Hotel del Mar in Sottomarina

It’s a wonderful place – peaceful, comfortable, and clean. The staff? Amazing. I travel with my dog, and this is the perfect spot: people who truly love animals, with plenty of cuddles for my pup every single day. I even got a little teary when it was time to leave. Highly recommended!!!

The Italian hospitality was really present here! A family hotel with nice and friendly people. The owner was pretty helpful and attentive together with his daugher. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean. The furniture was rather new and with 2 bathrooms as well. The kitchen almost fully equiped, for our stay was sufficient. We also rented a garage space and we could use the bike lot, too. The beach distance is 8 min. of walking far from the hotel. The beach service was included with the shower. The only negative were seagulls on the roof, during nights were quite noisy. Grazie mille per tutto!

Hmm, mixed feelings about this place.
PROS:
1. nice and clean
2. Good AC in the Room
3. Pretty close to the sea
4. They accept dogs
5. The room was okay( normal size)
6. The men from the reception are very friendly
CONS:
1. Very small bathroom ( in our room especially) if you have more than 90kg you cannot sit on the toilet because you will hit the wall.
2. Very difficult to get your room clean if you have a dog and you cannot take him to the beach ( we had a big discussion with the reception lady about this, she is pretty unfriendly)
3. No fridge in the room ( you can ask them to store something for you, in their fridge)
4. No hangers to dry the beach towels ( you can hang them on the terrace)
5. The breakfast is tasty but if you don't arrive early you end up eating what is left ( cake, yogurt, fruits)
6. Wi-Fi if disconnecting automatically if you leave the room and you have to put again the password and the username( very inconvenient).

the location was not the same, that we expected but for such a cheap price, it was good enough.

It's in the old part of town so there's less noise. The room is great and always kept clean. The beach is close. The old town of Chioggia is in walking distance. Beautiful area.
