Amazing view in the balcony room!

We arrived at 1000-too early for check-in but they held our luggage for us. Was disappointed our room wasn’t ready until 3:02. Early check in is not always possible so I understand. Nothing was explained about our room or our breakfast, just given the key. In the room was in room breakfast order form which upon reading stated that breakfast was only coffee, juice and bread. Other food was available...

Beautiful hotel Beautiful hotel. Large spacious common areas. Large room. Services were excellent. Breakfast was plentiful but not excellent. The hotel was right across from the port which made it super easy to board our ship. It was also right in front of old town which was charming and convenient.

This hotel is great, however the temperature control in the room is terrible. We could not change it from the room, we had to ask reception. How can it be freezing cold at 23deg and too hot at 24 deg. I asked for the shower not to be over the bath, we got a shower over the bath with no apology or recognition of our request,

It's in the middle of Trieste and it's an NH hotel. The room was clean, the bed was good. My gf liked the bathroom a lot, something to do with the shower she said it's ideal for hair washing. Very good breakfast. Everything in your travel guides is within easy walking distance. Parking is available in a 3rd party garage around the corner. Everything was good.

Con: Room 220 being alone next to the elevators is extremely nosy unfortunately. You can hear drunk people coming back to their rooms at 2am shouting. Maybe it should be sound proofed, at least that one room that is isolated from the others. Maybe some more amenities in the bathroom would be appreciated. Pro: Employees were super nice and caring. Breakfast was great and full of fresh food.

Very central, close to all amenities, rooms nice and clean and staff very friendly!

Rooms are clean, but in the bathroom you can see the rust build-up happening. From the window I could only see the Main Street and the building across, so you don’t really have a view. Personnel is friendly and always helpful. Breakfast is really good. They have some nice fresh honey from a honey comb available 2”when I was there. Note that during public holidays the restaurant in the hotel was closed...

Beautiful building in a very central location. All the reception team that we met was fantastic, especially the FO shift leader and the lady receptionist that was working in the afternoon/night shift. They were able to upgrade us to an historical deluxe room, which was a good surprise :) the complimentary waters were a nice touch as well!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in the last 10 years. Everything is perfect: the location (close to everything. Central squares, cafes and restaurants), the rooms, the very friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are huge! It was very nice to see complimentary bottles of water in the room. The staff were very kind and helped us order a taxi to the airport at night. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for two nights, from Friday to Sunday. On Friday, we managed to visit the spa. The spa has only four spots available, so it’s necessary to book in advance. The price is €15 per hour. The rooms are nice, not the biggest but clean. Service from the staff is amazing. Location is perfectly near all the restaurants and bars. Love the history of the building and how original they have kept it.

We have been staying at the Continentale since 2016, always for long stays. This time was for 16 days and we always ask for and get the same room. We did our reservation thru emails and all went smoothly, with their responses being very quick. The breakfast was good and the location is perfect but parking is hard and the bed had bedbugs unfortunately.

Would I stay here again? YES. Absolutely loved my stay here. Room was very clean, nicely decorated, good sized bathroom, safe, TV, coffee/tea, two cupboards and did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms. Superb location for us.

Very good breakfast and very comfortable room and bed. We did not have in the room bathrobes, but they provided us upon request . Very challenging with parking. Was not very clear in the reservation how to proceed with the parking. They have a valet parking service, but you need to pay 30 EUR.

Excellent option to discover the city. The beautiful historical building is located in a pedestrian zone and consists of modern nicely furnished apartments. The staff is very friendly and helpful

If driving to the Palace Suite, check-in is a bit of challenge, as they have limited short term parking to upload your baggage as it is 1 block over from the hotel entrance. Outside this, the room was wonderful and in walking distance of other points of interest.

Stayed here for 3 nights while working in town. Super smooth pleasant check in with loads of free parking. I only ate at breakfast which was ok. It’s pretty remote so transport is needed unless you plan to stay at the hotel all day. Really good room and service all round.

Beautiful hotel 15 minutes from Trieste with a beach club in front accessed by an elevator. Deluxe rooms are very spacious with a huge balcony and sublime view. Excellent housekeeping and maintenance. The evening restaurant had very small portions so was disapointing. Excellent spa.

Since reviews seemed to be mixed was not sure what to expect but was delightfully surprised by how nice the hotel was. It was pleasant to be out of the hustle bustle of Trieste but easy enough to drive there. Getting to Miramar Castle on foot was a little complicated but doable. Hotel Riviera offers some spacious, clean and luxurious rooms overlooking the Adriatic. The hotel is very close to Trieste city centre and is perfectly located if you want to visit Trieste and the region. It also offers a good restaurant if you don’t want to drive during the evenings. However, breakfast is very average (orange juice is made from squash which seems insane in Italy).

We had 2 night's here and things just didn't really work out well for us. On arrival we followed the signs to the hotel but we still couldn't access it. There were some road works going on making entry to the marina difficult. In fairness the hotel did email 24 hours before but some screw up with mails to the the agent (expedia/hotels.com) meant I didn't see the warning. It took us 35 minutes driving...

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is part of a large marina complex which also has apartments for boat owners ... many of the boats perhaps more expensive than the apartments? The hotel is clean, quiet. Staff are nice and the breakfast was excellent. It is a large hotel so don't expect a family atmosphere ... very clean but a little clinical? Room is a good size, but bathroom, specially shower a bit cramped...

Lovely stay and great pool The hotel was amazing. We had the most friendly welcome. Room was sizeable and very well appointed. Breakfast very good and the pool was great. Good location within a few minutes walk of four restaurants and a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop. Takes approx 1 hr to get to centre of trieste on the bus or 30 mins on the ferry. Very clean and spacious rooms. The staff are friendly. Good quality price balance. Nicely located for taking a walk around.

Rooms are well appointed. Good location with the sea across the street and lots of dining options. Downstairs had a nice sauna, steam room and pool. The bar on the mainfloor had amazing drinks and super friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.

The beds are good, AC is good. Rooms are clean. It is a bit noisy due to lack of sound isolation in the rooms. Breakfast is good, they have a gym. Parking nearby. Just a decent hotel nothing special but good enough. Wi-Fi also works fine. No issues at all here.

This hotel is not 5* hotel The room is quite small and even the window is closed you still hear a lot of noise from the street. The toilet seat is broken and breakfast is poor. I will not recommend this hotel.

17 min away from the port terminal or 8 min from the train station. The place is neat and clean. Rooms are adequately illuminated and comparatively spacious. Staff are very nice and friendly and super helpful. My friend left something in the ship and the reception staff helped to contact the ship company to report the lost. Highly recommended 👍🏼

It's a very stylish hotel. However, I made a big mistake because I didn't expect there to be a bathtub in a 4-star hotel... The small shower booth had no door or step, and it was cold so I didn't use it because I was afraid I would catch a cold. The room was very spacious but had no windows. The good points were the convenient location, the staff, and the breakfast.

We stayed here for 1 night before picking up a cruise. The hotel is a short distance from the cruise terminal so was ideal for us. The hotel, rooms and staff are all amazing, immaculate, spotlessly clean and well furnished. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in so would recommend it.

When I arrived at the hotel, I thought I was staying at a substandard hotel. The lobby and the rooms were separate, and the rooms seemed to be a hotel converted from an apartment building, which made me worried about safety. However, I was surprised to find that the room was quite large, clean, and tidy, and even had a kitchen. It was quite unexpected to be able to stay in such a large room in Europe...

Had a brief 1 night stay at the hotel with family so we booked 2 rooms. The photos of the rooms on the website give a realistic view of the room, however captured with a very wide lens. They rooms have adequate space, but no where near what the photos show. The Hotel is in need of renovation, that's obvious, but the location is unbeatable. If you look for a short stay in the city center and don't mind a bit outdated interior than Filoxenia is a good choice. I've been there twice. The staff is very nice

Honestly, we were disappointed. The room was clean but small and the bathroom desperately needs to be updated. The toilet was broken in the first room we were given and the shower was broken in the second room. We parked our car in the garage and the grating over the drain damaged our car. Breakfast was great but overall, not worth the money.

This place is ok for the day or two but no more then that. And I don't agree that it is 4 star hotel. Staff is wonderful and they deserve 5 star for sure. Very nice lobby but rooms..I mean they were clean, air conditioning is working like tractor 😂, but there was something off...I don't know what...but something.. We stayed at Le Corderie for two nights. It's a bit outside the center, about a 20-minute walk. But that's not a problem. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, so you have to drive around a bit, but we were usually able to find free parking nearby. It is quite a long walk from the port: 30-40 minutes, and you need to take into account that you will have to walk uphill (it is very difficult with suitcases). Piazza Unità d'Italia is probably the most beautiful square with seaview in the world and this 5star is just there. So yes rooms are small as is the lobby and the breakfast area but just read the plate by the entrance and you will walk in just as emperors or Giacomo Casanova did. Well, scrambled eggs are just an omelette and there's no cruncy bacon but the rest is very good so enjoy Trieste, please

We were in search for a taxi from our cruise ship to the airport at 3am this morning. Our cruise ship could not assist us but when we arrived at your hotel Sophia assured us she could book the taxi service. We were not even guests at this hotel but the service we received was excellent and much appreciated. Thank you Sophia for ensuring our trip ended smoothly. (Unlike our cruise ship)!!
