Very nice resort. We had a family room and I was a bit worried about the mixed reviews. We had a fantastic time, the resort location is perfect to move around the area. Very nice swimming pool and little beach (although public it has direct access from the resort). The ocean water is crystal clear.

Went with a solo group with Newmarket holidays. Lovely hotel when you get your head around the rustic decoration (and not the modern rooms on the website). Stayed here with holiday booked via Newmarket Holidays. The resort was in the middle of nowhere with a supermarket within a 10 minute walk. Very little else Although I had a room booked , was allocated an apartment. No safe and when I asked at reception there was no room in their safe - and this was not in High Season!! Wifi poor. No tea or coffee making facilities.Food ok and plentiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this new hotel! The staff is SO friendly, warm, and eager to help. Everything is new, updated, and clean. The four-course dinner was also EXCELLENT, honestly the best meal we've had in Sicily so far. Parking was easy since it's in a small town. 15 min drive to Trapani, from which you can take a gondola up to Erica (beautiful walled medieval town).

Reasonable hotel. Definitely not the 4* they pretend to be. Examples; room wasn't cleaned, beds are uncomfortable and the pool had a problem. For the rest just ok so 3* would be a better ranking. Breakfast is good. Location a bit hard to find but spectacular views.

We have been twice in this resort in the last decade and can confirm the great quality of the food, the location and view very nice, the room clean and the staff friendly. WiFi though, could be improved. Recommended!

I enjoyed the most amazing lunch at this restaurant! The food was spectacular and the view is simply breathtaking. You can feel that the family creates dishes straight from the heart and soul of Sicily. The freshest fish and ingredients that delight the senses and are beautiful on the plate. I just stayed in this hotel for a week on a trip. Very clean hotel and delicious food. The owner Salvatore made himself available for anything I wanted to eat and the cook, his wife, cooks really well. I gave the rooms 4 stars only because my room was a bit small (I didn't see the other rooms). I would also return with my family without having any doubts. The price of half board is really good.

We loved our stay at the History Hotel. Salvatore and his lovely wife Anna made us feel so at home. Anna is a wiz in the kitchen her homemade bread, marmalade and orange juice was the best I’ve ever had. We will be back.

A nice place located with beautiful vistas. However, it was dissapointing to note that the only restaurant in the resort was closed for lunch on Tuesdays. There is no mention of the same in any of the booking details. Nor was there any alternative. However, the restaurant opened for dinner and the quality of cuisine and service was upto par for a 4 star resort.

The stay at Grandma Sara's was amazing. A magical place and wonderful people to say the least. Beautiful place run by a very nice and friendly family. The room was very clean and comfy. Breakfast had little bit of everything. I loved it. The B&B Is surrounded by a beatiful garden with palm trees. The swimming pool is very clean, I enjoyed every moment of it. This was a great experience. We enjoyed the beautiful B&B and the hospitality of Guiseppe and Tatiana. The room and the property is very clean and well maintained. The Pool is fantastic and of course with a great view. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. An absolute recommendation if you are looking for a great place to stay in this part of Sicily.
