We had a good 1-night stopover at La Gustea Hotel on our way from Sicily to Milan. A smaller family hotel, a pleasant owner, luxurious rooms and a gorgeous modern bathroom, the hotel is equipped with an elevator. The reason I only give 4 stars and not 5 is that I would have liked a functional wifi connection in the room in a 4 star hotel, the internet looked like it was and the speed was comparable to the 90s with a 50kb modem connection, 2 key cards should be given for the family...

The venue is very nice and cozy. The tower-like shape of the building in the middle of a silent countryside makes it pretty enchanting and peaceful place to spend a lovely weekend.

A beautiful location perfectly located to visit Montepulciano, Val d’Orcia, Pienza, and also Orvieto. The building could come straight out of a movie, already driving up to the Torre is fantastic. Good location for visiting Tuscany. There are many cozy villages with charm around, hot springs, forts, picturesque fields (where the film Gladiator was filmed). The hotel rooms are cozy: parquet, vintage solid wood furniture. The bathroom with a shower cabin is small, but well equipped, the plumbing is new. Bruno is a gracious and charming host. He happily accommodated our vegan dietary requests. Baked goods, handmade by Bruno’s mother, were exceptional. We had an amazing stay at Bruno's place for 4 nights. Very quiet place in a nice village. Totally isolated : no noises during day and night. Swimming pool is perfect, room was clean, cosy and confortable. Breakfast was homemade and varied. Bruno is a perfect host : careful about his guest, he advices some good restaurants and places to visit. Everything was perfect !

Very nice and pleasant bed and breakfast. Located right in the middle of Sarteano. Super nice and clean rooms. Above all Bruno makes you feel at home and is very helpful. We stayed at this resort for three nights. The location was very convenient. It was minutes walking distance to the main centre of Sarteano and only 25 to 30 minutes (driving) away to some of the greatest destinations in the area. The rooms were modern and extremely clean. Giorgio, the host, and his wife make you feel the real Italian culote. They welcome you and treat you as if you were their beloved one. The food is amazing. Do not go anywhere else to pay more for food and wine that is nos as theirs. Love them.

One of my favourite restaurants in Sarteano. The food is excellent, service second to none (especially the older waiter - possibly the owner), his friendliness and attention to detail is just superb. One of the highlights of our stay in Sarteano. You need to park in the main square and walk a short hike to get here but it is well worth it. The view is great and the staff are so friendly. It appears to be a family affair. Our food was delicious.

On the edge of a real Tuscan village with few tourists, you really can't beat location. Our 8th visit and it remains a favourite place of the family. Well managed space with different pools and an amazing park where you can relax. Most of all is really clean and well maintained. Water make your skin softer, I don't know if it is thermal but I felt like this nice effect. I would surely recommend

Nice camp ground. We have been there for two nights with our tent. They have a lot camping spots there and also a nice grass area where one may camp. In September there weren’t many people so we had free choice for our spot. They have three pools but when we were there only one was open. The pool area looked a little outdated and might need some renovation. All other facilities are in really good shape...

Excellent camping place. Areas are spacious and there's lots of green decoration. Toilets and showers are very good, no coins needed. Three swimming pools offer sufficient options. Big playground areas, and a nice historic village within 5 minutes walking distance. Restaurant has big menu and decent prices. The surroundings are perfect for hiking and cycling.

We came to Le Buche for one of their wine tours, error on my end with miscommunication and the time we were late for our tour. I message Lucia and she was more than accommodating, she said she could give us a faster version of the tour that way we could still do the tasting. The hosts. Paolo is far more than helpful. We (our friend, to be specific) had a major problem here but Paolo helped him through the whole thing while keeping calm. We cannot thank Paolo enough. The pool and the view from the pool was fabulous.

So tasty!! We were looking for a local spot with tasty pasta and found the perfect place. Everything was tasty and the pasta was so fresh. We got the house red and loved it! Also family owned and everyone was so kind. A perfect restaurant to enjoy good food and company!

I had the opportunity to eat here both for lunch with the menu of the day and for dinner with an excellent pizza. Alone she is in the family, all great! Very kind staff and welcoming atmosphere. The pizza was super as were the pasta and side dishes. I will definitely be back :)

We arrived just before they closed for Siesta and they still welcomed us and were really friendly. They offer no pizza for lunchtime but the pasta dishes were really tasty. Even got a bottle of limoncello on the house in the end. It's not a very touristy place but a very authentic Italian restaurant which we prefer anyways. Would definitely recommend!

I had the loveliest time at Podere Valdorcia. The place is absolutely beautiful - from the horses, to the amazing sunsets, the pool, everything.
