, easy parking. All extremely pleasant. I felt at home. Highly recommended ❤️

I randomly chose this hotel on a bikepacking trip from Lucca to Bologna because the climb looked nice. I'm still totally excited about the cozy and familiar atmosphere of this place. Pasta was also high quality and handmade.

Beautiful hotel structure in that of Maresca. The rooms are spacious and clean; from my point of view, however, full of too many objects and with a soundproofing to improve.
The solution found in the bathroom with concealed toilet and bidet under the sink to save space is very particular and nice.
The entrance is equipped with electric opening / closing via smartphone application.
The staff who run the property are very friendly

My dad and I had a great time at the La Pace Hotel! Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were clean! And not to forget, the food was delicious! Would definitely come back! :)

In the middle of the forest , in the center of Maresca village, we stay at this very friendly and beautiful hotel for one week . We felt like home and we took advantage of the position on the map, to explore Tuscany by car . Great experience , a big ,,thank you '' to the hosts.
