Podere Val D'Orcia - Tuscany Equestrian

I stayed here with my husband, my in-laws, and my mother in the last week of August. We stayed four nights but I could have stayed forever! Selene was so welcoming and the rooms were spacious and just relaxing. The food was also amazing - we loved our evenings looking over the beautiful valley enjoying our cocktails before dinner. We didn’t use the spa but did have a chance to take a quick dip in the pool and the jacuzzi - both had amazing views as well. We loved everything about this place.

I had the loveliest time at Podere Valdorcia. The place is absolutely beautiful - from the horses, to the amazing sunsets, the pool, everything. Also loved the fact that is Italian owned and it does not have the resorty/ Americanized feel to it. Highlight to Selene that made our stay feel like home and always did it all to accomodate our asks, and it was so kind and friendly to us. I hope this place doesn’t change!
Also shoutout for the lovely two cats that live in the barn - Johnny and Tommy - which are so well behaved and docile.

My husband and I stayed here last week on our first trip to Tuscany. What a memorable experience! Gianluca and Selene went above and beyond our expectations, and accommodated to our every need.

The owner and staff of this wonderful Tuscan resort welcomed us with warm smiles and the highest level of hospitality. Beautiful horses and stunning equestrian facilities. Breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. Our kids had a fantastic time taking horseback riding lessons.

Sandy and Phil offer warm hospitality and their expertise of the area to ensure you get the most out of your stay. One of our favorite memories was enjoying a delicious Tuscan BBQ, all done by Sandy and Phil, with typical Tuscan sides and wines too! Fabulous way to end a busy day of exploring and at sunset too!
