Don’t let the work in the garden put you off, there’s still plenty of space to relax outside. They’re building an outdoor heated pool which will be fabulous, alongside the amazing indoor pool. We’ve had a wonderful 4 days here, and experienced everything they have to offer. The climbing wall is a first for me, and was great fun with the instructor Tomas making me feel safe and confident. The e-bikes are great, we cycled 22kms up the mountain and back, the walk to the Blue Lake is spectacular. We also enjoyed yoga and massages. The food is healthy, plentiful and delicious. If you like the outdoors and a cool vibe this is the place to come. I can’t recommend it highly enough. The staff have all been wonderful, a special mention to the 2 ladies at breakfast and to Alice who has looked after our every request and helped make our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was amazing just a little minus point for the construction work that was not mentioned anywhere when we booked the hotel and it was a bit of a shock when we arrived. Apart from that the hotel is amazing and service was good

This hotel and it's staff are absolutely outstanding. My husband and our two children enjoyed 5 nights here in two mountain suites in February. The breakfast is exceptional, we never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a transfer to/from the hotel and this service was also available in the evening to local restaurants. The spa facilities and prebooking was perfect so that the areas were not overcrowded. Special mentions to Alice and Ricardo who were so helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back for sure and are eager to try other Aethos hotels! Thank you for making our holiday so special.

A super mountain hotel in the truest sense of the word Nestling on the edge of the forest, Aethos Monterosa is an atypical hotel Featuring modern architecture with natural materials. It is located halfway between the 2 Champoluc ski lifts and an efficient shuttle service takes you there throughout the day (free during the day and paying in the evening) This hotel is atypical for its unique range of leisure activities A high-quality climbing wall is available to guests free of charge, as is an ice wall (paying activity). I've never seen anything like it! The hotel's authentic mountain theme is fully validated. The rooms are very large and well equipped. There are 2 quality restaurants, with a preference for the Japanese. The spa is also very large, with a well-equipped indoor area that must be booked in advance (there was enough availability during our stay), a large 25 m indoor pool and 2 outdoor wood-heated jacuzzis, as well as a traditional sauna. The price of the treatments, which I personally find too high, is regrettable. Aethos Monterosa is positioned for families, which is appreciable for this type of hotel. The service is good but could, in certain situations, be a little more personalised given the category of the hotel (reception, ski room) I would, however, recommend it unreservedly as the services are so original. The location and the practical aspect for skiing meet our expectations. Thank you to all the team

Excellent experience! Had a lovely dinner celebrating my brother with family and friends during our stay in Champoluc, would strongly recommend the hotels restaurant 1568 Japanese steakhouse to others! Caring and professional staff and a generally pleasant visit. Beautiful hotel and the restaurant had a very elegant look to it. Excellent wine list and a really nice sommelier, you could really find some bargains and some unusual choices, the Slovenian wines were really something special. Food was great with surprisingly fresh seafood. If there is something to improve it would be the tomahawk that should have been served rare to medium rare. 5/5 restaurant from start to finish! I

I have a knee injury so was unable to ski. I was not staying at Aethos, but the exceptional reception team, especially Ricardo and Alessia and Ambre were so helpful in providing a swimming package for me for 2 weeks. The 25m pool is immaculate and I was lucky enough to have it to myself each day. All the staff were friendly and helpful and it was a lovely experience. Thank you Aethos Monterosa.

A unique resort that combines the energy of the mountains and the adrenaline of rock climbing. An internal wall with different levels, an indoor and outdoor spa and alpine fusion cuisine that combines local flavors with oriental techniques. A round of applause. This hotel is quite exceptional in all ways. The design of the hotel is unique. Modern cutting edge but with a few quirky aspects. The rooms are over 2 floors so one sleeps upstairs but there is really no room for bags upstairs but you do have a bath! Downstairs has a shower and a split wardrobe but it too short for long winter ski gear. Also a lack of hooks for hanging up your ski gear.So put a few hooks in the room and problem fixed. The real +'s for the hotel is the staff. Outstanding at all levels. Food in the restaurant is great. Breakfast is great. Montorosa eggs were yummy. The hotel is situated just out of Champoluc which is a pretty Alpine town. The hotel provides a shuttle bus into the town which is great. Otherwise its a leisurely 10 minute stroll down a snow path which is lit at night. Pool & saunas...so relaxing.Even a hot tub and sauna in the snow.... 100% recommendation to return!

A modern boutique hotel with spacious duplex rooms (including two separate bathrooms) and an incredible view on the mountain. Very attentive staff and surprisingly very kid-friendly.
