• Overpriced: Cheapest Pizza cost $26 (including 10% VAT and 10% service fee), with poor quality and small portions. The cheapest bottle of wine is $72 (including fees).

• Unjustified service fee: 10% added to everything, even at a hotel costing ~$1,000 per night.

• Limited activities with bad Weather and price just didnt made sense: A cruise to nearby islands costs ~€600 per person, plus 10% tax and 10% service fee.

• Small beach: Barely any beach remains during high tide.

• Language barrier: Around 70% of the staff we talked with speaks limited or no English

- i.e: ordered cold beer (corona), brings a hot half beer in a glass of champagne

- i.e: One diet Coke: brings 2 normal Cokes

Just imagine how it was trying to make changes on the menus..

• Contradictory philosophy: Promotes “sanctuary and ecosystem,” yet room lights are always left on when you return.

• Hot water issue: Spent around 4 hours in the villa without hot water. While understandable, it severely impacts your day when there’s nothing else to do except take a bath.

• Check out experience: Our boat departs at 8:00 AM, and unfortunately, our check-out experience was far from smooth.

- At 6:30 AM, we received a wake-up call to confirm the breakfast I had pre-ordered the day before. I hadn’t requested a wake-up call, and the breakfast order was clear, so there shouldn’t have been any need for this.

- At 6:45 AM, they delivered coffee to the villa.

- At 7:00 AM, they brought the breakfast food.

- At 7:15 AM, they came again with a knife, after I had called them about it.

- At 7:30 AM, they arrived to collect our luggage.

- At 7:40 AM, they came again for us to settle the bill for our last few days.

- Finally, at 7:50 AM, they came to remind us that the boat leaves at 8:00 AM.

In total, they came to our villa six times in less than an hour, all while we were still trying to wake up. It was an incredibly frustrating and disruptive experience.

• Staff training issues: The staff hasn’t been properly trained. During lunch or dinner, waiters constantly interrupt to ask if you are enjoying your meal after every cocktail, starter, or dish. They hover unnecessarily to ask if they can clear empty plates or glasses, even when it’s obvious they are finished. Having someone interrupt your dinner repeatedly to talk to you becomes extremely annoying and disruptive.

• Basic amenities missing: Add Netflix to the TV and Jakuzzi in the island—this should be standard

• Golden jail: Feels like being in a golden jail, with nothing to do except spend money.

• Recommendation: Stay a maximum of 2 nights, only for the experience of staying in the villa (or not)
