The hotel is very close to the port which is a plus especially if you have luggage. Everything is at hand, restaurants, boaters. The staff is friendly, eager to help you. Very good hotel! From the cleaning lady to the receptionist everyone is super friendly and helpful! The view at the sea is absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the laying at the pool and watching the birds taking a dip in it, while in the background you see the volcano. Stunning place, we went for a room, slightly more expensive but worth it, with a terrace which had great views. Lovely helpful staff but deducted a star as bathroom a let down. Shower was incorporated in the bath and no shower mat so pretty dangerous and after a day on the beach you need a decent shower. Very limited restaurant menu, but great wine list.

Adored this place. Is absolutely beautiful. Loved our bedroom, the view, the charm. Would love to come back, wish would have stayed one more night. The breakfast has its opportunities. Don’t seem to have many salty options which I don’t find very international but understand in Italy breakfast is more about sweets :-)

We decided to make a trip to Stromboli at short notice because of the heightened activity of the volcano. We only had one day available for our stay and didn't make a lot of plans. Very nice hosts, who helped us planning our stay and activities. The house and garden is decorated with love. The room is beatiful, however the bathroom is not very clean and the shower could be in better condition! Nevertheless we had a wonderful stay and would reccomend it!

Perfect location in the center of Stromboli, on the main street of the island, a genuine simple hotel with the right comforts, a place where you can truly unplug, the peace and friendliness of the hotel and the people overwhelm you. Marina del Gabbiano was a gem. We were able to reserve a mooring ball the day prior to coming to Stromboli. Valentina speaks excellent English and was able to assist with restaurant reservations, taxis, free water taxi if you don’t want to take your dingy in (no dock you have to pull it up on the beach). Giovanni comes out to meet you in the dingy and assist with the mooring ball. He was very helpful...

What an extraordinary place is this! Pure relaxation, beautiful view on the Stromboli vulcano and the blue Mediterranean, toes in the black sand and dreaming away with a nice cocktail. A lounge bar I want to recommend! Enjoy.

I loved absolutely everything. I booked it as cheapest option expecting nothing. And it appeared to be paradise. Host is most adorable person, very helpful and welcoming. Private houses are cozy with own entrance and bathroom, cleaned every day. View is just breathtaking. You feel exceptional here

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. We stayed in room "Azzurra", which has a private terrace and a wonderful sea view from which we could see Strombolicchio without even getting out of bed. Overpriced as almost everything on Stromboli but very friendly staff and a large apartment

Location was good, a short walk to the main square and then all downhill from there either to the seafront or the back path to the next village. Easy reach reach to restaurants, bars and shops.

This is a perfect island b&b. Breakfast is lovely, the rooms are spacious, the garden comes with a magnificent view of the volcano and Pasquale is a great host. We'll be back!

The staff was friendly, it was good place. I recommend to stay longer than me, one night was too short to enjoy the island. And to see Stromboli eruptions is something mind-blowing.

Pizza was okay… if you are hungry go for it but don’t expect good food. Maybe other dishes are better.

The property is very pretty. The rooms are standalone bungalow-type rooms with their own small patio out front. I was pleased with the spacious room itself, but the bathroom needs serious updating. Good accomodation for visit Stromboli on the sea

I should give 4 stars because yes the rooms are tiny and also the bathroom could be improved with the showers. But did we feel great in this hotel with its hundreds terraces in all heights over the sea connected with little walk ways and bridges, just like a little village. It is truly a beautiful place with a small beach just in front (stony and very clear like everywhere around the Aeolian Islands...

Pretty and spacious rooms with good air conditioning, a lovely sitting area in the yard. The owner was very sweet and helpful, she even let us in the adjacent little store (which was closed during the siesta) to buy supplies for our hike. We had a very nice stay.

Much more beautiful a few years ago .. from the terrace you could enjoy the whole view of the sea and of stombolicchio now prevented by a building born this winter. The room I had this time is not very nice (preferable the rooms at the back with small terrace): just at the entrance, crossing point, weighed down by a mezzanine that makes it dark and with the bathroom to be restored

It is not a five-star hotel but for the island it is one of the best accommodations. The rooms (at least those facing the inner courtyard) are very large, almost like mini-apartments. The finishes and the furniture inside are simple, but they are clean and equipped with comfort. Unfortunately the internet is only available near the reception. Friendly and helpful staff

We were welcomed very cordially by the hosts who also helped us with tips on where to go for dinner, buy food for the Volcano tour and hike around the village. The room was quite large, comfortably equipped and clean. The breakfast offered everything we desired and they had fantastic coffee (in Italy that can be expected though :-) ). Stay on a spectacular island and in a mansion full of charm. The patio and the garden with the Schicciola are truly unique. Giuseppe made us visit the ancient spring, and also enjoy the spring of thermal water available to guests. We spent a beautiful time on Stromboli. The food was delicious, the cats were cute, and the room was comfortable. The view from the terrace where breakfast was served was breathtaking - on one side the sea, on the other the volcano. The room was clean and tidy, towels and bedding were changed frequently. It's an amazing place, immersed in the nature of this lush garden. It's a bit away and uphill from the main roads, but anything can be reached within 10 mins walk.. However a taxi lift can also be arranged by the B&B upon request. There is a spectacular view on both the volcano and the sea right in front of your face all the time. The sky you see here at night is something I bet you have never seen...

Beautiful buildings and gardens - comfortable beds, rooms with en suite bathrooms. Breakfast was plentiful coffee, tea, fruit juice, pastries and bread with choice of fruit compotes etc. The host was very attentive & helpful. NB Be aware that you cannot drink the tap water on Stromboli, so buy plenty of bottled water !
