Amazing view in the balcony room!

We arrived at 1000-too early for check-in but they held our luggage for us. Was disappointed our room wasn’t ready until 3:02. Early check in is not always possible so I understand. Nothing was explained about our room or our breakfast, just given the key. In the room was in room breakfast order form which upon reading stated that breakfast was only coffee, juice and bread. Other food was available at $$$. Well stocked mini-bar and kitchenette was in our suite with expensive price list. I didn’t know until checkout that it was included. I would have loved to have had tea/coffee, biscuits ect. The VIP Prosecco and fruit were well presented and enjoyable. Even the delivered breakfast although simple had excellent pastry. Our suite was large and nicely furnished. The bed large and very comfortable. The concierge was helpful in booking us a nice car transfer that was $25.00 cheaper than Uber. Trieste is a beautiful town to visit and the Savoia is a perfect hotel to stay at. I regret our stay there was so short.

Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel. Large spacious common areas. Large room. Services were excellent. Breakfast was plentiful but not excellent. The hotel was right across from the port which made it super easy to board our ship. It was also right in front of old town which was charming and convenient.

This hotel is great, however the temperature control in the room is terrible. We could not change it from the room, we had to ask reception. How can it be freezing cold at 23deg and too hot at 24 deg.
I asked for the shower not to be over the bath, we got a shower over the bath with no apology or recognition of our request,

Excellent hotel next to the central square of Trieste. Very nice rooms, spacious and very clean. The decoration is aristocratic and you feel like being in a palace. The personnel is very helpful and kind. There is a valet parking. The hotel is very very close to the commercial center of the city. Highly recommend.

A classic grand hotel with a long history. It has been fully updated and manages to feel modern while retaining its former grandeur in both the public areas and in guest rooms.
Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and large.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient, having provided us with recommendations via email before our arrival, and happily making reservations and offering assistance during our stay.

Ideal location to all food and cafes. A very historical building with modern amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for the cruise ship boarding as just opposite the wharf pier.

This hotel is located in a wonderful spot. Just across the street from the cruise terminal and one block away from Trieste main piazza. The building is stunning. The rooms are nice, beautifully decorated and spacious. The bed was really comfortable. We had a wonderful balcony overlooking the port and the ships. The room is perfectly sound proofed and you can’t hear the noise of the street. The bathroom is very nice with a lot of amenities. Unfortunately the carpet in the room is old and it really needs to be replaced. The elevator in the hotel is really slow and the wait can be quite long. The front desk staff was professional and polite but not friendly at all and quite cold.
