Residence Pineta Campi in Tremosine

Amazing View!
The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the lunch and dinner offered a great variety with a different menu each day. The swimming pool was very clean and perfect for families – there are areas where kids can play safely without deep water. All the staff were very friendly, including the waiters at every meal.

Rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided each day.
The dry sauna was great.

There was a computer with various educational games for kids, as well as an outdoor playground, trampoline, and mini-golf.

We really enjoyed our stay.
Highly recommended!

Exceptional hotel and apartments with a superb restaurant serving consistently delicious cuisine, and a wonderful bar. Excellent facilities - especially the tennis and swimming pools. The best elements of Pineta Campi are undoubtedly the exemplary reception, dining & bar staff under the ever present ‘hands on’ leadership of Luigi. The Barman / Sommelier ‘Darian’ would be an absolute star at any of the finest 5 star hotels or restaurants!!! This is one of the best run establishments I/we have come across around the world. Pineta Campi offers 5* quality in many areas and at reasonable prices. All of the staff are so nice and helpful that this seems to spread happiness to the guests!! (This is not common in the Garda region in my opinion). Pineta Campi is the perfect place for sporting enthusiasts, hikers, families with young or teenage children & couples seeking a romantic getaway. It is a surprising little piece of heaven up the mountains above Lake Garda.. I cannot convey how welcome they made us feel. We have made good friends with many staff & guests from around the globe!

We stayed at Hotel Pineta Campi during the first week of October 2023. The hotel and apartments deserves its 4 star rating. We stayed in an apartment with a Mountain View and balcony. Here’s the honest pros and cons…

Pros:
✅ The view is wonderful
✅ The apartment is modern and very clean
✅ The pools and sauna were nice, can’t comment on the jacuzzi as we only tried it once and the bubbles weren’t on (not sure why)
✅ Situated close to Limone Sul Garda - a must visit location 🍋
✅ We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked like the outside area had a lovely view
✅ Peaceful setting, a few walkable restaurants near by
✅ Good value for money

Cons:
❎ The welcome wasn’t the friendliest, it was pretty average
❎ The apartment was a bit cold, but we personally didn’t want to pay extra for heating
❎ We had to spend a lot of time finding English channels on the TV - ended up mainly watching BBC World News just before bed
❎ No oven - I wish we new this as we done a shop on the way and bought some oven foods
❎ There’s dog(s) near by and we heard a fair bit of barking during our stay, luckily not through the night though
❎ Shower takes a long time to get hot
❎ Be prepared to be bitten by mosquitoes - obviously this isn’t the hotels fault, but it’s just a warning, so that you bring some bug spray. There’s also a lot of wasps that come to visit your balcony if you eat outside!
❎ Apartment block is quite far away from the hotel, you have to walk down a steep hill to get there so it’s missing the buzz and vibe of being around people
❎ Pay to play pool and there’s no triangle
❎ Paying extra for bedding and towels

About the drive:
As many reviews have already mentioned the roads are windy and they’re not kidding! We have rented cars in lots of locations and it was a bit tedious having to go up and down these little windy roads every time you want to go out! The journey to the bottom of the hill takes about 15 mins if you’re driving sensibly, which some people do and some don’t, (again, not the hotels fault). In our opinion, it’s well worth it for the view, but it all depends how much you like driving!

Very nice hotel with good food and a gorgeous view of Lake Garda. Ideal for a sporting holiday (tennis, mountainbiking).
