Art Hotel Grandes Murailles

Central location, close to every thing, breakfasts is very nice

My wife and I had a terriffic stay in Valtournenche that fulfilled all our expectations of a laid back yet stylish Italian skiing vacation. Hotel Grand Murailles was the perfect setting with immense charm, a great restaurant and an incredibly helpful staff. Great shoutout to Valentina and her colleagues.

Extremely comfortable and clean hotel. Right beside bus stop and opposite a free covered car park; short distance to Valtournenche lifts. Very obliging team; made sure we had the twin beds we requested, and reception manager Jenny stayed late to help our delayed arrival, and was v welcoming. High class restaurant

I was staying at Art Hotel Grandes Murailles in Valtournenche during my New Year holidays, and it was really amazing. The hotel is situated in the center of the village and one can observe breathtaking views of Alps just right near its entrance :) A bus to Valtournenche slopes and to Cervinia stops in 50 meters. Rooms are not very large, but cozy, warm and comfortable. There is also another one big advantage of this hotel - the restaurant working till 11pm every day. This year right once Italian New Year holidays and Epiphania had been finished, a lot of restaurants in Valtournenche were closed. Except the restaurant in the hotel, and it was definitely pleasant ) Special thanks to the girls working on reception for the assistance and being so nice, friendly and helpful! :) I would definitely like to recommend this hotel for staying in Valle d'Aosta and admiring the nature and tranquility.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and tidy! The restaurant is excellent, both the kitchen and the service! We had a very good and pleasant stay!! And we will definitely come back!! A minus point perhaps, the location, but the ski bus stops right outside the door!

fine hotel, expertly renovated, good quality staff both at the reception and in the lounge, available and always ready to find solutions even for the most demanding customers. The rooms are in perfect Alpine style, but carefully revisited by the manager, perhaps in some a little more light would be appreciated. The kitchen with the young chef Cristian represents the flagship of the structure, typical dishes of the Aosta Valley tradition are offered, with appreciable variations both for the quality and for the presentation, the cellar is also of a good standard. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is located in the center of the town, very close to the ski bus collection point that takes you to the lifts. Furthermore, it is interesting for those who like to take a post-skiing swim, the municipality's multi-purpose facility which has a very well-kept swimming pool with excellent water quality and, no small feat, at very affordable prices. The ski slopes, I think, do not need any introduction, we are in the presence of one of the most beautiful mountains in the entire Alpine range, its majesty the Matterhorn. Good skiing, good relaxation after skiing, excellent cuisine and above all good fun.
